It's ok Johnny, you can cut mine off as this brother has so much testosterone that mother****er would grow back.

It's a shame really.

I wish it was either a complete unknown, or someone with recognisable talent.

Or the one everyone's been bloody campaigning for, Jaime Alexander.

Agreed on all counts. I see Jaime kinda, but she doesn't seem like a standout to me.

Well, who would you all rather see as Wonder Woman, if given the option?

My personal choice was Gina Carano and I fully admit she probably wouldn't be the best. To me she had the physicality, decent acting, and even sounded authoritative while similar to her DCAU incarnation. Somebody pitched Olivia Wilde to me a while ago and while I was hesitant at first I actually came to like it. I want to say it was Pros?

I'm not sure who I would've chosen, but I know it wouldn't have been a white actress. Jamie Alexander is good, and could do well with the classical look of Wonder Woman, but the character is from the Amazon so some pale white actress isn't really the model of an Amazonian warrior.

In the case of the actual choice, though, Gal Gadot is Israeli. That's a (very) minor step in the right direction, at least.

I would have tried to find an unknown.

Shouldn't she have been Greek? I suppose it's better than blondie Brad Pitt as Achilles in Troy.

I always thought theyd get someone with bigger boobs. I'm just saying....thats a staple in the series, especially for her.

As someone who's been a fan of the comics and various animated depictions of Wonder Woman, I'm both happy to hear they're actually finally getting over that fear of daring to use her - something the head of DC themselves has admitted - but also disappointed this is how we're getting it.

I don't know anything about the Fast and Furious films personally, so I'll have to rather have to discount that from my views on the actress, but I will say, its actually nice to see they cast someone who's ethnic background is actually from in and around the Mediterranean. Probably unintentional, but a nice touch.

Its just... really, she couldn't be given her own film? I know its the riskiest investment of the three, but it makes more sense than the proposed Flash movie. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are supposed to be the big three of DC - they've had several mini-series built around this entire concept. Diana is herself either a clay figure brought to life, and empowered by, the ancient gods of Greece themselves (pre-New 52), or in a twist of irony given DC's version of Hercules' twelve tasks, herself the hybrid daughter of Zeus himself. Combined with the decision of her people to emerge from literally millennia of isolation when the outside world discovers them and/or a great threat looms over them, that's a backstory that is long overdue its live action movie treatment. Hell, Bruce Timm has already proven it can work twice. The only way I see this working is if turns out they actually do have a (yet unannounced) Wonder Woman film in the works, and her appearance in Batman/Superman might be just a cameo to build up to that.

I would definitely say her having a larger bust is not a staple for her. Blessed by Aphrodite and Hera indeed, but that doesn't mean a large bust. Her only physical description is "universal striking beauty". Not something requires her to be sporting large breasts.

her appearance in Batman/Superman might be just a cameo to build up to that.

That's the popular theory.

I know, but look at all of the cartoon movies and/or comics. I've been a pretty avid fan of DC for a few years now, by far not an expert, but yeah....the one thing I've always seen; big boobs.

Good for you?

I'm surprised that her casting is what's bothering people and not the fact that Snyder, with a pretty terrible track record in regards to female characters, is the one that will be directing her role in the film.

I wasn't expecting kudos. Just trying to verify the point I figured she'd have big boobs. >.> That's all I'm saying.

No, 25 actually. No need to be an ass hat about it. I just figured since DC always made her out to be that way, they would find someone who more closely resembled here. Then again they chose Ben Afflek as Batman so....who knows. He does, however, have the chin.
