The Arts of Jedi (Collin Donnor's Training)

[Trakon]

"I wish to learn more on how to use my lightsaber. My previous teacher taught me the all around form of Makashi, and then she passed on. I had yet to delve into the specific movements that are only related to that Form."

 

[Rev]

Rev nodded, this aspect of training he had a passion for, using the lightsaber as a tool as opposed to a weapon. Though knowing the blade could be deadly was something all Jedi had to learn. Reaching to his own his he withdrew his lightsaber. Clicking the activator the blade hissed to life, a purple hue filling the room. Giving his blade a twist he spoke out to Collin.

"Maintain the basic principles of Makashi as I attack. They will be slow, just be wary of your own movements with the blade, my Padawan!"

Chopping down at Collin's right shoulder after he got set he awaited the young Jedi's response.

 

[Trakon]

Collin reached up and tapped Rev's blade with enough force so it would pass his body, then he took a step back.

 

[Rev]

Rev spun on his heel the blade cutting clockwise and coming at Collin's right shoulder. The attack had a bit more speed behind it and much more force. It would be up to Collin to focus and maintain his handle on his surroundings and the blade of his attacker.

 

[Trakon]

Collin allowed the Force to flow into his arm, giving him some more strength. Rev's blade struck his own, and they stopped. Collin used the energy that remained, and twisted around, similar to Rev, although he went for the midsection instead of shoulder.

 

[Rev]

Feeling the bounce off Collin had made against his own blade he dropped his left foot back. Spinning his blade around he felt it smack against Collin's saving his own mid section. Allowing the hilt spin in his hand again the blade returned to its starting point.

Dropping back he lept forward, cutting his own blade down at Collin's right collarbone.

 

[Trakon]

Collin ducked below the cut that was aimed at his collar bone, and to his right a little. He reached out in a attempt to stab Rev.

 

[Rev]

Dropping his right foot back as his attack was dodged he cut his blade down, it would slap the stab to his right as well, nearly grazing his leg he had so expertly moved aside. Stepping back with his left foot it was as if he were in a 'southpaw' stance. Twirling the blade he cut it quick and hard at his Padwan's knees.

 

[Trakon]

Collin rolled to Rev's left, and slashed at his feet.

 

[Rev]

Force pushing at the ground he Force jumped at the same instant. Floating through the air as he flipped backwards he threw his lightsaber at Collin. The blade twirled with unimaginable speed at his padawan's midsection.

 

[Trakon]

Collin on the ground could think of only one thing: Force Pull. His hand shot up and he began to change the direction of the saber by fractions enough to miss him. He just barely got it right. Collin nearly lost his arm to the throw, instead burning a patch of skin and shirt off.

Collin stood as the lightsaber touched the ground, deactivating. His free hand pulled the saber into it with the Force, before floating it to Master Rev.

"Master, can we please try to not kill me? I would like to one day be a knight."

 

[Rev]

Rev couldn't help but smirk at his arrogance. It was a trait he passed onto his son, and a trait he had long carried, it teased him more often than not. Pushing it aside he bowed his head to Collin.

"My apologies Collin, it isn't often I get to spar with one of my Padawans... But know I have complete control of my blade. If it were out to kill, it would have done its job."

He half smiled before clipping the tool to his belt.

"You're nearly complete in your trainings, my Padawan."

 

[Trakon]

"Thank you very much Master." Collin bowed to Rev. "What is left to do? What trial must I complete now?"

 

[Rev]

Rev nodded and motioned for Collin to follow. Leading him out to the courtyard he looked around slowly. It was bright out, brighter than it usually seemed to be. Looking back at Collin he smiled at his Padawan.

"You will use all you have learned to complete your final task, and once you have completed it, you will be a Knight, my Padawan."

 

[Trakon]

"I understand Master." Collin looked over the courtyard and it's many objects of tranquility.

"The final task, what is it comprised of?"

 

[Rev]

"Use Force Sight..."

Those words dug into Collin's mind for only a half second before Rev enacted a Force talent, possibly his favorite. Force Blinding. A flash radiated from his hands that would either completely blind his Padawan momentarily, or if he used Force Sight in time would be forced to use the unique vision throughout the task. Upon the Force techniques action he looked to his right, a training bot coming down complete with dual vibro swords. Cutting at his Padawan in a rapid succession he would have to be on his toes if he wished to succeed.

[Trakon]

((Alrights. Is it one connected or two individual ones? The vibroblade))

Collin quickly used Force Sight, aware Master Rev just used another Force Power that could have halted his body's sight. He felt a warning in the Force, and immediantly turned his lightsaber on. Rigth then a being, a training bot jumped at him with two vibro swords. Collin's blade deftly struck the first two attacks away, and then he Force Jumped over the bot, spinning in air for any attacks it might bring against him.

 

[Rev]

((Two individual))

The droid cut at the air in a flurry as the student jumped over it. Turning slowly it's body pivoted on a ball bearing that allowed it to turn 360 degrees and still operate. The legs began their motions and moving towards Collin. Cutting at the boys throat with each blade in a left to right downward fashion it tried to decapitate the lad.

 

[Trakon]

Collin landed and then dodged to the right as the left blade came down, and the halted the right blade as it came at him. He lifted his free hand out a little, and sent a Force Push towards the nearbye droid.

 

[Rev]

The droid was smacked with a wave of the Force and allowed its pulsors to kick in, sending it upward. Flying up to a ledge it stopped and looked down at the Padawan. Firing a series of blasts at the young man blaster bolts cut the distance between the two. Three shots directed at his chest left arm and head are what were sent his way as the droid tried to keep Collin below it.
