I can feel the call of the Force. Today is the day. I cover myself with robes, and make sure that my lightsaber is attached to my belt. It's curved hilt and special grip feel confident against my thigh, even though I do not depend upon it. I walk out of the door, and go to where my master called me to be. It is a training room, with many areas for many trainings. But at that moment I am waiting for my master to arrive.

Rev stared out in disbelief that was the city before him, Coruscant. Watching a lone man, a Twi'lek tainted by a dark blue skin and black jumpsuit hanging from the building adjacent to the temple. He would appear as a dot to any normal being, especially with the Temple resting so high in comparison to the rest of the structures that littered the metropolis. This was thanks to his enhanced senses, Rev's eyes had narrowed in on the brown jump suited man who was hard at work scrubbing a window of one of the hundreds if not thousands of Republic buildings.

Turning on his heel he stared at the device that lay on the table of his quarters. Sighing at the time, he never was a man of early arrival... or even an on time arrival. Smirking at his own fault he walked to the door, reaching across his body he called to the lightsaber that laid next to the clock and it was pulled to his masculine hand, then clipped to the brown belt at his hip. Sliding his hand over the terminal parallel to the door it hissed up into the framework and he slipped out of the room. Making light conversation with students, knights, and Master's alike as he walked through the populace that was the Jedi temple he couldn't help but soon find himself in front of the training room door that his newest pupil awaited him in, Collin Donnor. Pushing the heavy door open he stared in at the young man and flashed him a friendly smile.

"Greetings Collin, I apologize for my late arrival. As you will soon learn a Jedi has many duties, and it is often these duties get in the way of scheduled events."

He laughed to himself and walked to the center of the training room looking around at it's bland features that seemed almost too subtle, but above all it was tranquil; the perfect classroom to teach an acolyte of the Jedi principles.

"It is alright Master, I did not expect to be tought very promptly. It is nice you got here a little after the time chosen instead of several hours late." I began sizing up my new master. His strength in the Force was evident, and the lightsaber clipped to his belt had to have seen some use. More than mine.

"In what way would you like to start training?"

Staring at Collin, this boy seemed unusual, he was unlike most he had trained in the past. Something about him radiated a presence, an almost oddity, that seemed out of place; though it somehow made sense that it was there. Crossing his own arms, Rev, looked at this boy, it was apparent by the look he had just received, Collin, was attempting to read his teacher.

"We will start shortly Collin, we will start with some simple questions, then move onto the ways of the Force, if you feel you are ready at that point."

Taking in a deep breath he pulled the cloak to his form a little tighter, the room had a slight chill to it, comfortable of course, but still enough to send a chill up ones spine if they didn't respect the artificial climate.

"Why is it you wish to become a Jedi? What drives you, Collin?"

"To create peace, to promote the love of peace and of the Force. To ensure people do not fall underneath oppression." I begin trying to feel Master Rev's Force aura, it was light as expected and rather 'pretty'.

"I will not force people to change for the better, but I would apply pressure."

Rev nodded at Collin, he had a good heart, but his ideas were not those of the Jedi, at least not yet. He would develop his own philosophy as each Jedi would do throughout their lifetime, but they must adhere to the followings of the Jedi to ever get that far.

"Remember Collin, the Jedi are peacekeepers. We promote the neutrality of the Republic, and we act as defenders. We can offer aid to those, and to others we cannot... Each action one makes in this Universe has repercussions. It is good to enact peace, wellness, and overall good to people in our Galaxy, but we cannot always help."

He offered a friendly smile, he was not lecturing him in any way shape or form, simply showing him what stepping into a situation can or cannot do.

"I understand, Master." I move to the right of Rev, and bring my hand up to shake. "I hope this training goes well."

Staring at the boys hand he firmly took it and gave it a crisp shake. The boy had respect, which was good, most Padawans he had trained in the past failed to show any gratitude for the training they would receive. Though most by the end had changed their mentality and become quite grateful.

"If you can follow directions and put 100% effort forth, then you should get through this training quite quickly."

Crossing his arms his right hand came to his chin, stroking the patch of hair that had grown there for years. Pondering where to begin a question came to the Jedi Master's mind.

"Tell me Collin, what do you know of the Force? Anything at all, or simply that it exists..?"

"I know as much as I can at my age. It is the thing that gives us our power and allows us to do our duty. It binds everything together in the universe, and grants us abilities beyond those of the normal peoples of our many species." Collin took a breathe. "I believe it is the path of the Force that gives us strength, which is why I have trained little in the use of sabers."

Rev nodded at the boys response, it was apparent this one was already down the path of a Counselor, the polar opposite of what the Jedi Master before him had been. Smiling at this he gave him an acknowledging nod.

"Good, then you have a grasp on which class of Jedi you will become, even if you should not know those choices. Along with this, your handle on the Force itself is far beyond many I have trained, shall we begin then?"

