Quill made no effort to hide his intrigue at the mention of the faction.

"The Baran Do? I have heard of your order, and hold it in high regard. Your knowledge of the force is rarely surpassed. Tell me, why do you come to me?"

*A compliment. Skyu had not heard one since he had arrived on Hoth, the council members went as far as insulting him and his order. At least someone here was knowledgable about other beings in the galaxy. Skyu began wondering if he should get straight to the point, or make small talk about Jace. He figured the latter would come as a matter of trust later, so getting to the point seemed better.*

"As you may or may not know, I have been watching over your ex-Padawan Jace Kyjar. During that time I found out you had a great contact within the Exchange. A friend and I would like to meet with him, we need his help."

Quill's demeanor changed instantly, and he quickly became blunt and business like.

"I am glad to know that Jace is in capable hands, hands wiser than that of the council, but as far as my associate and friend goes, I am not sure if I can help you. He and the exchange, if you have been following up on the galactic underworld, have been going through problems as of late. His crime family, you may or may not know if it, has become the Exchange's number one rival, and has surpassed them in both power and profit. However, I think there is a way he may be of assistance."

Quill smiled mischeviously, not many Jedi would do what he was about to, but it was the only he knew to pay back his dear, and maybe only, friend.

*More powerful than the Exchange? Skyu could hardly believe it. The Exchange had been the number one organization in crime for centuries and the odds that one man could get his own crime family to become more powerful than them were very low. But if Quill was telling the truth it could prove to be very valuable to both him and Rogal in this upcoming fight.*

"Very intriguing, I am listening."

Quill smiled at the sage's willingness to hear the plan, and with the help of such a prominent figure in the force, it would be unlikely they would fail.

"Rejik Nupaq was always ambitious, but his ambition was aided with logic, strategy, and instinct. The combination led his family to become a major ally of the exchange, and for him to become the crime lord over twelve different systems, and the most influental member in the exchange. However, he never had plans on staying in the exchange, in fact he hated them. His true colors showed when I took my former padawan Kirisoto on a mission with the help of Rejik. There, the three of us persuaded the majority of the crime lords into banning the enslavement of newly discovered and naive species. It caused much controversy, and from there he slowly began abolshing slavery altogether, viewing it as a mortal sin, and punishable by death. Once the lords exposed his 'treason' he was stripped of his titles in the exchange, but by that time his family had enough money stored, and technology made, to overtake the exchange. It has become a bloody galaxy spanning war, yet Rejik has another benefit: loyalty. The exchange is like the sith in the way the kill eachother off for profit and power, the Nupaq Crime Family is based on loyalty, and loyalty is how you achieve your rewards. There have been no traitors in the families existence, which gives Rejik a stable organization. However, the exchange has many lords aiding Rejik for his underworld crusade. The war is Rejik's favor, yet the longer it lasts, the more innocents are killed, and the more credits lost. He is asking for aid from all of his extensions outside the criminal world, and I have agreed. I could very well be exiled for it, but I am in debt to him, and he is my friend. I know his soul better than anyone else in the galaxy. All I ask, and all he requires, is you and your friend give your word to aid him with all the forces you can spare, and yourselves if possible. He is a trusting person, and I will vouch for you both, and your word will be all that is needed for now. Service will come later, but rest assured it will come. He would word it differently, disguise it as a threat and envoke it as such, but the truth is this: if you do not live up to your word, it is more than an insult, and he will loathe himself for his trust more than he will loathe the traitor. With the recent murder of his son, I beg you not to betray him if you accept his aid in return for yours, for his soul cannot bear much more."

Quill took a sip from his drink, and his eyes showed no deceit in his voice, every word spoken was the truth.

*Did such a good and noble man truely exist outside of Skyu's knowledge? If he was so powerful, how had he never heard of him before until recently? Allying with such a person, as well as this Jedi Master could be a great idea, though partaking in a seperate war from their own was something he was unsure that Rogal would be willing to do. He figured he would go to the source for that question.*

"I will have to consult my... assosciate first. I am sure he can speak to us both through the force from where he is. Don't let the name bother you."

