Well, that was the subject well and truly changed, Rogal thought to himself. And what a story too...

So, he began, thinking hard, Something, something big, has to happen? Wth, or to, or involving this padawan?

He wouldn't have beleived it a number of years ago, but now, well he'd seen dæmons, monsters and aeons old people brought back to life. This was pretty sane in comparison...

Smiling, glad to be talking about something else, he asked,

Do you have any idea what it is that has to happen? Or is that not revealed to you...? Also, he added, thinking aloud, is it something the kid has to do, or... not do? Maybe it's his living that's the problem...

Grim, but one life for a world felt like a fair swap to Rogal. He wasn't sure if he;d be happy to do that himself, but were ti his choice as to another's fate versus a planet, he knew which he'd choose...

Then a thought hit him.

Was that the kid? The one that I 'fought' earlier?

Rogal was intrigued, he had only the most basic of ideas as to what a shatterpoint really was, nor had he any insight into how they worked, and he was, to say the least, interested to know even if he didn't know how to use or affect one. Just a magpie like tendency to hoard knowledge...

*He figured this would draw a million questions. When one was opened up to new knowledge, they want to know more and more about it. Skyu wasn't ready to give up all his secrets to someone he only just met, though, but answering a few questions couldn't hurt.*

"I had a vision of the padawan turning to the dark side, but that is all I saw. That could mean that he needs to turn to the darkside to save my world, or he needs to stay good, I do not know yet. I will know when the shatterpoint begins getting smaller, though, that the time is nigh. The thought had crossed my mind of sending him to the force, I am more than capable, but if it were that easy I wouldn't still be here."

*Then the main question came. Rogal was a perceptive person, and he did have wisdom that could pick out a hidden meaning of certain things easily. It is a shame he was a Sith for so long, and not a Kel'Dor, he would have made a fine Baran Do.*

"Yes, it is him. Jace Kyjar."

Does Jace know about this all? I mean, it's one thing to carry a destiny like that, but it's another to have to deal with it...

Rogal couldn't help but notice the similarity between Jace's fate and his own. Both linked to the Dark side, and inevitably having to face the it's perils. At least Rogal's fate was his own to struggle with, where Jace had less say than he'd know of. That is, if he even knew he was faced with such a fate.

He smiled suddenly, as a thought struck him. If Skyu had seen that this padawan had an important fate and was here, then he had to have told the Jedi council. Otherwise he'd be gone faster than he could have explained why he was still around.

So, how much of this have you told the council? I'm guessing not the whole story, especially considering the nature of it all... And they generally weren't very happy accepting other people's prophecies... So do they know that Jace might have to be killed, or turned, to save your planet, or had you kept that bit quiet?

It was quite easy to be impartial, he found, as he owed alleigance to neither the Jedi nor the Baran Do, though he was quite inclined to like Skyu, seeing as he was being fairly open, and what he had doen earlier. So he wasn't exactly accusing the monk, more amused by the fact that he was probably privy to more knowledge than the council was at this point...

*Skyu smirked under his mask, nothing that could be seen visibly though his tone would probably reflect it. He hadn't necisarrily lied to the Jedi council, rather than not told them the whole truth. They never asked, after all. If they had, he would have been happy to tell them.*

"All they know is that I had a vision of my world being destroyed, it involved Jace and that I had a vision of Jace being evil. Nothing else... They didn't ask."

*Suddenly Skyu remembered the Dark Lord who was coming to visit Hoth. They couldn't remain in the Station if they wanted to keep the Jedi safe here. Their time was drawing near to strike back, but they needed to be hidden a little while more. He and Rogal were not helping that much at the moment.*

"I feel we, you in particular, have overstayed our welcome here. We should leave before he comes. Whatever trouble you are in, I feel obliged to help you with it."

Rogal grinned. he was reminded of a child, who having hidden the truth, and been found out replies with a simple, you didn't ask, as if that sets everything to rights. Well, it was a fair statement. And he appreciated it, for at least two different reasons.

