Deepest Dark
The Maw.
It is a constant in the Galaxy, a black hole that has endured for countless generations. An obstacle to be avoided at all costs, but a waypoint nonetheless for when everything else in the Galaxy changes, The Maw is a constant. Constantly deadly, constantly destroying, yes, but a constant in all the years gone and all the years to come.
But, for the first time in recorded history, something has changed within The Maw; gravitational forces are in a state of near constant flux and The Force alternates between the sweet song of the Light and the enraged screams of the Dark.
Space itself is ripped and torn, stations that had once observed it from a safe distance find themselves almost at the edge of the effects of these forces emitting from The Maw. The gap in the Galaxy seems to be changing and no one is quite sure why or what it means for the Galaxy.
Scientists from across the Galaxy have come, answering the call to a summit of intellectuals who are meeting at Maw Station 12. The furthest observation station from The Maw, it is deemed the safest place to discuss the changes to this natural phenomena.
But in these politically charges times, people are invited to act as security as representatives and scholars of both the Light and Dark side are encouraged to attend, to rub elbows with the most educated people in the Galaxy in an attempt to understand that which has been unknown for so long.
Who will answer the call to perceive the deepest of the dark corners of the Galaxy?
