It didn’t take long for Altair to smash and get rid of the last two infected. For being a diplomat, Celeste was surprisingly proficient with a saber and he was thankful for it. He didn’t think he could carry them both while he was still sporting an injury from earlier. He was not the least bit enthused about making their way up the stairs, but even he couldn’t spot any ways out.
The tiefling began to cough as smoke rapidly filled the room and he held his breath. However, he also gathered the Force and blasted it out to disperse the smoke back up the way it came. He quickly gestured for Celeste to do the same, forcing it to travel up and overwhelm the people that tossed the grenade to begin with. He could already hear some coughing up in the distance and he finally exhaled.
“Let’s go!” He shouted as he began to bolt up the stairs, using the small window of opportunity as the smoke began to plume up and back towards their attackers. Altair applied Force sight as he came up to the main level, spotted several figures doubled over and coughing. Clearly they didn’t expect the smoke to unnaturally turn and head back towards them. This meant the Sith had a brief element of surprise.
Altair channeled the Force and he thought of Celeste’s idea of explosives, quickly thinking on his feet. He unleashed the Force in a blast of inferno, the fire enhanced by the smoke and chemicals in the air. The result was a brilliant spew of flames that jetted right towards the people standing in the corridor, igniting them instantly.
“Burn, bitches!!” Altair called out gleefully as he practically danced around from his own brilliant plan.