Though his brief moment of nostalgic respite was torn so brutally away, by the reminder of the current situation.

You're right. And thank you.

He felt that that was enough. There wasn't really much else he could say to that, than what he had. He turned to go back out into the snow, to the ship he had landed a way off, before he realised he was in a hangar full of ships, and he had someone to take with him. Didn't he?

Do you have your own ship here? Or in orbit? Or nearby? Or anything at all?

Rogal really hoped the answer was yes. Another ship carried the obvious benefit of more defenses, but also, the less obvious fact that it would disguise the Behemoth. Albeit briefly, it would be overlooked because it should be alone. Sadly it was quite distinctive, but a moment was all it took for the first volley to belong to him, and that was all the Behemoth needed to win any battle. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that though. Of course it would, but he could hope...

"I took a shuttle here. Nothing much, in fact it might be worse than a Jedi shuttle, but it has the advantage of not being stolen."

*Taking a hint, Skyu began walking through the hangar until he got to his own ship, right beside the doors. With a wave of his hand the loading ramp and the door shot open and he began walking up the ramp, assuming that Rogal had followed him. Once he had settled himself into the ship, he thought of what to do with the Padawan he was supposed to be watching. He should be okay for a few days, if it took longer than that Skyu would have to come get him.*

"So where to?"

Silently following Skyu onto the somewhat rickety looking shuttle, Rogal sat and pondered the question that had been asked, amongst other issues, such as the padawan Skyu was watching.

Where to go...?

When faced with a difficult choice, theres only ever two real options. Run away, or face up to the problem. And in this case, it was literally, fight or flee.

And much as it appealed to him, running away was no longer an option. It had put him into this situation, even though running had been the confrontation option last time, and running had been staying put.

But now wasn't the time for regret, even if he had any. He had to decide. And though it felt like it was the galaxy at stake, really it was only one life, perhaps two now that Skyu had offered to help.

Well, first stop's my ship. Then...

He exhaled, and closed his eyes, thinking hard. A small grin spread across his face, as his eyes flicked open once more.

Then, we go to Coruscant.

It was perfect. As soon as the idea had crossed his mind, he knew it was the right choice. The planet of his birth and his home for so long, there was only one thing that seemed important at this point.

The Jedi temple that was there. The one time home of the order. It was there, he felt, that this was to end.

"Two against the world, then? Sounds unfair..."

*Skyu was smirking again as he began punching the coordinates to get off the planet into the shuttle. It took off after a moment and burst off into the skies. He figured they could find the bigger ship after the got into orbit. It likely wouldn't have stayed in exactly the same spot as it was in when Rogal left, which might present a problem.

Skyu spun around with a passion in his eyes that had never been seen before. He longed to test his abilities against the strongest of the galaxy, and Coruscant would be a great place to do so. With someone like Rogal by his side, it would be a good fight.*

"...maybe we should go blindfolded."

Rogal grinned, the joke certainly not lost on him.

He could tell without looking at Skyu that the fire had entered his soul. The imaginary drums hammering the call to war. The feeling that embracing a noble cause brings, one of righteousness, power and the feeling of invincibility.

It was something he had missed.

Now where would be the challenge in that? I think blindfolds, and tying our hands behind our backs should be the least we do...

He grinned again, before activating the small pulse beacon he carried. It was detectable in an area roughly just bigger than Hoth was, but meant nothing. It was simply a devious homing beacon, which only meant something to one person, and one person only, Dante aboard the Behemoth. To anyone else, it was simply a regular beat.

Not too far away, the huge ship came about slowly, and hastened towards the small shuttle, and it wasn't long before it had swallowed the tiny ship into it's cavernous belly.

Rogal smiled across to Skyu, and exited the ship. He turned, and with a flourish, said;

Welcome, to The Behemoth!

