Sorry, I don't want to disturb you guys, but I had a thought:

If you can hold the mines in the cargo hold, then use the ship holding them as kamikaze. Just throw it in the direction of Tala's thingies and blow that bitch sky-high ("the bitch" being the ship, not Tala. I saw the confusion unfolding as I typed)

That seems pretty cheaty considering it's up in the air whether they have mines at all, it would destroy Prudii's ships, which I can't really see him doing, as well as them just happening to still be around even after they weren't deployed.

It's kinda cheaty that there is zero mention of these mines being banned in any rules, and the only way that anyone would know that they were banned would be to troll through an OOC thread that I'm not part of. That's what feels cheaty to me. I feel that it's fair if we can't use the Empion mines because they were banned(but not stated as banned) then we should be able to use another form of mine.

I'm saying a bunch standard mines in someone's cargo bay would be nothing more than several tonnes of static (yet devastating) explosive lying around. If not strictly deployable, that doesn't mean entirely unusable. Idk it was simply a thought I had whilst reading.

It was requested earlier for only thread participants and admins to comment here, as well as a ruling having all ready been made on the subject.

Loco brought it up with me previously. I've disallowed it and suggested alternatives.

To all of the above: We've established that we can't use the mines in any capacity, and whatever peoples feelings on that ruling are it is still just that- a ruling. I've discussed our options with Boli and we've adjusted the plan accordingly. We're just waiting for Kex to get back on, read over and agree with the plan, and then I'll edit my post accordingly so Prudii can post.

I've reached out to Dan to specify which ship Tala is on, but he refuses to. I believe he needs to before combat breaks out so he can't just go "lol wrong ship". We won't be using meta knowledge, and with Boli watching so closely if we were to it would be slapped down.

I have a list of reasons why I don't feel I should. However, if I do have to then I certainly will.

1.) If I had known combat would occur, then I would certainly have stated which ship I was in. But with the original presumption this wouldn't have combat, I didn't see it as necessary.

2.) Doing so would either be OOC, which doesn't count IC, or i'd have to edit my former post with the information, but my posting turn has already passed.

3.) I honestly don't trust that information to not be abused. Considering the three are out to kill my PC here, and are willing to go to great lengths IC and OOC to do it, I don't see why they wouldn't use it.

Again, if I have to then I certainly will. But these are my reasons for not.

3) I already stated we wouldn't, plus we have boli closely watching to safeguard for that.

The lack of specificity is easily abusable; I feel if nothing else that Boli should know, as I trust Boli to enforce accountability.

I'm already monitoring the meta knowledge being used, and am in contact with Boli as far as valid options and am mediating ideas on my end. So really there won't be any abuse of meta knowledge.
