Yavin IV, Jedi Planet, 1602 Hours

Fynn stood by outside the Yavin Temple awaiting the Jedi that were answering his summons to meet with him about the things that need to be discussed. Yup, that was the most clear explanation he could get right now. As far as he knew the Jedi were just being lazy but news from others around town said that some of the Jedi were befriending Sith, even before the killiks invasions. What has the Order of Jedi fallen to? What has come of what was once the great Order of peacekeepers? These questions will be answered today when the rest arrive. They will be questioned reasonably. They will be given a second chance to prove their worth to the Jedi. They will decide where their loyalties lie.

Clad in his usual attire, Fynn would stand with an authoritative posture, and arms crossed. Looking out he could see down the stairwell leading to the platform he was on. Those arriving from below would see him waiting for them, any coming from behind would see the silhouette with the bright light of outside in front of him. The air was warm, but with a nice breeze. They needed the breeze, as the planet was humid as ever. Common bugs of the summer would be around, as well as birdlike creatures flying through the air. You could hear the chirps of the animals, and the steps of your own feet should you not be talking with someone.

Next to Fynn would be an assisting astromech droid he wasn't too familiar with, but they were here to serve.

"Do you know anything of what these Jedi have been up to?"

"Bwooo"

"I figured not.. you're not lying are you?"

"Bwop"

"Hmmph.. yea right.."

The sarcastic exchanges would return back and forth between the two quietly until the rest of the summoned Jedi had arrived and the meeting could be under way. Fynn was not here to be the one to hate or cause disbandment, but these Jedi had to learn there is right and wrong. So far, Fynn has only heard the wrong. let's hope today could change that.

Megeshi had only been on Yavin IV for a few hours but was already feeling the habitual urge to leave. Her visits to the Jedi Temple were usually brief and direct; she did what she needed to and little more. Megeshi didn’t dislike the company of her fellow Jedi, but certainly preferred the isolation that space travel offered her.

Just having finished conversing with one of the library assistants, she briskly concluded her business and took her leave, walking down towards the stairwell as she noticed the Sephi Jedi standing sentinel over the entrance of the temple. She didn’t recognise him, though this wasn’t anything out of the ordinary; Megeshi didn’t have to deal much with other Jedi. In a moment the words of her old Master echoed in her mind: “…Remember, knowledge is power, community is strength. Power is not gained without strength...” It seemed she had never been so good at following his advice after all. But for his sake or for whatever else, Megeshi decided she’d put in some more effort from then on to work more communally. Turning to the Sephi as she passed, she spoke to her fellow Jedi calmly.

Simply out of curiosity, may I ask you what you’re awaiting, standing here?

Faen hadn't been to Yavin in quite sometime. He had been throughout the galaxy, letting the Force guide him to who needed his strength and wisdom. Out there, he had to be careful about revealing himself as a Jedi, but here on Yavin, that was not a problem any longer. During the Knight's pondering in the Unknown Regions, he found that the best way to ease himself of pain and sorrow was to help those who also suffered from those afflictions. So, now he was an active member of the Order again, and he was more than eager to assist the new Jedi Councilor who had summoned him.

"Stay by my side, Boy." Upon arriving in the temple with his beloved Massiff, Boy, at his side, Faen allowed himself to relax and feel the life around him. The jungle always gave him comfort, but Boy gave him the most comfort of all. The Massiff had been just about everywhere that Faen had been. The canine was brave and loyal- a good symbol of what the Jedi strived for.

"Greetings, Councilor Tarrell and Knight Oflene." Faen happily introduced himself. "I am Jedi Knight, Faen Akatosh," Then he gestured the Massiff sitting to his side, panting with it's tongue out. "And this is Boy. He doesn't bite...Much." He hoped the little joke came across okay.