*Jokes aside, Skyu knew that his life would be in terrible danger if they decided to go to Coruscant alone. The Republic and the Jedi would likely need to come with them to make it a successful mission. However, they would be more likely to get on planet with just the two of them in a Sith fighter. From there, who knows. It was Rogal's plan after all.

Skyu was suprised when the ship came virtually out of nowhere and he let the shuttle dock inside of it. Rather large ship to take from the Sith and run away with. You would think they would have noticed, but nope. Skyu followed Rogal out of the shuttle and into the Behemoth, rightly named such, and looked around.*

"Quite a place you have here. I wonder, where's the crew?"

Well, for the most part, i think they hang around doing crewy stuff nearer the engines. I really don't claim to know much about ships. Well, other than that this is one of the nice big ones, which makes it nicely hard to kill...

He laughed, slightly. Even if he couldn't sense it, he knew that a small amount of trepidation would be found somewhere in the Baran Do monk. IT was only natural when you took on an entire order of vengeful Force weilders.

Which was why Rogal's plan, his new new plan was all the more cunning.

He wouldn't run to the republic, or the Jedi, making targets out of those who really didn't need disruption now, if the sith were to be toppled. Rather, he would look for other allies, in less usual places. And he had a good idea of where to start.

I don't suppose you know where the Shadourians hang around these days...?

The grey's he figured, would be just as happy to deliver a metaphorical kick to the nuts of the Sith as he was, and the most prominent order of grey's he could think of was the Shadourians. After them, the exchange was likely a good place to look for military support. And then, well, the citizens would be happily freed.

If all went to plan, then his one man mission might turn into one of the greatest movements that the galaxy was likely to see. But he would need Skyu's help, just as much as those he was to approach.

He wasn't going to share his whole plan yet. It needed to be a whole plan before he could anyway. But to start with, he needed to recruit force wielders. And the Shadourians were as good a starting point as any, few as they were...

"I have never even heard of them."

*Skyu's thoughts then drifted off to other force sensitive factions. The Bendu could be a good option, though he had no idea where they were, or if they would even be willing to fight the Sith with them. He knew they had been in a war with another faction, though he did not know which one. Possibly the Shadorians, though he had no way of proving that. There were many others, the Zeison Sha and Matukai, though they were hindering on non-existance.

Then another thought caught up to him. The tournament that had just taken place, Rogal had faced a neutral force user. Skyu had watched the whole thing, wanting to see something interesting and the two put on quite a show. Perhaps this neutral force user was one of them.*

"Perhaps the man you faught in the tournament?"

Dammit. But yeah, he was the first one to spring to mind. Having him on side would be a big plus...

Like Skyu, Rogal couldn't think of many force sensitive groups that were both active, and anti-sith. Those like the Shadourians which had seemingly died out would have been useful as allies. Or, the Bendu, who had simply seemed to dissappear. Though he was too young to be a part of that conflict, he had felt the effects for a long time.

He couldn't think of many other factions, so it would appear that picking up force sensitives where he could find them would be prudent.

Besides, there was more that needed to be done than to collect force wielders. If a war was to be fought, then they needed more than a handful of force wielding soldiers. They needed an army.

Or something akin to an army...

And another idea hit him. Back when he had been a Sith, there had often been troubles on their shipping routes in the form of a group called the "Red Shadows". Recruiting them would be useful, but what would be better was that the rumours were true. That the shadows were backed up by none other than the Exchange. Or at least, one of the most powerful members.

If that were the case, then finding and securing his or her aid was of critical importance.

We need to build an army, a fleet, the works. Otherwise, we're going to end up dieing before we even reach the finale. And I refuse to fall at any hurdle except the last.

He grinned a wild, ferocious kind of grin, the passion and sense of oble duty within him rising to the surface.

So we need to pursuade someone to help us do that. I think the Exchange would be a good place to start, don't you?

