Note please think of this as a brand new man, so let's give the man a chance.

What are the thoughts of some of the people on what he has said and done. Please know things from Conway can't fully represent the man though it's funny hearing her say alternative facts. Anyway also another note Hillary is no longer in the running so yea. Please be civil and remember so long as you live in America trump is your president no matter what you may think of the man. Does that mean you have to like him though? Nope that's his job to make you like him, so let's give him a chance and see what happens.

Also 'Damnit Donald' is so going to be a thing. So let's make sure it happens, a good way of replacing the 'thanks Obama.'

Don't like him, no track record to go off.
I'll comment again when his first 100 days is over.

While I'm a Conservative-Leaning Libertarian and I am glad a Republican is in office, I am sad that that person is Donald Trump. Further, I don't like that we only had 2 basically bad choices. You either got Hillary, a horrible hypocritical woman who may or may not have medical problems, or Trump, a sexist racist man who may or may not have mental problems. I was one of the few people who were so fed up with the system we protest vote. Yes, I'm looking at us, Gary Johnson supporters, and you, Jill Stein supporters. Yes, our vote was in fact a protest vote. I mean, as much as I hate to say it, neither Johnson nor Stein had any real chance of winning. I know, I know, we got swept up in being "a part of history" with electing the first third party president since Lincoln, but lets face it folks, we got duped. Our votes were a waste! Johnson didn't get the 5 percent needed to be recognized as a major party, and neither did Stein. So next year folks, let's nominate better Republicans and Democrats, so we won't have to look towards people who have no chance at winning.

Well as soon as he was sworn in: LGBTQ, climate change control and many other links were deleted from the white house, which are all things that I am a massive supporter of. (The Paris climate change agreement was only signed last year and he's instantly getting rid of it!)

+ He's not even a politician.
The only thing that I can see him being good for is making deals, considering he's a businessman/low IQ wotsit (the British version of a Cheeto) with a lot of money.

I am going to be brutally honest and say that I hate it when people say we should "give Trump a chance."

The man left his business to his kids, with the only reassurance that he won't be talking to them being a legal aide that he hired. And he's still taking money from his positions in these companies. He continued to establish businesses in other countries while on the campaign trail, and in all likelihood even after winning. He's already pissed off China by talking to Taiwan and they have our economy by the short hairs. He's a thin-skinned, bigoted authoritarian who chose an equally repugnant running mate for his VP. All of his cabinet picks are the worst breeds of crazy or corrupt. His Secretary of Education believes that public schools shouldn't exist and supports Christian private schools as standard. He's lining up people from Goldman-Sachs, Exxon-Mobile, and Hardy's to be in his administration for crying out loud. Plus with total Republican control of the Congress and the Supreme Court he's got Carte Blanche for the next four years.

Mark me down right now, this is going to be the most corrupt, regressive, authoritarian excuse for an administration in American history

This gonna be an awful four years. : (
Well a 2/3 majority vote in Congress can actually remove him from power if he does something extremely stupid that will probably end in ww3, but it has never been done before...

let's give the man a chance.

Nope.

He's the same Trump now that we saw on the campaign trail, and I have little reason to believe he will change. He slings insults and lies casually (which are accepted as infallible truth by the narrow demographic which voted for him), as do the rest of his cronies, and takes to Twitter to engage in spats with people who say mean things (i.e. - "corrupt media").

I really could go off on a several paragraph long tangent outlining all the reasons I hate this man, but I will just say that I will not be giving him a chance.

You can ways get rid of him, and get a Governor instead.

13 Colonies is much better than 'United States'.

The only thing I truly care about, Net Neutrality, is in extreme danger and is almost 100% going to be cut because Donald shilled out to the big media companies. So I don't particularly like him, but I hope other than the fact that America will soon have an internet system compared to China, in which sites are blocked and held behind paywalls, he'll do fine.

As much as I dislike Trump, I also worry that Pence would be even worse if Trump was impeached or retired from office.

So I'm kind of hoping for everyone's sake that the US has an incompetent yet uneventful Trump presidency followed by deep defeat and the rise of a new, more stable Democrat president next election.

I've yet to make up my mind about Trump, but I know for sure that I'm worried about his cabinet.

I think the Scottish herald summed up my thoughts about all of this rather well:
Damier Love of the "Sunday Scottish Herald" said:
After a long absence, The Twilight Zone returns with one of the most ambitious, expensive and controversial productions in broadcast history. Sci-fi writers have dabbled often with alternative history stories – among the most common is the “What If The Nazis Had Won The Second World War” setting – but this huge interactive virtual reality project, which will unfold on TV, in the press, and on Twitter over the next four years, sets out to build an ongoing alternative present. The story begins in a nightmarish version of 2017 in which huge sections of the US electorate have somehow been duped into voting to make Donald Trump president. It sounds far-fetched, and it is, but as it goes on it becomes more and more chillingly plausible. Today’s feature-length opener concentrates on the gaudy inauguration of President Trump, and the stirrings of protest and despair surrounding the ceremony, while pundits speculate gravely on what lies ahead. It’s a flawed piece, but a disturbing glimpse of the horrors we could stumble into, if we’re not careful.

In all seriousness, I don't know which to be more worried about: his cabinet or him. Watching the confirmation hearings for his cabinet members was just appalling, so I thought they were going to be the worst—and don't even get me started on his vice-president, Pence. But then I turn on the TV this morning and hear him address taxes with a group of businessmen and, once again, his statements were unintelligible. It's like the man can't speak in coherent thoughts. So now I'm more worried about him.

I'm sure the next four years will be a constant back and forth about who to worry about the most.

The wall poses immense environmental risks, but of course stopping immigration is more important.

Shame a wall doesn't stop people overstaying visas and tunnels under the ground. Or ships and planes. And won't be paid by Mexico.

Ultimately I don't see it being built. Politicians don't want to inform voters taxes will increase to pay for it or go to war with it (Mexico will tolerate US cutting aid because aid is in millions while the wall would cost billions and I doubt other nations will help pressure Mexico over a wall. Trump already secured his escape route earlier this week during a speech when he said "if we go that route". Meaning when he's occupied the nation with some other random overblown issue he'll likely quietly remove orders for a wall.
