Who would play your characters?

So, I didn't see a topic like this, and it was something fun I'd always had in my other groups, so obviously the question is who is the A-list or B-list Celeb' that you see playing your characters?

I can't really start things off, but buona fortuna.

Damn good question. Although I try and avoid linking my characters with real world actors. I've found, in the past, that no matter what I do, I end up playing the character just how the actor is usually type-cast. So while this will be an interesting thread to see what some people say, I'm going to have to bow out. ;)

Gong Li would play older Satoryu. Even though she is in her 40's, she can easily look 20.

Indeed, the same reason I do not participate. But I figured it would bring a smile, and a genuine thinking challenge to some people.

I modelled Kara on Morrigan, so probably Claudia Black.
The Twins? Nicholas Hoult.
Aro? I don't use him, so...pointless.
Bhalr? Well...you'll see.
As for ACE? Honestly I have no idea.

Jhon Cordatus is Jeff Bridges. Nathanaeu Bastele is Nathan Fillion.

Good pick with Jeff Bridges. I didn't see it before, but now...yeah, good fit.

I honestly don't know. I thought about Dakota fanning, but her face wouldn't be right. I'm terrible with celebrities, so I'm not sure who would be that great "all american girl" look.

Adam Baldwin as Sisk. Gruff and tough, with a soft side.

Jamie Fox as Silas. Bad ass yet reserved.

Heath Ledger as Vin. He's got the right blend of smarmy and noble.

And for Falen, I'd probably go with Leonardo Dicaprio. He's got the playboy thing down, and he can do bad ass as evidenced by The Departed.

I'd say the late Heath Ledger for Caleb. I mean just look at the second photo in the profile...

Not to mention he's shown he can play dark characters just as well (if not better) than his usual shenanigans. So it would be interesting to see how he pulled off the duality and if he could show an angry side instead of a batshitinsane side to the "darkness".

As for the Wanderer. I don't know. He's silly at times, but at others entirely self destructive. Personality wise I'd give him Robert Downey, Jr. if you've seen his stuff like Less Than Zero where despite his age he shows a mastery of the "self destructive" role (although the Wanderer obviously isn't a cocksucking drug addict) and Sherlock Holmes where in some ways he shows the duality of silly with self destructive/defeating. But looks wise, absolutely not.

It's really tough to label characters like this though, seeing as I'm assuming both actors could play a role we haven't seen them play before based on other roles. In some cases it's quite a big leap.

I wish I could pull on some of my oldschool actor/actress knowledge here, but unfortunately I feel like most of them don't quite fit the roles given the types of movies they were churning out at the time.

Dakota Fanning would be a good pick.

For me, lol, I don't associate any of my characters with real people, virtually impossible for me.

Lol would I sound like a toolbag if I changed from Robert Downey to Ryan Reynolds? Yep, probably. Hell, let's go with it.

Like I said, really difficult to actually label these characters.

Good pick with Jeff Bridges. I didn't see it before, but now...yeah, good fit.

I only see him doing it in that "True Grit" voice and it doesn't work for me haha. Definitely looks the part though.

I suppose Ayisha would only make sense to be played by Angelina Jolie since that's who her pics are after (partially.) Her personality would probably match well with the character too.

I genuinely don't know who'd play any of my characters... for Kiro, I'd need someone with a British accent, but beyond that...
