Definitely not a choice I would have made. Funny enough I was watching Fast and the Furious 6 last night and had told my friends I actually hoped Gina Carano was cast for Wonder Woman.

I assume by this you mean it to be a good one? While I am not really confident I just don't see it, though she definitely has time to bulk up a bit. I would offer she doesn't really have any strong acting background to work from, but then again neither did my first choice.

Ben Affleck as Batman. This is why the Marvel Universe typically has successful films, and DC does not. DC really needs to get a sense of continuity and cross-movie cooperation going. Christian Bale should really be in here. Nothing against Ben Affleck's acting, but I mean, c'mon.

I'm ambivalent, Man of Steel and pretty much every ever Snyder "movie" to date have in my opinion been just awful awful awful wastes of time. I doubt this will be any different.

My only problem with her would be that she lacks charisma/is a pretty poor actress, but then again, I don't care nearly as much as others on this forum inevitably will.

Doesn't make sense to me. The Dark Knight storyline was meant to be a standalone Batman with no real heroes other than Bats. That ended and they really want to divorce themselves from that series so casting Bale (even considering how TDK ended or even forgetting it entirely) doesn't make sense. He really wasn't a great Batman.

Actually, thinking about it kinda makes me sad that seeing as this will be her (Wonder Woman) first major cinematic outing and they didn't choose a terribly strong actress. Makes me worry her not being received well on that count could hurt the prospect of her finally getting a better deal worse.

I mean, people complain about movies like the Transformers franchise and yet they continue to pay to see them, it's a vicious cycle.
