Though the chair hit his master square in the chest, Chester could tell the attack hadn't slowed down his master. The chair was quickly thrown back at him with a quick burst of telekinetic energy from his master. Holding his lightsaber directly in front of him, Chester cut the chair with an awkward stroke, severing it into two smaller pieces that were propelled across the room.

Deactivating his lightsaber, Chester clipped the weapon on his belt and addressed his master. "My apologies, master. My actions - the chair-kicking included - must've been instinctive, it's not everyday that you have a Jedi attacking you with a lightsaber."

"And no one has told you to clip your lightsaber." Moving fast towards the uncautious student, Vizza swung his lightsaber rapidly in a motion that would burn the chest of his student if he didn't move. Nothing more then a burn, due to the low current of the saber.

"Gah!" only a quick grunt came from Chester as the lightsabser hit his mark - square in the chest of the young Padawan. Gasping, he quickly realized he wasn't dead, and he sighed a quick, almost instantaneous sigh of relief.

Grasping his azure lightsaber, he lit the weapon and charged at his master. Almost on instinct, he performed a Force-empowered leap to land near his master. Now almost a meter away, Chester swung the cerulean blade at the Zabrak Knight, aiming high; if his blow landed it would practically sever his master's right arm.

As Chester acted, Vizza watched carefully his movements lest he'd be severely hurt. Chester had yet to adjust his lightsaber power...and Vizza didn't properly warn him too. It wasn't a problem; Chester wasn't too experienced yet. Oh damn, that might be a problem then! What if he hurted himself?

Performing a parry while crouching, he tried to telekinetic stop his lightsaber hand from moving, though he wasn't sure if it would hold. "You might want to adjust the power of the lightsaber to a less dangerous level... we don't want to kill each other."

As Chester's arm froze in place, he tried to break free almost immediately. After Vizza pointed out his weapon was still on its maximum power level, Chester quickly weakened it to a harmless level; the weapon would now leave little more than burn or scathe.

"Done," he said, quickly.

As the Force-empowered barrier weakened around Chester's weapon arm, he calmly lowered his weapon, though kept it activated, and prepared for any more sudden attacks.

"Okaaaay!" Vizza seemed to be enjoying this awefully too much. With his eyes on Chester's, he kept talking. "Now, I will teach you the most valuable part of your training. It is most likely what will define you as a jedi... if my predictions are correct. I will teach you in the arts of Ataru." Walking in circle around Chester, he took couple steps before proceeding. "You will have to touch the Force, and imbue your body with it. You'll have to be faster, more agile, a true acrobat. You will encase your adversary in you shadow as you move around him, trapping him in his own defense as you mercilessly fight your wait into an opening. When that opening comes, it's already to late for your adversary." Gripping thightly the hilt of his lightsaber, he looked at Chester. "Do you think you are up to it, Chester?"

Chester beamed; smiling a wide smile that expressed his clear excitement. "Of course, master. I will get stronger. I feel the Force coming more naturally to me as we train, so my connection shouldn't hinder my progress. I'm ready to learn the art of Ataru, and I understand what I must do to learn it."

Holding his weapon at chest's-height pointed directly at his master, he allowed a somber expression to cross his face, and quickly calmed himself to remove any distracting or anxious thoughts that might cause him to falter. "At your ready, master."

Upon hearing the words of his padawan, Vizza's lips curled up in a grin. A wide one... his padawan seemed to finally be embracing his destiny, becoming a weapon for the light side. Well... at least Vizza hoped so. It would be bad if another one of his padawans started to walk his foot steps to the not so white side.

Bah, Vizza dismissed this thought. After all, Chester seemed willing to be a careful, "think first act later" kind of Jedi. A bit boring, but surely the most safe. It'd be dangerous otherwise... right? Raising his lightsaber wielding arm slowly, so that the tip of his lightsaber met Chester's in a slow motion, he let the lightsabers hiss against each other for few seconds while glaring defiently at Chester, as if trying to transmite to him a sensation of the two of them being in equal footing, which they weren't... yet.

"If it was at my ready, then we'd be fighting ever since I laid a hand on your shoulder. I'm not trying to sound alarmist... but you should be on your toes. You never know when someone might try something nifty on you, even with the 6th sence that comes with being touched by the Force." He twisted his wrist right then left, hard, so that the blades disconneted for a second before comming hard again against the blade of Chester.

Chester watched his Master's blade spark against his, the hissing of their blades as they intersected was almost surreal. Chester's own azure blade was holding its place, though Chester could tell that a follow-up maneuver was coming. Holding his ground, Chester watched as his master twisted his wrist and moved the weapon away from its position.

Then Vizza's green blade came toward his weapon again, so Chester utilized a Force-empowered leap over the swipe and over his master; the young Padawan kept his blade low while he flew over Vizza, however, fearing an anti-aerial attack. Landing behind his master, Chester thrust his blade toward his master's back.