Walking to the center of the room, with a motion of his hand the datapad on the wall beeped out as a series of buttons had been pushed in with the invisible presence. Looking over at Collin, then back to the center of the room an object rose out of the floor. Staring at this framework that would be a training device it looked much like a swing set. Instead of the typical swings many would find children playing on, there were various objects tied with durasteel chain. The first was simply the chain, the second had a focusing lens to an irreparable lightsaber, and the final had a large clay pot hanging from it. Walking to Collins side he motioned to the object before him.

"This will allow you to practice various basic principles of the Force. The first task I ask of you is a Force Push. Focus on the chain and feel yourself reaching out to the object, as you take hold of it through the Force you will feel a presence deep within your being almost asking you what you wish. This is the Force speaking to you Collin, millions of medichloreans fill your body, these are what carry the Force as I'm sure you know. Command a blast of air and it will be at your whim. Give it a try, it may be scattered at first pushing all the objects, but with time your focus and control of the Force will only grow. Give it a shot."

He offered a reassuring smile before taking a step back and watching what was about to happen.

Collin, as with many training sessions he had, focused on his hand. Then he sent that focus out to the air around it, and all things in it. He saw the many little bacteria in his minds' eye, and then set his focus on the air around them. Collin then sent them moving at the chain. It moved like a whip, being drawn up before coming down in a swift motion.

Rev watched the focus of his Padawan and smiled, he was quite skilled in the art of the Force for just beginning. This would be a quick training he had hoped, but if it took time, there was no demeaning in that. Nodding with approval he motioned to the following objects.

"Good, continue down the line until you have moved each individual object, then move them all if you will, Collin."

He motioned for the boy to begin, a look that lacked expression on the man's face.

Collin nodded with this new order and lifted his hand at the next object. He focused on that object and the air around it, then pushed it like he had done to the first chain. It swung hard, but not as hard as the first one.

He moved his hand over to the next object, the pot. He noticed it was heavier and would require more concentration. But, like he had the first two objects, Collin focused on the air around the pot, and sent it flying. At first it was a simple push with barely any motion, but Collin wouldn't have any of it. He did it again with more pressure, and the pot went flying right off the chain, smackdab into the wall. It shattered and a look of concern crossed Collin's face.

"I'm sorry Master, I didn't mean to break the pot."

Rev's arms became uncrossed and he walked over to that datapad. Pushing in a few commands a wall in the east side wall slid open and a protocol droid walked out. Watching as the metallic being began cleaning up the mess the Jedi Master couldn't help but smile at his apprentice.

"Don't apologize my young friend, it is apparent that the pot wasn't fixated as it should be. Let's move on to something a little different."

Motioning back to the two empty chains and the broken focusing lens he spoke once more.

"Now attempt the opposite, only I would like you to focus on the two empty chains, pull them towards you, of course the structure is fixated to the ground so they won't physically come to you. Try not to break anything this time around, Collin."

He offered a friendly laugh before motioning for the boy to start.

"I'll do my best."

He couldn't help but smile as well, so he went back to his work with some happiness. Collin focused on the two chains, and imagined them coming at him. One began to move, and then the next one started to move. In seconds they were both rising rapidly, in step with eachother.

((Sorry didn't see you posted))

Rev watched as the chains slowly went into motion before finally rising to their peak. This boy was a quick learner, for never trying he had a good handle on the Force, that was easily apparent. Offering a few soft claps to the lad, he motioned for him to take a rest as he was sure this was fatiguing the Padawan.

"Goodjob Collin, you are quite ahead of most I have trained, this would have taken days."

He laughed and motioned for the boy to follow him to the balcony now.

"Thank you master." Collin answered for the small praise. He then followed Rev out to the balcony.

Looking to Collin Rev then looked upward. There was another balcony above them, smirking at the thought of what was about to go through his Padawan's mind he gave him words of wisdom.

"Allow your energy to replenish before attemping this my Padawan."

He then jumped upwards nearly 40 feet before landing on the ledge of the balcony and looking down at his pupil. There was a balcony every ten feet for the boy to practice should he need it.

Collin took a deep breath before looking up. He closed his eyes and felt the air flow past his face. Then he jumped up to the first blacony and landed on the edge.

His arms flailed for a moment to regain balance, and then he front flipped into a better footing. Collin looked around then patted his body down. He was slightly shocked, but now got used to the idea of jumping up and down a tall building.

Collin jumped up again onto the second balcony. Then he looked up and focused heavily. Collin jumped into the air, the Force and hope his only source of fuel. He landed safely next to Rev on one knee, his foot, and his hands.

He stood and wiped himself off. "How exhilarating."

Staring at Collin he offered him a smile, it was good to see him progressing so quickly. Looking down at the balcony they had come from he gave him a nod.

"This is different, you must send a Force push at ground before you come in contact with it, if you don't your legs can easily break from under you. This task is all about timing, you can do this with a simple Force Push at the ground a few seconds before impact, or you can dissipate the Force push through your feet as you hit the ground, absorbing the hit in your legs and letting the Force Sensitivity within you 'aborb' the blow."

Jumping down he sailed through the air, the wind cutting at his body. This caused his robes to flail like a flag in the wind. Seconds before hitting the ground he sent a Force Push at the balcony. Hitting the ground with a subtle impact he looked up and gave Collin the okay.
