Johnny boy here likes to take everything that I like and make fun of them, no matter who it is lol He has got to poke holes into everything and there is never anything wrong with what he likes.

I liked Gambit in the movie, although he didnt do much, but who cares. He was there and pretty cool. You could say that Cyclops and Blob did absolutely nothing in the movie, but no one is complaining about that. I thought that Taylor Hitsch was a very good Gambit and we pretty cool in the movie, but thats just me lol

Johnny is still crying on the fact that they raped Deadpool into submission in that movie, and to me completely ruined that character. If there is a Deadpool movie cool, but he is still ruined in my eyes due to this movie.

Frank Castle wasn't ruined for you in Punisher: War Zone? I've gotta disagree with the portrayal of Gambit. He didn't seem as suave as he should have been and I never really detected a Cajun accent. Plus that wasn't Deadpool. It was Weapon XI... and that's the way I'm gonna keep it. Deadpool was busy... getting Kool-Aid.

Saw it..and..it was..meh-ish.
The biggest complaint I probably have is just how cheesy and cliche it was from beginning to end.
The lack of use of most characters..who were just there..to be there. (i.e. Emma Frost, Gambit, Cyclops, god awful Deadpool)

Xavier showing up in the end was a nice touch--very random and out of place--but nice.

Also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCTDVNgNUeY, at 1:54. Did this girl make it into the movie, or did I blink & miss her? Storm, maybeh?

I think they were going to have Storm in it, but later decided it would be better if she was cut out.

Pfft..****ing bums.
She would have fit in perfectly into that Africa scene as a little wink wink to the fans. Guess they needed to spend more time on Gambit's lovely accent. }=/

I thought Hitsch played a good gambit as well, didn't have the best Cajun accent in the world, but probably as realistic a gambit as you can get without just taking right off a comic book page. He put his own ideas into it, and it worked, sadly he was in all of 3 scenes.

***SPOILER THOUGH IT WAS IN THE PREVIEWS AND DOESN'T REVEAL MUCH OF ANYTHING***
The opening scene where you first see him flipping the cards is probably the coolest moment you see him, that and when he shoots the cards at Wolverine through the wall.

***END SPOILER***

Aside from that I was disappointed in it simply because of how big a Gambit fan I am. Me and my friend both went to see Gambit in the film, sadly we seen him for a total of 5 minutes, but I guess it being a story revolving around Logan it's hard to put more than a half hour into a side character minus Sabertooth.

That whole little speech that Stryker gives Wolverine also isn't in it. I was highly disappointed by that, because it made the movie sound epic.

I agree with you on this statement. I dislike Hugh Jackmans acting as well alot its not very good and its like stupid basic anti hero acting. Like hes an asshole but still a good guy type crap acting.

I disliked the whole way that wolverine loses his mind to. In the comics he loses it because of stryker erasing it and he escapes to live in those woods for like 20 years. Not with the way it happened in the movie.

Out of interest, who do you think is a good actor?

Gene Hackman or Anthony Hopkins; They are actors where when they are in a role. Its actually different from their last movie and they seem to have different personalities good enough to fool you if you've met them in that way and didn't know who they were.

You think those old farts would play a better Wolverine? Not trying to sound like a d!ck, but they're out of their prime, good actors, yes, able to play a primal young beast, no.

As for that speech Stryker has, thats all throughout the movie, they just pieced it together so it sounds like he said it all at one time, or had the actor say it all as if it were one line.

There's a lot of people you can blame for this, but Hugh Jackman should not be one of them. I think his acting is very good and god knows the movie would have been a complete failure if he was half the actor he is.

And yes, you can tell they slopped that "mind-erasing bullet" horseshit at the end for teh lolz.

Hugh Jackman isn't a horrible actor. I just dislike him in this one a lot; in this movie the character of wolverine is like main characters that have been in every other action movie ever. Wolverine is a bad ass character and I know its a superhero movie. I just think they made him way to awesome of a fighter. Rarely is he losing or having to try hard to kill whole rooms of people.

Watched it last night, one of the top three best movies this year, IMO.

I really enjoyed wolverines time in Japan in the comics, as for the movie I thought it was completely average nothing about me struck it as amazing, but alot of it struck me as bad.

They better listen to fans this time before writing the sequel.