Zak's recent appointment to the Jedi High Council had come as a little bit of a surprise, he hadn't been aware of his actions drawing attention as it had. In his eyes, Zak had simply followed the Will of the Force and allowed it to guide path and dictate his interactions. He had grown into a Jedi committed to bettering the galaxy as a whole instead of facing down the Sith Empire or their Order. He had watched the Jedi transform from being committed to protecting galaxy and maintaining peace to, in some cases, militant zealots who were only concerned with a war effort. It broke his heart.

Zak hadn't intended on his stay within the walls of Yavin IV to be a long one. For his entire life, Zak had been a Jedi that served the Will of the Force. He had followed the Force wherever it directed him to go with no hesitation, it was a life he felt the urge to continue. However, it was clear to him now that his new responsibilities were going to diminish that capability greatly. In fact, Zak felt the pull of the Force guiding him to Thyferra once more but he had come to attend a meeting of the Jedi Order. He had come to learn faces, hear grievances, and gain an understanding over the current mood of the Order itself.

Initially, Zak carried himself with a brisk pace, a pace that would betray him to only his closest confidants and friends. He had to actively reel in the antsy feel that had built up within his chest before stepping from the shade of the temple's interior and into the sunlight of Yavin IV. His pace slowed as he walked up to the ever-growing gathering of Jedi, a genuine smile formed on his lips as his eyes darted from face to face. Upon reaching Fynn, Zak would gently place a hand on his shoulder as he came up from behind and took a place standing alongside his colleague.

"Fynn," Zak greeted with a nod of his head. "it was a wonderful idea bringing the Order together like this." He stated warmly before his attention would turn to the growing crowd. "Knights Akatosh and Oflene, it's a pleasure to meet both of you." Zak continued before he offered his hand for them to shake. "Zakrym La, but most people just call me Zak, it's easier to remember."

Not far behind Master Zakrym La was his Padawan, Lucifrey Sol. The bright and bubbly demeanor she once wore so outwardly was gone. Her involvement in recent battles against the Kilik and her encounters with various Sith had hardened her youthful spirit, slowly shaping her into a mature woman with each day that passed -- though she still had a ways to go before she finally reached that milestone.

"Padawan Lucifrey Sol." Luci stated simply with her eyes on the ground between everyone. A slight hint of guilt could easily be seen across her highly expressive features, especially to those who knew her most. Upon seeing Knight Akatosh's mastiff she managed to put on a faint smile and gave Boy a friendly little wave before her hands went behind her back to rest together against her hips.

With that she simply stood by and waited, feeling like it wasn't her place to say much or draw anymore attention to herself. She couldn't shake the feeling she'd done something wrong. Without looking around anymore she remained put just behind and to the side of her father figure Master, Zak, like an obedient daughter who looked like she thought she was in trouble.

Edaara found herself returning to Yavin IV more and more often in recent days. She felt a sense of peace on this planet, surrounded by the light side of the Force. Too much she had felt the presence of the dark side; not within, but without. She had heard Councillor Tarrell had set up a meeting for the Jedi, addressing problems that should have been addressed sooner. Edaara too felt the slipping of the Jedi Order and feared if nothing was done, the galaxy would slide back into the hands of the Sith.

A somber, serious attitude hung in the air as Edaara Tonor walked upwards, joining the group of Jedi surrounding two Council members and a few knights and padawans. Recent events had dulled Edaara's usually bright, kind smile, and it seemed to have the same effect on the others.

"Councillor Tarrell, Councillor La, Knight Oflene, Knight Akatosh, Padawan Sol," she greeted each person with a nod. Despite the trying times they were in, Edaara did not fail to be diplomatic and polite. "I am Knight Edaara Tonor,"

It was probably a bit too strong to say that Zathria had been away from the Order, but she hadn't spent much time around the temple recently. Her time had been preoccupied with the Mercy Ships operation on the day-to-day or providing relief in the many underserved parts of the galaxy.

But she had heard about the new Councilors appointed, and one of them had called for members of the Order to return for something, though that, too, was unclear.