*Skyu closed his eyes and concentrated on the ship, finding the powerful presence that was Rogal on the ship. He caught the man's attention with the force, then sent him the message that Quill had just told him. He needed some input on this whole ordeal.*

"Rogal, what is your take on all this?"

When he received Skyu's force sent message, Rogal was in fact in the middle of a conversation with Dante, the Behemoth's captain, and one time admiral of the Sith fleet. Now, he was a rebel fighting for a noble cause. A story that always finds a way to tell itself.

~One moment, Skyu~

So, you'll have those built to my specifications, and fitted as soon as possible?

Of course, I'll get right on it.

With a small smile, Rogal said, Thank you old friend.

Turning away, he began to walk away, and went over what the Jedi had said. He was somewhat worried, because the way it was worded sounded a lot like Quill, the Jedi he had met, and clashed with on Onderon. Hopefully, there was no grudge held after his redeeming act.

He grinned, and replied after a long moment.

~I'll happily accept those terms. Provided he knows that our cause comes first for us. And, as a show of good faith, I'm happy to go to Rejik and offer my services for a while.~

He puased, than added, exclusively to Skyu, having locked onto him at the time of the first transmission,

~Rejik's support looks like it's going to be instrumental to our cause. If he can handle the military side of things almost completely, then we can concentrate on the more specialised parts...~

He grinned, it all seemed to be going brilliantly, for the moment.

*Skyu listened to what Rogal had said to the both of them, then to him alone and concentrated to send a message of his own back up to the huge Sith ship.*

"If we need it, I have some old friends I can look up back home to help."

*Skyu was thinking of the Vaskar, under the care of Filose Naj at this time, but perhaps getting the rest of the Baran Do to help wasn't a bad idea either. They were all powerful with the force, though only one as much as Skyu, but they would all be a great help in the war. He just remembered, however, that he had not looked into the future yet to see how this would play out. He was being rather dangerous. Forgetting this, Skyu turned his attention back to Quill.*

"Is all in readiness then?"

Quill's eyes were the epitome of vehemence, a myriad of hate filled emotions. Rogal appeared to be ubiqutious in Quill's life, and he wanted him gone. Yet, he had already made the deal with the Baran Do, and would never go back on his word, never.

"Yes, it is. I do not trust Lorcatus, even if he has changed his name back to what it should be. That man faltered in his loyalty with the sith, and I realize what a risk that was, but that man's sins have become an interminable reminder of the malevolence of the sith. I will aid you, and if that is helping him through extension, then I will bite my tounge and resentfully do so. Yet he has neither my trust nor forgiveness, but my aid comes with Rejik's, and hopefully that is enough. Rejik is on Corellia, in his estate by the orange lake. The emerald scorpions outside his chateau give it away. He will see any visitor that comes, no matter what their reason is. May Azureth watch over your journey to find him, even though it will doubtly be a difficult one, and may her blessed guidance aid us in our noble war."

*Skyu had no clue what Azareth was, he assumed it was some sort of God that this Jedi worshiped. If so, he took the wish to heart and felt kindly about this Jedi moreso than the others. He also took what he had said about Rogal and kept it in mind, wondering if deserting was actually in his nature, not just because of the force.*

"I thank you, Master Jedi, may the force be with you."

*Skyu stood up and bowed to the Jedi, then turned and walked out of the room. He made sure to walk all the way back to his ship so as to not waste any more energy, then piloted up to the Sith warship above. He docked again in its hanger and then walked around aimlessly in the ship, trying to find the bridge.*

Rejik sat down, barely able to keep his composure in front of the sage, and held his head in his hands.

"What am I to do?" He sighed as he stared into his drink, his reflection staring back at him. His unique and unexplained polymorphing abilities were a key to what converted him, as the new path gave the answers, among other reasons, yet he felt just as alone as before once Rogal was mentioned.

Stop the sith! Are you mad, murderer? Have you lost your mind? Your soul was easy enough to lose!

