As for the religion, remember Asian gods are not omnipotent nor creators. The original Chinese creation myth wasn't invented until much later in their history, and the creator deity is not a major deity in any Asian 'religion'. Chinese deities exist because they have attained Godhood by being the best people; each has attained Buddhahood, and either accepted or refused it. Those that refuse it in order to help enlighten mankind are Bodhisattva's. So your character wouldn't believe that deities are responsible for evil - evil is a part of yin and yang and is supposed to exist in balance. But they might believe that the Galaxy is filled with too much yin, which has created an imbalance in qi and its effects are felt everywhere. Therefore, your character might feel balancing the universe by killing the corrupt and evil is a worthy goal? Just a thought.

I've studied Chinese history a bit, I enjoy reading about it in my spare time. I've taken enough Chinese classes to know when Google is telling me something wrong, too, but not enough to hold myself up in a conversation. Plus, I have a bunch of Chinese friends, both from China and from the U.S., so I've spent a lot of time around Chinese culture. I find it to be a fascinating culture, so you could call me an Egg or a Sinophile... I tried pretty hard to make sure that the planet and culture were fair to all Asian cultures, so that anyone that wants to roleplay say, a samurai-ish character, shaolin monk, ninja, or anything else could do what they wanted.

I made that design specifically so anyone who wanted to could use it! ;) Feel free to grab it. I wanted to introduce some variety besides the standard YT-1300's and YT-2400's flying around.

The forum technically doesn't allow people to have ships over 100 meters (some exceptions can be made, but not many). If you're looking for something to live in and travel with, I'd recommend a Light Freighter. I wrote up this one myself because I liked the way it looked and I wanted to design the cheapest thing on the market (something a poor character could possibly own) It allows you space to live, a place to RP with others if you join a faction (such as to train Jedi Padawans when you're a Knight) and is also capable of travelling incognito.

As for the Vengea-class ship, I really liked it myself, but wasn't quite sure my Indie faction would have the resources for their own unique ships just yet. It's being saved for the future, in case they get the resources to build one.

Rook was a fun one, but she doesn't really have any place in my current stories. 'Tis a bummer. =\