She had brought her ship in, landing and making her way to the meeting point. It was odd to be back in a way, all the faces around were unfamiliar, and those she had met and known seemed... gone? Was that a testament about the Order? Probably not, she was probably blowing things out of proportion.

The truth was she had hope. She had hope that the new members of the Council might be able to set things right that had gone askew in the Order.

Rather than participate in the rather stiff-sounding greetings that were going on, she simply moved over and took a seat, scrolling through her datapad to answer the myriad of messages she had regarding the Mercy Ship's deployment to the Killik disaster sites.

Truthfully, it had been quite a while since Sarella had last stepped foot on Yavin IV. While far from being the reclusive, anti-social type, the Consular often found herself traveling across the more remote and impoverished planets of the Outer Rim - providing aid wherever the Force ushered her to go. Such had been the status-quo since many of the Jedi Temples were abandoned, and the Order seemed without a clear direction for some time before that.

All the same, she had received the same transmission from the newly-appointed Councilor. And while the man hadn’t elaborated on what he wished to discuss, Sarella was hopeful that the influx of new leadership promised changes for the Order as a whole. Changes for the better.

She arrived a few hours in advance - allowing herself able time to wander and explore the Temple as it had become. There was a multitude of new faces that filled the hallways - Padawans and Younglings alike that found their way, one way or another, to the Jedi. She recognized none of them and they didn’t recognize her. And perhaps that was sign in of itself that she had been away for too long.

Sarella stepped into the meeting place not long after the others, allowing her gaze to sweep across those assembled. She was adorned in her usual white and tan robes, while the hilt of her lightsaber was clipped on the left side of her belt. Her silver-gold hair was pulled into a messy bun and pinned into place with a simple hairpin.

“Councilor’s,” She said breezily, nodding towards Fynn and Zak before moving to her seat. Her gaze flicked over to the others, followed by a small dip of her head in greeting. “Knight Sarella,” She said, opting not to individually introduce herself to everyone that arrived. The Consular promptly took a seat beside Zathria, offering the Echani a small tilt of her head as well.

Having been busy for the last… as long as he could remember, Quin hadn’t been to Yavin in a long time. Lots had happened since then and he hadn’t thought much of it, but if a member of the Jedi Council came calling, it was more than enough reason to return, even if the agenda provided hadn’t been much to go off of.

Whatever would be on the table, the Padawan didn’t want to be late, so he had made sure to arrive extra early to the temple. After changing into his official Jedi robes, reacquainting himself with his quarters and a few familiar faces, he would head over to the meeting spot. He saw that a few others were there already, though he only recognized the two councilors, Master La from the beach on Kashyyyk, and Master Tarrell who had sent out the message.

“Masters,” he said, giving the two a respectful bow. “Padawan Quin Leonkri.” After a quick look at the others, he took a seat close by, wondering what to expect from this very sudden meeting.

As the Councilor stood awaiting the arrival of the other Jedi, he greeted each one with a closed smile, a nod and a "Good Afternoon." The Sephi wasn't upset or angry. he knew the Jedi were not perfect and didn't expect perfection. With that said, he knew they have been making a lot of mistakes and wanted to clear it up with them as well as get their input. They deserve a chance to defend themselves. So now is their time.

The Jedi gathered, some introducing themselves to Fynn, in which he would kindly return each greeting with a short introduction, "Master Fynn Tarrell" and then if offered a hand he would shake them. He wasn't going to be rude and not greet his fellow Jedi, but there was a slight showing of 'we need to get to talking' on his face for the group that had arrived. When he laid on eyes on Zak and received their greeting he knew he wasn't going to have to carry this conversation alone.

"Yea of course. It'll be good for them to hear this from us. As well as getting to know what's going on from them. I just hope we keep good relations within the Jedi after this. I know some Padawans have been known to be quite aggressive and emotional. Not good for the Jedi Order.."

Afterwards he looked over and saw the vast majority were sat and others standing. None of them familiar to him as they had seemed to all be away from the temple quite a bit. Nevertheless the meeting would now begin.

