DESCRIPTION
A staple weapon of the Yautkan species, wrist blades are considered a cultural rit of passage, in which young yautkan are expected to manufacture their own, and then embark on a hunt, in order to become an adult. The blades to the form of retractable serrated blades roughly 05 meters in length, which extend over the back of the wearer's hand from a gauntlet worn on the wrist. Traditionally, warriors wear a single gauntlet fitted with a pair of parallel blades on their dominant wrist.

Wearing one of these items is incompatible with armour attachments worn on the same wrist.

A simple weapon, they are nonetheless brutally effective, and can tear through flesh and bone with ease, much like any other vibroweapon. They are considered one of the most honourable weapons in Yautkan culture.

LEGALITY
This weapon is considered illegal on most civilised words due to its concealed nature.

INTENT
To add a wrist-held bladed cultural weapon for the Yautkan species.

RESTRICTIONS
As a cultural weapon, this item can only be used by Yautkan. If stolen, it is advisable to avoid Yautkan warriors whilst this is in your possession.

Wouldn’t this serve more as an armor function more than a standalone weapon if it’s worn? I think that’s how combat wrist blades (not concealed) have been treated before. But I like the balance of not allowing armor on the wrist where it is located.

I went for a weapon as they could then be worn without armour on at all - for example if the Yautkan wielder decided to fight a little 'more traditionally' 🙂

I guess it works the same way the Matukai gauntlets do the way Norbs is submitting them in a sense. Though seeing how you have to not wear any wrist armor with it, I'd recommend you specify that it can resist lightsabers and the such as to balance it out, assuming it wasn't your intention already, which would allow them to be a main weapon in a melee fight instead of only a bigger, meaner retractable blade.
