Known Criminal Goes Crazy in Coronet City
Kills six, injures dozens more.
Zyyk, a Wookiee, a known criminal on charges of assault, arson, grand theft, and possession of an illegal weapon killed 6 during a killing spree in Coronet City last night. As of print time the cause of the attacks were unknown. The Wookiee was eating dinner at a restaurant in the Business District last night with an apparent employer, Cal Rebo, a succesful banker, when the Wookiee left for a few minutes to go to his speeder parked in an alley way a few blocks down. When he came back, "He was armed to the teeth with weapons." a survivor said. He then went on a shooting spree that killed six and injured at least 35 people. He was taking into custody by Coronet Security fifteen minutes later while still shooting. It was believed that Cal Rebo wished to hire Ryyk to be his bodyguard. Rebo himself died in the shooting. Sergeant Pickens, a member of the squad that captured Ryyk said, "It was weird because we were electrocuting him with tasers, shooting him, even attempting to tackle him, but he wouldn't stop.