"Good Afternoon everyone. I am Master Fynn Tarrell with me here is Master Zakrym La, but as he said to some of you just call him 'Zak.' As for why you are all here, I needed to gather information regarding the situation the Jedi are in right now. We all know where the Order stands against the Empire, but it's time to talk about something happening within that. With the Killiks invading and the galaxy at risk.. we have to put our differences aside and protect the galaxy. A ceasefire is being ordered by Grand Master Voran as some of you may already know."

As he spoke he paced slowly back and forth keeping his attention on the Jedi group and his arms behind his back relaxed. His voice a little disappointed with the idea of working with Sith, but he knew it was what needed to be done. Then looking to the rest he wanted to be sure they were handling it well.

"Have any of you any input on the matter? I know for some of you it will be difficult to rely on an enemy to keep you alive."

Zathria returned the other Knights nod of greeting and was about to introduce herself before the Councilor spoke up. She took note of both of them as they introduced themselves, and put away her datapad to give her undivided attention.

She listened as they spoke of a ceasefire with the Empire, and she had mixed feelings on the matter. She was no stranger to the war and had notably participated in the Battle of Sullust as well as its aftermath, but truthfully she'd never wanted war. She'd focused her work much more on healing and repairing the galaxy than tearing it apart. Not that she didn't recognize the need to take up arms at times, but there had been almost no attempts at peace from either side.

Masters, I support the need for a ceasefire, but if we're looking for allies, shouldn't our focus be on repairing our alliance with the New Republic? she asked. She couldn't have been the only person thinking it. The New Republic had been their allies for years and since the falling out, little progress had been made in repairing things. It would be far easier to re-friend the Republic than to settles millennia old enmity with the Sith.

And if individual Sith violate the ceasefire, how are we supposed to respond? she asked honestly. She remembered the history lessons about the Great Galactic War and the way border skirmishes continued to appear after the peace agreement. The cold war had still had its share of killing on both sides even if open war was banned. She was a pragmatic woman who knew that things could go south in a hurry. And yet, she couldn't deny that the idea of peace - though it seemed far fetched and unlikely - was appealing.

Sybella was late in responding to the summons, a fact she was all too aware of. It wasn't like her, usually, she was rather prompt, especially given the discussion's serious nature; fatigue had got the better of her, weighing so heavy the signs were all but evident, given the rather prominent discolouration under her eyes. Yet again, sleep had evaded the young heiress and though she ought to be resting, she instead quickened her pace.

If she wasn't mistaken, Master @Fynn Tarrell was seeking discourse on some recent development. A ceasefire with the Sith. An endearing notion, quite fantastical really, but had they learnt nothing from history? The Empire and its ilk couldn't be trusted. Those who served the Dark Side were the self-serving sort; necessity might have forced them into this arrangement but as soon as the threat receded, they would no doubt fall back into their same old, vile habits. Tyranny and treachery. Destruction and dead.

Hearing the voices of her brethren, Sybella slowed her steps and silently joined the congregation. She was seamless at first, slipping in amongst those already present; not wanting to cause too much of a disturbance, she remained mostly silent, attentive as some began to voice their thoughts.

The Echani knight made an especially good point and Sybella said as much. "I agree with Knight @Zathria . Forgive me but it seems ludicrous, prioritising relations with Sith over the New Republic."

Realising then she had yet to introduce her, Sybella gave a subtle bow in a sheepish attempt to mask her otherwise forward statement "Please, pardon my tardiness. I am Knight Demici."

After greeting everyone and shaking Zak's hand, Faen patiently listened to what Fynn, Zathria, and Sybella had to say. Ludicrous to find peace with the Sith over the Republic? Didn't the Republic issue peace with the Sith? In order for the Jedi to be allowed back into the Core, the treaty with the Sith would crumble and all Faen could see was everyone's fingers pointed back at the Jedi for bringing war to the Core. Knight Akatosh strongly disliked the Sith as much as the next guy, but maybe their needed to be common ground found between both sides. The Killik invasions could create a perfect understanding.

