He had begun to resign himself to instinct. Allowing his body to move on its own. Although it allowed him to be more receptive it did not quell his thoughts one bit. All that was running through is mind was a repeating pattern of, what do I do and am I doing this right.

His gaze never left her as she went down his body. Watching as she removed yet another article of clothing. She began moving back up his body and he could feel her body heat more intensely. Her gaze reminded him of a predator that had found its prey. Only thing was he was the prey in this situation. Then she guided his hands up to her bra strap before returning to kiss. He obviously struggled unclipping the bra seeming to be unable to for a little bit. He was about to just rip the damn thing off when he felt it give way and unfurl in his hands throwing it to the side.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him. “I’m not scared of you…. I’m simply worried that I’ll disappoint you.” He whispered back in between kisses. It was the first clear look into his thoughts he gave her. It was also a blaring hint to his inexperience.

His hands graced her back, his movements and touches more determined, yet the hocks a riddle on its own. He fumbled for them for a while, for a moment violently even, as if very keen on freeing her out of it as quickly as possible, but the way he simply filled with the tiny metal hooks made her once again realize that he wasn't exactly trained.

Maeve felt the urge to grab a cig, but she simply swallowed the thought, focusing on the task at hand: Taking the lead, given that he was relying on it. "You're doing just fine, relax", she ensured him quietly, before their lips collided again in an exchange of passion that was familiar to her.

Maybe it would be another favor he'd owe, another insurance she'd get, but she was definitely making their time spent together worth their time. She kept her senses open to any unfamiliar noises from outside and inside, but it seemed that while they were getting it on, the authorities were still busy looking for traces, oblivious to the fact that just a few meter further they'd find the culprits.

Maeve broke free from his arms just to work her way down again, wanting to free him of the last layer of clothing while she ensured she wouldn't just anything - she enjoyed the teasing and he was the perfect subject for that as she was curious to see what he still had up his sleeve - or how creative he could get.

The longer they continued the more his instincts took over. Her words of assurance followed by another round of kissing made him relax more. He still was focused on making sure he didn't do anything wrong. Trying to follow her lead so that she might enjoy it too.

He was only focusing on the here and now. If someone was to come in he would be caught with his pants down. The leg pain had pretty much all but gone away. She then broke free from his grip. He watched her begin making her way down again though this time with a different intention. He looked at her desire written all across his face, a small pray being said to the old gods in his head. In a final hurrah of Mandalorian bravado before he gets slapped back to reality. "I've faced tougher challenges than you." A small smirk forming.

She moved like a lioness circling her antelope, however slowly began to notice that he was finally easily in her presence. He wasn't as tense, his eyes no longer widened like he was about to be eaten and he moved more naturally too, melting into their embrace before she carried on by removing the last piece of fabric on her.

"Now that's better...", she whispered once again, her voice low and her eyes glistening in the dim light before she'd not only find a way to make time pass incredibly fast for him, but give him a special experience that wouldn't find anything comparable so soon.

-

Maeve had no qualms with making his time worth his while, enjoy herself and maintain a certain level of attention, but once they'd finish, she'd roll over slightly breathlessly before she'd check on the window. There were a few speeders around, the remaining authorities seemingly finishing up and expanding their search to the outer ring of the city.

Perhaps they monitored the spaceports, too, but given that they didn't plan on flying tonight and that there was no evidence left, she figured they'd be fine. She rolled back onto the bed, giving him a painful smirk as she asked, "how's the leg?". Perhaps the workout had helped a little too, otherwise the pill would have worked its magic, but it seemed like they'd get the chance to leave soon enough. "What you did there...I have no clue what you've done or where you've picked that up, but it was wild". And oddly good. She had no idea where he had learned it and whether it was a Mando thing, but it had been...innovative.

This was certainly a mission he wouldn't forget. He felt as if he had died and gone to heaven. He watched as she rolled over to check the window. He didn't know why but for some reason the moonlight made her look beautiful, more than before. He continued gazing at her as she rolled back unto the bed and inquired about his leg. "I think stretching it out during the workout helped." A slight smirk followed.

She remarked about something he had done causing him to rummage through the events to find it. Suddenly he remembered that he had used a Mandalorian wrestling technique. "I just felt it was the right thing to do." Shrugging his mind wondering if he could use other combat techniques as well. He would roll over and sit up slowly putting on his armor again. Doing so made him realize he was sore in places he'd never been sore before. This really was like a workout. He would then turn to her as he put on his helmet. "I'll do a perimeter check call me on the comms when you get situated." Just like that he was back in work mode on the exterior at least.

