Traitors. Ryujin perhaps hated these more than the Jedi or the Republic, for they did not know the grace of the bosom of the Empire. But traitors they had felt the warmth of that embrace had shunned it for the cold of the Jedi and their peaceful philosophies. The Inquisition had expected some backlash from the removal of both Darth Stolas and Darth Caelestis, considerable assets had been sent to Avillion to watch for any signs the old Councillor’s ‘Kingdom’ would break into open revolt against the Empress. So far nothing had happened, probably as a decision on its future had not been fully decided. Ryujin would have to keep an eye on that side of the galaxy for the future.
For now he was being swiftly dropped into one of the plunge cities of Utapau, this backwater planet on the edge of Southern Sith territory, an easy escape route out of the Empire, into worlds unaligned before swiftly turning back around and heading to the Core. Ryujin was fully adorned in his red Inquisitor Armour, not a single section of skin was shown, gone was his personal lightsaber or any sign of the personal that was Ryujin Izanagi, no this was Inquisitor Susanoo a weapon of the Empire against those within and without.
He smiled behind his mask when he looked at who had also been assigned the role of squashing this traitor’s escape. The very same Sith Lord he had ventured to Sullust with a few weeks prior, perhaps The Force was a comedian as well as an omnipotent powerhouse. The Inquisitor paid the Sith Lord little attention as they fell from the sky towards their prey, for when he wore this armour he answered to none but the Empress.
“Our target is General Valin Cross. I assume you have been briefed on him?” Ryujin asked through the voice modulator of his helmet.