"The New Republic doesn't want to mend their relationship. Their chancellor has gone as far as to allowing the Sith to join the Senate." Faen spoke with a warm baritone. "I think our priority should be on the Sith. Especially their impact on our more younger members. It is very hard to control one's emotions at a young age. We need to be very careful with who send to work with whom." Recently, New Alderaan had been taken and a prominent prison had been liberated. It would be difficult to work with the people you watched break into your prison and mop the floor with your ass.

"We should honor the Grandmaster's wishes," He gazed down at his massiff with a smile. "And I believe that if we hold fast to our honor, the Sith will do the same. We must act by example." Then he lifted his gaze back to the others. "But I believe that our Padawans should have more rigorous mental training if any of them are even going to be aloud to work alongside Sith. It is very easy to act irrationally when we can sense the disgust and hatred for ourselves coming from others."

Syl wandered in, dressed casually, looking much more like the resistance operative she was than the Jedi Master she was supposed to be. She had arrived in time to catch most of the conversation, but hadn't really thought to intervene, things seemed to be mostly going as she expected them to. Till she did hear something that made her want to speak up.

"Padawans working with the Sith?" She said as she spotted a crate near the pointy eared Councilor and plopped down atop it with her feet tucked comfortably under her. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no. That's not something we should even consider, as someone who still remembers how much of an idiot I was a padawan that's just a recipe for disaster." She noticed the droid that had previously been assisting Fynn wandering nearby and dropped a hand down and patted it gently on its head, almost as you would a pet. She liked astromechs, cute and reliable as they were.

"It's not really as easy as you think it is," she addressed the Serennian Knight, attention still on the droid, "the Republic have made it abundantly clear they don't want anything to do with us. Doesn't help that their Chancellor and prominent Senators like the idiot from Coruscant seem to have a hate boner for the lot of us. You'd think we'd killed their pets or something by the way some of them speak." Still playing with the droid, she gave it one last pat and let the little thing wheel away, tooting and hooting happily as it went.

"This ceasefire does offer a good opportunity though, no matter what its flaws, the Republic retains its democratic roots. Their leaders often do what their people want, and right now the people don't trust us. This might be an opportunity for us to actually give them a reason to trust us, to show them we mean well. Can't even really do much of that when you have to sneak in to even get your favorite burger, forget about actually earning anyone's trust."

Maura had come in a tad bit late, but things seemed to have just gotten started, so she wasn't worried about that. In fact, she was excited more than anything! Both of the councilors and a master were here in addition to a bunch of new faces she didn't recognize at all. One of them in particular, a tiefling girl with a padawan braid, caught her eyes first. "Horns!" How cool!

Of course, Maura made her way over to stand by the other padawan (@Lucifrey Sol), but her ears twitched in the direction of the ongoing conversation. From what she'd caught so far, they were talking about the Sith and the New Republic, both of which were not fans of the Jedi at the moment. Maura understood why the Sith didn't like them - they were Sith - but she was pretty outdated in her political knowledge. Which meant she had no idea about any of it.

"Yeah! Who cares what the Republic leaders think? If people need help we should help them!" the colorful padawan piped up just after @Sylphrena, butting into the middle of the conversation with little context. "Kinda stupid not to help someone just cause someone else tells you not to."

When Fynn spread the news it seemed to cause an outburst. The other Jedi Knights and even a Master chiming. Followed by a colorful Padawan. All with interesting points of view on the matter. Zathria looking to question why the Order would not create a good relationship with the New Republic. It was a fair question but Fynn knew it would be much harder to do that rather than the ceasefire ordered by the Grandmaster. Then after Zathria came a tardy attendant in Sybella. How kind of her to show up last second and harp on the Councilor.