*Skyu did not like the idea of working with the Exchange one bit, but knew that it would be the lesser of two evils. Of course, the odds that they had enough credits to persuade the Exchange was unlikely, however they might be able to offer them some sort of power once the Sith were dealt with. If they were able to get them on their side, perhaps the Jedi would join in as well. They could always hit up his old Vaskar pals back on Dorin and ask for their help, not knowing if Filose would still be in charge or not.*

"If it is the Exchange you want, I know exactly who we need to contact."

*This knowledge had come directly from Jace's early training. Jace's first master, Quill Aridius, was good friends with the leader of many branches of the Exchange. With a contact such as that, persuading the Exchange to join them might not be so hard after all. Of course, Quill was likely back down at Hoth, which could present a problem as to contacting them on a Sith ship.*

"I will take the shuttle back out and contact him, to seem less suspicious. Sith transmissions will not be picked up."

Rogal nodded. He would rather nto deal with the Exchange proper, which was why he was after the benefactor of the Red Shadows, who was rumoured to be involved in the Exchange at a very high level.

But if the Exchange was the next option, then it was the best he had right now. Of course, he had no intention of relying solely on them. He knew there were other organisations who would happily help, and be helped.

It was a matter of finding them.

Very well. Keep me informed.

Rummaging quickly in his pocket, he withdrew a comm-link. It wasn't particularly special, but had the benefit of only being useful or accesible to those who shared a linked device from the Behemoth. One of the many advantages of a big ship, he mused.

In the meantime, Rogal had a few matters to attend inside the ship itself. Such as a few things to discuss with the Captain, pertaining to some special modifications...

He would know as soon as Skyu returned, and would be ready and waiting for him, but for now...

*Skyu walked into the shuttle and took manual control for what seemed like the fisrt time in his life. He flew back into Hoth's atmosphere and used the shuttle's next to useless communications system to send a message to the Station.*

"This is Baran Do Sage Skyu Lon, requesting to speak with Master Quill Aridius."

*This would seem strange to any Jedi who knew that he should have already been on the Station, which was limited to the Jedi Masters, not even all of them. Hopefully no council member was manning the communications, or Torger, the Togorian who picked him up last time.*

Quill sat meditating at the station, forced by the council to leave his home at Ossus for some reason. His thoughts, his premonitions, had been disturbing him. Ever since he felt the young child's presence on Onderon, nothing had been the same. Ominous figures and events lurked ahead, waiting to pounce on the galaxy in due time, and Jace's prophecized fate did little to ease Quill's mind.

--------
"Master Arridius, you have someone wishing to speak with you." The young female said to him. She was still a padawan, but Quill had given her the duty of handling communications."

"Who is it?" Quill asked, his eyes still closed in meditation.

"A Baran Do Sage that goes by the name Skyu Lon." She replied.

Quill's eyes widened. A Baran Do Sage? Could it be the same...

"Send him in. I will enjoy his presence." Quill pulled up a table and two chairs as the receptionist returned to the communications console. He set a kettle filled with a hot, green liquid, and poured to glasses, and sat in one of the chairs, awaiting the man's arrival.

-----------
"Mr. Lon, Master Arridius says he would greatly enjoy your presence, and to feel free to see him in his chambers."

"My thanks."

*Skyu set the coordinates this time and went down into the hangar of the station once again. Once there, he grew tired of walking and now manipulated the force to make him appear in front of the Jedi Master's door, after finding which room it actually was. Of course, he could have gone inside the room, but that would just be bad manners. He was tired now, that amount of force usage can rarely be used and he had done enough to kill a normal Jedi Knight. He sat outside the Jedi Master's room for a while, meditating to gain his strength back, then when he felt it sufficient, knocked on the door.*

"Master Aridius?"

*Skyu nodded his head and walked into the room, taking the seat across from Quill. He looked back up at the large man when he got comfrotable with a smile, though it couldn't be seen through his face mask. Of course, his entire persona would give off the feeling that Skyu was happy to be meeting with the Jedi Master.*

"A pleasure. I am Skyu Lon, Sage of the Baran Do."