"Stop it! Get out of my head!" The Gen'dai grabbed his head hard, and spoke through gritted teeth.

Your head is not where I am, you sophmoric Jedi! Your believe yourself to be so clever, yet you knew me! You know me still, and you know where I lie!

"Get out..." He muttered quietly.

Fool! Incompetent fool! You make demands of me? Or do you beg? Either way, you still are asking my help once more, even if the help is my absence.

"Enough!" Quill jerked out of his seat and his chair and drink hit the ground hard as he did so. He ran to what appeared as a fireplace, but was in reality a sort of aquarium filled with color changing water, that emmitted heat. He fell to his knees and bowed his head low.

"Azureth, guide me in this quest. Your graceful touch was forever close, yet now I feel its warmth. Goddess of life, goddess of my soul, take away the torment the Unspeakable One has cursed me with for my alliegience to you. I beg you, and remind you that my mind, body and soul are in your command, and shall be forever."

Quill rose after his prayer, the voice gone for the moment. He pulled the comm device from his robe, and contacted the only one who could recieve its message.

"Rejik, we are in another war, my friend. I ask you to help the man of the Baran Do when he sees you, or a man named Rogal, but be prudent when dealing with the latter.[color]

"Aye, I shall my old friend. I trust we are not aiding them for free?"

"No Rejik, their help will reward us when the time comes. I only ask you one favor friend."

"And that would be?"

"Speak to the sage your connection. He is wise, wiser than I, and tenfold as powerful! If I cannot explain and persuade you of the force, than perhaps he can. I do not wish you to remain blind to a connection so prominent."

"His power may be great with his magic, as is yours, but I only gamble with my own life. You know that. We have discussed it before. I will welcome him as family, and he shall have my trust. Goodbye friend."

Despite the other two's fears to the contrary, Rogal was not a traitor at heart. He had been selfish, and stupid, but had realised his errors, and set out on the most dangerous of tasks, to right the wrongs he had brought about.

Rogal grinned, as he found Skyu almost aimlessly wandering the corridoors. He was in the vicinity of the Bridge, so was clearly looking for Rogal. At least, that's how Rogal saw it.

How did it go then?

Somehow, Rogal got the impression that there would be a slight hiccup in there somewhere, but that was unimportant, provided they got this powerful ex-exchange man on side.

And after that, then the other side of the deal had to be dealt with. The gathering of force wielders, to lead, and aid the normal men.

And then the war against the Sith could truly begin. Though there would be a long while before that, it would happen. And hopefully, it would be Rogal at the head of the first charge.

*Skyu was suprised upon finding Rogal, it had taken him some time to wander anywhere near the bridge. For one reason or another, he was not using the force to aid him in his journey, which made him appreciate common explorers just that much more, as well as despise the engineers of Sith battle ships.*

"We have a meeting set up with Rejik Nupaq on Corellia, near the orange lake. If you have other business to pertain to, I can head there alone while you get more allies."

*That plan seemed most logical. Getting up more allies quicker was better than getting one powerful ally at a time. Dividing their forces (which was two) seemed necesarry at a time like this.*

Splitting up had seemed like a good idea a while back, but he had briefly reconsidered. However now, he could once more see the sense in the idea, so he quickly resolved to stick to his newfound principle, and set out independantly.

Agreed. You meet with Rejik, and secure whatever he can afford to give to the cause. Ships, men, armies if he has them.

He paused for a moment, then added,

And promise him whatever it takes. I will personally see to it that all debts are repaid, after his part is done.

Rogal nodded solemnly, before adding,

There are a few lines of enquiry that I intend to pursue. I imagine they will prove simpler than Rejik, so I'll handle them while you deal with him.

He laughed, and continued,

And hopefully, when we meet again, this will look less like a suicide mission, and more like the crusade it's meant to be.

((OOC: um, i'll wrap this thread up in a roley mo, and it'll branch out into many seperate ones, before pulling all my new firends back into one big jumble, to be sorted and stuff...))