Faen made a good point in his statements, as well as what he said regarding Padawans fighting with or against Sith forces. The danger was too real. Master Sylphrena spoke up about the same thing. It was clear Padawans were not being look after as previously ordered years back. Seemed there would need to be a new issuing of that specific order. And that would bring us to the Padawan Maura. A bright and youthful one, but also with rash and almost thoughtless decision making. Much to admire in every one of these Jedi's passions and ideas, but of course there was the side of the Council as well.

"If I may, the Jedi will have their time to attempt to mend relations with all of the Senate to include the New Republic. I had not said we were choosing to be allies with the Sith, but that when the killiks attack we would have to put differences aside and fight alongside them. As for allies, the Jedi do have their plans for regaining our alliances with the New Republic, Free World's Alliance, and possibly even the ISC."

As he spoke he looked to Maura and wondered as far as Padawans, who all were actually being trained properly. The actions of a Padawan spoke wonders of who their Master was and how much they truly cared for their Padawan's well being.

"If you are a Padawan raise your hand... now, if you are a Padawan and have a Master training you put your hand down."

Looking around the Councilor wanted to take note of the hands still raised. Should there be a majority, then he would use this as an opportunity for any Jedi leaders to take up a Padawan and teach them, and watch over them. If the hands were down, then Fynn would take note that in the event of a Padawan misbehaving or going against what was said, that not only the Padawan have repercussions but their Master as well.

"So leaders look around. The hands have all went down. If the Council hears of Padawan shenanigans with Sith.. it is on you. Take responsibility for watching over your Padawans. And for the Padawans.. you are not to step foot on the battlefield until you have had proper training and your Master is with you to protect you. You may think you can handle yourself, but the Sith are lethal is horrid wretched ways..."

Fynn crossed his arms and stood still in front of the group and would look around sure there were even more questions now.

"Any other questions? Please this is the time to get them out."

Tazlen had been present, but he kept to himself. He stood leaning against one of the columns of the Jedi temple, arms crossed over his chest. He had seen and heard of these meetings and they always led to a whole lot of jack shit. Tazlen drew out a cigarra and lit it, blowing the smoke away from the gathering as he listened. Being half Annfyn meant he didn’t need to be in the kumbaya circle to listen to every word. For a moment, he watched skies and trees all around them, pondering on how long this would all remain intact before either Sith or Killik came for it. The Sith had already attacked here once and the Grandmaster just so happened to be there to defend. A Jedi Master had been badly injured. What would happen if Raze himself showed up? Would he abide by silly notions like ceasefires and other horseshit the diplomats agreed to in their cushy little offices?

Tazlen exhaled a cloud of smoke before tilting his head towards the others, “I don’t think we have the luxury of continuing to be a free voluntary service for everyone. Not if we want to make a difference. Not if we want to have a role to play in the Killik fight or the Sith fight that will keep looming no matter what,” He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear, though he didn’t step any closer to them. He didn’t want anyone to start hacking on his cigarra smoke or judging.

“It’s about time we asked for endorsements from those that do support us. We need to beef up the Resistance. We need ships, we need weapons and armor and we need to ask our allies to provide them. The sooner the galaxy stops seeing us as some sort of toothless religious cult, the sooner we will make real alliances. Right now we have a vague presence with the Free World Alliance that’s not defined. We need to formalize that alliance and get it written into stone and we need to sell it to them by showing them that the Jedi and the Resistance will be able to defend against any Sith threat that befalls their planet should they strike simply for their ties to Jedi. Right now we are losing allies because we offer people nothing in the way of real protection. Goodwill missions only go so far - the common people want to know we can truly protect them and bite back even if the Sith come. The answer to that is a powerful, militarized Resistance.”

Oof.

Luci's Annfyn and Tiefling blood churned wildly. Her tail twitched, flicked to the side, and curled in on itself a couple times. The guilt she'd felt sharpened with each mention of Padawans interacting with Sith. She'd fought them, worked with them, and even made the additional effort of getting to know some. She'd also been on the battlefield, fighting alongside Resistance forces, and wondered if she was included in the individuals that were being implicated by Master Tarrell.

