It's all in your genes, and I'm one of the few people who have evolved out of having wisdom teeth. IIRC, eventually no one human will have wisdom teeth.

Yes, and if you have missing teeth it's called hypodontia. And most people who have it have some form of down syndrome or ovarian cancer.

Eat soft foods, watch movies, cuddles with your lover or a stuffed animal. You'll need it. Make sure you get something in your stomach and can take your pain killers soon after the Novocaine starts wearing off. For me it hurt a lot, and I'm not a pussy when it comes to pain. I'm not a masochist, I just tend to be stoic.

I was in pain until I got the penicillin and the loratabs. I do not need the gauze as the bleeding stopped, but my mouth feels weird now, and i got stitched where the teeth used to be.

Also, I cannot spit. I just let the blood drool out.

Mine was quite smooth going, so I can't really tell you what to avoid. But a spitbucket is a necessity once it starts healing. The taste made me dry heave a lot, so just be aware that that may happen.

Also, your jawline's going to swell like a bitch and parts of your cheeks may go bright yellow, probably depending on your complexion.
