Coruscant was dark as ever, but every corner of it's streets were filled with life. Though the up and coming crime boss hadn't expected to take a detour, her ship was running low on fuel. Grace's initial plan was to visit her home world of Anaxes, and pull all the credits from her bank account there. With the return of the Zann Consortium, she would need to move her assets to the outer rim. Establishing black markets out there would be her goal.

While refueling stations on the upper level of Coruscant were full at the time, her Skippray-Blastboat would find a service station on level 3627. It was strange that she had to descend this low to find a simple fuel station... "Miss Zann, we've finally landed. I'll prepare the ramp." Her droid would lower a metal ramp, and would open the ship's primary side door. Grace was not the type to be spooked by seedy environments, her entire business was seedy environments. This particular level of the city world appeared to be a ripe industrial center and storage area. It was dark and dimly lit like most areas of the planet, but it was better kept than the lowest levels.

The woman would speak to her nikto mercenary bodyguard from across the vessel, "Havvs. Get the ship refueled, I'm going to go have a look around." A defeated "Yeah, yeah, I'll get it done Gracie..." would come in response. Stepping outside the ship, she would see a multitude of both blue collar workers along with loader droids all around the area.

The various groups appeared to be working for several different companies, all hauling various products to different parts of the level. She would take a moment to walk down the streets of this industrial sector, but would quickly overhear a conversation between a couple workers there. "Hey, did you hear what happened to Big Frank's Durasteel last week? They say some gang hit a shipment of durasteel beams. They blew up the transport speeder's repulsor lifts and robbed the driver..." The other worker would simply shake his head "Dangerous times, dangerous times..."

Intrigued about this local gang activity, the woman would approach the pair. "I don't mean to intrude... But what can you tell me about this gang? Does anyone know where to find them...?" This little detour might just be a chance to make a big profit.

Juno had been out of the house a lot more recently. Some of it was gang-related and some were for the benefit of her own plans, but today it was because Sam had pretty much kicked her and Tess out to spend some "quality" with their new side piece. She wanted to be upset about it, but the girl was secretly glad she was out and about. It was nice to get some not-so-fresh air now and then.

As for why she was on Level 3627, it had something to do with her dozing off on a lift and ending up getting kicked off by the lift-conductor an hour past her stop. The cyborg girl was minding her own business, passing the time by reading material on her datapad when she heard a woman inquire about gang activity nearby. Her eyes followed it to its source and spotted the brunette standing not too far away. Juno's interest was piqued, but there were two sorts that liked to ask that kind of question. The woman didn't look like a nose to her, but she could never know for sure.

"You lookin' to make or stop trouble?" The girl made her way over, catching curious glances from the dock workers.

As Grace heard the voice of the girl, she would look back to the workers, "Never mind fellas." Behind her would be a teenager with some of the brightest hair the woman had seen before. It also appeared that the girl was part cyborg, missing maybe a limb or two. Finding mods wasn't an uncommon thing across the galaxy. Especially not in the underbelly of Courscant.

Closing her eyes, Grace would reach out with the force, attempting to see if she could get a read on this one right off the bat. That proved, difficult however, as whoever this kid was seemed to have many things conflicting about her. This left the girl a total enigma to the older woman, but the crime lord was curious about this gang.

"Directly approaching me...? You've got a lot to learn." Turning around fully, she would manage to get a much better look at the teen. This was indeed a true mod, was it done out of necessity or for other reasons though? That remained unknown.

"Let's say I was looking to make trouble, along with a few credits. Maybe you could make some as well. I won't be on Coruscant for long, and I don't plan on returning for a while. So tell me then, what's a girl do for fun around here?"

"Would you prefer me to stare you down until you decided to ask my issue?" Juno commented dryly, completely unamused with the woman's patronizing statement. It became very obvious very quickly to the girl that Grace was no nose, and evidently quite confident in whatever position she thought she assumed. Whether it was justified, Juno would have to find out.

A small red light appeared in the pupil of her cybernetic eye for about three seconds, then disappeared thereafter as Grace continued to speak. Juno looked vaguely annoyed and a bit standoffish.

"I can't help you with whatever gang you're looking for but cut the superiority complex and I might know one or two fun activities 'round here." There was no way in hell she'd continue this conversation if some off-worlder was going to act like she knew more than Juno.

Brash, arrogant, not they type of person Grace would usually run with. The teen did have some interesting qualities to her, and plenty of other hired guns had her same boldness. If she wanted to become a true crime lord someday, then she would have to temper her boldness with respect. Not a lesson she would want to hear, especially evident by her second statement of Grace having a superiority complex, though that may have been true to an extent.

"Heh. Alright, your turf, you're the boss. I'm pretty handy in a fight, and I'm no stranger to dangerous situations... Like I said, I don't come to Courscant often. If you need a big job done, I'm game."

Grace only hoped that Havvs and B-3 had some patience, whatever came next would probably take a while.

Juno felt a small pang of satisfaction when Grace relented. "Recruiting a total stranger to cause trouble was not the plan I had in mind for today." Hopefully Sam and Tess didn't miss her too much.

"Okay, well, first things first, mind the dock workers on this level. They'll rat you out quicker than a spunk will malfunction." Juno paused, looked thoughtful for a moment, then changed her mind. "Actually, mind them all. Corpos pay them extra to be snitches, 'less that's the sort of work you're wantin' into." She eyed Grace suspiciously, then decided she had nothing to worry about. The woman didn't seem like a nose.

"Speakin' of, you heard of Level Tech?" If not, Juno'd give her the rundown. They had a monopoly on the technology used to monitor shipping between levels, which meant they had an in with the shipping companies. It turned out they had a warehouse on this level, and though Juno hadn't planned to do anything about that knowledge today, an extra set of hands might change that.

Plus, there was money in stolen tech. That wasn't what she was after, but the offworlder probably wanted creds.

The lower levels of Courscant were interesting to say the least. Just by the way Juno spoke about things, Grace could tell this particular world was far different from others. Usually, corporations left criminals to the law, it's why it was so easy for them to operate. But, if the corps actually assisted the police, then Grace would be surprised that any gang could survive around here... At the same time however, it made sense that they would want to protect their investments.

"Mind them all then... Certainly new to me." She would say, somewhat concerned now. Even still, she would listen to the young girl speak. The woman would however give a confused look at the mention of 'level tech' not a term the crime boss would be familiar with.

"Level tech... It's a new name." Of course, she would be promptly educated... "Alright, I'd bet they have a lot of credits. What's your plan?"