She wasn't about to bring up all those complicated situations and embarrass Zak though. He'd just been promoted to the Council after all, and she hoped his Padawan's exploits weren't about to be called into question in front of everyone. With a slightly anxious sigh she turned her head to flash a short smile at the rainbow-haired girl (@Maura Starwalk), who arrived near her and raised her voice enough to address everyone. Right next to Luci's sensitive ears.

"-Ahm-" She accidently cleared her throat and tried her best to keep her composure. "I like your hair." She said with a hushed volume and mostly friendly tone to the spunky girl. Then Luci stepped out from behind Zak, closed her eyes, and raised her hand.

A moment later she returned her hand to the back of her hips and took a step back, keeping the jumble of thoughts she had on everyone's perspectives to herself for now.

Zak had been listening in stoic silence. He grimaced slightly at what he heard. The answers many Jedi pushed forward was simple further militarization, that “solution” had gotten them to this point. He began to wonder if the Jedi had forgotten their truest purpose, what Rey had laid down when the Order was re-established.

Hope.” Zak stated simply but loudly. “We were meant to be symbols of hope to the Galaxy as a whole.” He continued. “When was the last time any assembled saw hope in the eyes of people at the sight of a Jedi?” He asked a rhetorically. “I hate to say this, we have fallen for the greatest deception of the Sith ourselves. We have fallen into their trap. The same trap that claimed our Order during the Clone Wars.” He explained. “The Sith are shaping the perception of us to be dogmatic in our beliefs and zealous in our conflict against them.” He continued. “We have allowed ourselves to become so focused on defeating the Sith that we have lost track of the reason why we are fighting.” He continued. “It isn’t for politicians. It isn’t for governments. It’s for the common people of the Galaxy.” He explained. “To change that perception, we have to alter ourselves.” He explained.

Zak would fall silent as he allowed for his words to sink in. He wanted the Jedi here to develop their own conclusions. He wanted them to think outside of the box.

We must provide something to the Galaxy, something beyond simply warring against the Sith.” He explained. “The Jedi of old acted as more than just warriors of light, they were doctors, they were farmers, and they were scholars as well.” He continued. “Perhaps, we should begin following their examples.” He stated calmly. “If we are to face the Sith and bring hope to the Galaxy, we must evolve and focus on more than just the battlefield.” He stated in finality.

After all, if we provide nothing to our allies what reason should they provide resources to any of our efforts?” He asked, his body shifted and allowed him to glance back at Knight Axil.

Zakrym La and Fynn Tarrell both were the perfect candidates for leading the Jedi. Faen's warm smile only grew after Zak's well said response to Knight Axil. The Jedi did not lose the Clone Wars because of their military, it was because the Sith had distracted them- clouding their better judgment. Perhaps the war would've gone differently if they had discovered the defect in all of their clones. Rumor had it, there were several cases that were damn well near close enough to uncovering the plot, but somehow, Sidious prevailed.

These were different times, however, where the Jedi had no military. At first, Tazlen's words brought worry the Half-Annfyn that they would be just another empire. But, then the thought simply became a silly one to set aside. The Jedi were not the Sith. They were protectors, peacekeepers, and warriors for those who could not pick up the blade for themselves. That was what the galaxy needed.

However, something Faen senses was...shame. Coming from one of the Padawans. The Seer could tell it was coming from Padawan Sol and that it probably had to do with what Faen had said concerning Padawan's and the Sith. Shame was not what he wanted the future of the Jedi to feel. If the Padawan had the strength to work with and against the Sith, then she was the future the Order needed. So, Faen caught Boy's attention, and subtly sent him to sit by Lucifrey's side. If the Padawan would catch his gaze, he'd give her his friendly smile and small bow of his head.
You're loyalty to the Order is well respected, Lucifrey Sol. Never be ashamed for acting nobly in our name. His warm voice would echo in her head.