She couldn't help but to chuckle at his reply, somehow fitting. "Was that something you learned in Mando school?", she asked playfully as she began putting her clothes back on. It had been something for sure. She had seen a lot, tried a lot, but that had been new. And oddly enough, it had been damn good. It made her smirk again and she figured her idea hadn't been bad after all.

She was actually quite happy with him just springing back to work as it gave her time to prepare for the rest of their mission accordingly as well. She started with re-ordering her chems and then started checking on the situation outside before she'd start looking through the rooms on their level, her phone screen the only illumination she used as she didn't want to shed too much late. They still had to stay undetected, but their time to move was soon. She'd wait for him to return before they could get going.

Her question threw him off. Did she know? "No they don't teach things like that in school." Though it wasn't a complete lie he still felt bad. He methodically scanned the building for any signs of entry. He didn't notice anything out of the blue. He began making his way back to the room. He had to get them away from the area and quickly. As she walked out of the last room she would see the Mandalorian waiting for her though he wasn't able to be heard coming to her. His gauntlet display had a diagram of his jetpack and a fuel bar that was about 90% full.

Holding out his hand for her. "Grab my hand and turn off the phone I have a plan to get us out of here." If she grabbed it he would lead her down the stairs. It would be the only time he noticeably limped. Once on the ground level he would pry free a door leading away from the now destroyed hideout. "Follow me if we get into any trouble I want you to leave me and go. I'll meet you at the contacts safehouse should we get separated." He than begun leading her through the alleyways away from the crime scene using a map the whole time.

She find it quite comical that he saw the need to clarify and gave him another smirk as he defended his school, with it. "Then it was just the right intuition", she'd finally say before they'd fan out and attend to their tasks. Once they were reunited, she was a bi frustrating at not having found anything of worth, but she was certain the local scoundrels had combed this place good.

They started moving and she was a little irriated at first about his hand, but knowing she didn't have to fear anything from him, she took it. She turned her phone off and was left in complete darkness, but she relied on him to navigate her out safely and so he did. Once at the fresh, however burnt-smelling air, she'd notice that while some police was still present, for now they were good. The moonlight illuminated their path just enough until the back-alley street lanterns took over.

They kept on walking and again, he offered sacrificing himself by staying behind while she'd make it out of hede. He was quite a gentleman indeed. Not the try hard kind, but just an actual nice guy it seemed, which was rare to find and even rarer for her to encounter in her field of work. "Alright...but you could just fly away too. No one suspects us. There was no footage. If we get questioned, we need to keep our cool", fooling authorities wasn't hard, but she didn't expect any trouble. They could pose as whatever and no one would question their story.

As they were far enough off, she hit up the contractor by notifying him of their approach and to her surprise, he was still awake. "We can get our payment right away and be done with it, it seems", she told him, a smirk crossing her lips as they approached the district.

As they were walking she argued against him staying behind. Although it was nice for someone in this business not to immediately jump at the chance to save themselves. "You said yourself I can fly away, you can't. The only way I know for sure you can get away is if I'm the focus. This only for if we can't talk our way out of something. I like having a plan for everything." The last sentence was mostly muttered. The news of immediate payment was good. Although a 50/50 split didn't seem right she carried most of the risk and healed him up.

After a bit more walking they reached the safehouse. The two guards upon seeing them began opening the doors they were expected it seemed. Another guard lead them to the office of the contractor. "Ah if it isn't the dynamic duo. You sure took your time out there. Luckily for you my contacts in the police confirmed everyone was killed in the explosion you caused." His gazed turned to Rath, "You could've done it quieter ya know." He began chuckling, waving behind him a man brought out a credit chip and handed to the Mandalorian. "It's up to you how to split the money. I even threw in a lil extra for it looking like a gas leak good intuition on that one." They were ushered out of the building and told to get lost. Rath looked at the chip and offered it to Kate. "Here you earned it more than me. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you."

He remained concerned about her safety and while she absolutely couldn't understand it, it left her questioning whether it was sheer honor or something else. He remained vigilant, yet caring, and made it fairly clear he'd ensure she'd get out of this. No, this was absolutely nothing she was used to. "So do I...but we'll be fine", Maeve had countless stories and explanations ready in her head, but she couldn't believe he was putting her safety over the credits.

"Your concern is cute though", she threw him a smirk as she kept trailing alongside him, one hand casually resting on her blaster just in case she'd need it, but they weren't running into any troubles and thus soon reached the contractor's hideout. The boss awaited them and what she read in his gaze was mild annoyance mixed with a bigger amount of satisfaction though.

"It wasn't easy getting away", she told him, obviously he didn't need to though they had been busy in the meantime, but the job was done. He didn't need to know about the mysterious Sith either - that was information more valuable of kept a secret for now. "Thanks", the rest of the talk was rather quick and soon they were already back outside, officially done and paid.

"Are you for real? You saved my ass in there, too", she reminded it, however obviously she didn't mind the extra payment at all. It would come in handy, but so would this contact. "You can't leave empty handed", he was probably not needed the money that badly, but she knew she'd had to keep it fair.

Rath again was taken by surprise, though he didn't doubt she wanted the credits she still questioned him. Maybe she was used to the normal scum he encountered as well. "Yes I'm for real. I don't need credits to save your ass." His free hand scratching his helmet. What would he want other than credits?

"If you must pay me somehow, how about some grub? I'm not so acquainted with the Shadaa restaurant scene so you pick. Just use my share to pay." He was hungry and he normally left before he could eat. Yet with the city lockdown he had to wait for it to cool off before he could. Plus having an infiltrator on call could be useful.

"Okay then...", of course she kept playing surprised, perhaps touched even, but deep inside there was a strong kind of satisfaction as him offering the credits was just another affirmation for her doings. They kept walking away from the safehouse, knowing it was no good place to stay.

Her lips curled into a smirk as he mentioned her taking him to a restaurant then. They both knew it was no compensation as a full course dinner wouldn't really come close to the payment, but she saw what he did there. "Cheeky. That's at least one efficient way to score a date", she playfully replied, nodding her head to the left.

She knew the city well and she knew just the place that kept the image of a seemingly high class restaurant. The truth was, it was freaking Nar Shadaa still, so there wasn't really an haute cuisine around, but it was a fairly decent restaurant and it would offer more opportunity for them to bond. It was an odd time to grab some dinner, but she knew the place was always open, so it was just right.

The walk wouldn't be that long and they'd pass a duo of policemen, yet neither would pay them too much attention. Maeve assumed they thought she was simply a hooker and the Mandalorian had paid and she was just fine with that cover, so she casually strolled into the restaurant and soon they were getting seated. "So once this lock down is over, where did you plan on going?", she curiously asked him, tilting her head to the side before the waiter offered their holographic menues.

They had already begun leaving the building. She teased him about the dinner something he’d expected. “This isn’t what my culture considers a date. So if you want it to be one it can be.” He would fall in line beside her. Though they were off the job his head was still on a swivel looking for anything amiss. He noted the policemen but they didn’t seem to even acknowledge the couple.

They came to the restaurant, it looked nicer than he expected from Nar Shadaa. When they had got seated the waiter made their way over. He began combing the menu, “I don’t have anything set in stone but I think I’ll try my luck in the mid rim or core worlds. Go see some new planets and cultures.”

He twisted her words, yet obviously she didn't mention it. Instead, she let out a chuckle as her gaze settled on his visor, a hint of mischievous sparkling in her eyes. "What is considered a date in your culture then?", she was actually curious for more insights. Did Mandalorians even date? He had seemed a little out of practice after all...

She started browing the menu as they sat, her mind was focused on both, the conversation and the presumably promising dishes. "Hmm, interesting choice". Despite the NR's downfall, Maeve was wary of the Core Worlds nowadays. She neither wanted to run in such abominations nor deal with their jurisdiction.

As the waiter scurried over to get their orders, he'd adress her first, so she chose a nerf steak that came on top of a colorful salad and waited for him to place his order after. "Do you usually just accept random bounties and contracts or do you prefer certain associations?", she asked next, wondering whether this was just a regular chance encounter.

She let out a chuckle to his response. Turning her gaze to him. “Generally doing a hunt whether for a creature or bounty and any sort of contract. At least those are the more common examples.” He turned to meet her gaze as he shrugged slightly.

He also had been browsing the menu. Her response sounded unenthusiastic to say the least. “Got a problem with the more civilized worlds? I’m sure there’s plenty of wealthy men you could sink your claws into.” His tone was mostly sarcastic.

The waiter came and asked her order first. The nerf steak did look good but they had a dish that would remind him of home. He ordered Tiingilar it was a mandalorian stew and he was curious if they could actually make it right. “Normally they’re at random but I have a few repeat contractors. I’m even on call for a security gig in the unknown regions.”

He inquired further in regards to the Core Worlds, and obviously she could only give him a vague reply as spelling out to many details wasn't good for her business. "The Core Worlds are simply not my preffered terrain. I can stay undetected more easily when it's a shit hole like Nar Shadaa", she explained, meeting his gaze again.

"Okay wow, ouch, as if that's all I do", she sarcastically added, a hint of faux hurt. They both placed their orders before the waiter left them to it again. "Oh that sounds interesting...do you collaborate with other Mandalorians, too? I really don't see them around offen anymore".

Fortunately, they wouldn't have to wait long for their food to arrive, and as it did, she had to admit that it even looked relatively decent. "So this...Tiliingilar - sorry if I butchered that - you've got there, is it any good?". She didn't ask because she was curious to try, but rather because it was a stew unknown to her completely and it looked interesting enough.

He had taken his helmet off and set it to the side. "I never said it was all you did. Just that you easily could do it if you wanted." A smirk forming as he turned watched the waiter scurry away. He did a quick scan of the restaurant noticing a few people either staring at him or gawking at Kate. He turned back to meet her gaze. "I haven't worked directly with any. Although I have had a couple join me on missions unexpectedly."

The waiter brought out their food quickly. Both dishes looked good to eat. He leaned down to inspect his stew using his spoon to stir and inspect the ingredients. He even seemed to take a whiff of it. Sitting up again with a satisfied look on his face. "It's a dish from Mandalore. They seem to have made it correctly. It's a spicy stew with meat and vegetables. If you want you can try it I don't mind there's plenty here." He began rubbing his hands and grabbed a spoonful.

It wasn't the first time she had heard what he was hinting at. It always left her questioning whether it was compliment or an insult, actually, but she was no one who let any of such things get under her thick skin anyway. "It's neither honorable, nor very interesting", she truthfully replied, shrugging. As if any of her jobs were honorable...but some were definitely better and came with more perks. Maybe one day she wouldn't have to do such lowly tasks anymore in general...

It surprised her a little that he didn't usually work with Mandalorians, but perhaps he was not that tied to his clan. As far as she knew, those clans existed and there were definitely operating clans around, but she accepted the answer nonetheless. They were than served and she realized that she had gotten rather hungry in the meantime, so she was happy as she could the meat with her knife.

Even though she had tried many interesting dishes, she wasn't feeling too experimental right now, thus she politely declined. "Thanks, I guess I'm good. Right now I need something solid", she then poked the fork into her steak and tried a bit, and honestly, it was really good. It was then that she felt the light buzz of her phone against her thigh and as she pulled it out, she quickly scanned the message that made her roll her eyes and simply put it away. "This Zabrak today...do you believe he had been in charge for a while?", she let the conversation into a different direction as this particular question was still open for her.

It was interesting for him to hear he mention how she saw the work dishonorable. He guessed there was work even she wouldn’t do. It was a slightly comforting thought.

He has began to look around the establishment. He couldn’t help but wonder if one day he could stop living by his blaster and instead run a shop of some kind. What would it be though? He began to try and figure out what he would do if he lived long enough to settle down but he couldn’t really see it. This life was all he really knew and it was rare for someone to retire from it.

When she turned down trying to dish he smirked, “So my culture is fine for you but not our food. I’m hurt by that.” Feigning getting hit in the chest before eating a large spoonful. The dish tasted surprisingly good almost as if he was on Mandalore and had order it. His face lit up as he began to eat more of it. He wasn’t worried with details of the job but she asked about the sith they encountered. “I’d say it couldn’t have been more than a couple weeks that he was involved. The contractor mentioned that the gang began making bolder expansions and moves around three weeks ago. Why is something bothering you about it?”

He played offended when he turned down his idea about trying his dish and she dramatically rolled her eyes. "I can't help it, I'm a picky eater", her voice was dripping with sarcasm, yet it was true. It was one of her little quirks - it wasn't easy for her to try new dishes, especially if she didn't know the ingredients...

He seemed happy with it though, and she was also rather satisfied with her steak. She turned the conversation back to their mission, yet she paid attention in terms of their surroundings as she didn't need anyone overhearing it. It would only stir up troubles, she was certain of it, because somehow she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the take over...

"Hm..", she pondered on his words, realizing that their contractor had chosen not to share those particular details with her. Had he known she would have considered the job differently, if he had told her? "The body had surely been dead for more than two weeks, so I guess it makes sense. I don't know, to be honest, but I do know that I'll leave this planet for a while...". If it was something bigger, she had no intentions in getting pulled into it.
