A walk through the temple

[Keinushi]

Kiara woke up excited. Today Cath and her would be walking through the temple and talking. But the exciting part was last night she had finished the last of the kits she had brought with her and it was time to display them.

She looked down on her creations. Each about the size of her head. They were simple floor cleaning droids, that had been suped up to be far more efficient than normal. As she opened her door and clicked a switch on the remote and 10 cleaning bots zoomed off. Joining the others going through the temple floors.

 

[Fusion]

Lumin had a bit of free time and had been wandering about the temple in her typical garments. Wandering about, she found herself in front of a door. Not knowing where it went or who it belonged to, she knocked on it.

Hello? Anyone in there?

No one probably noticed that she was a bit ditzy and innocent...

 

[Keinushi]

Kiara hit the panel opening the door. She was surprised to see a young female jedi in the place of her master. "Can I help you?"

 

[Fusion]

Um... yeah. I'm kind of new here, and could use some guidance around the temple.

Lumin stopped before more thoroughly introducing herself.

I'm Lumin. Haloburner Lamb's my master.

 

[Keinushi]

Kiara raised an eye in surprise at the mention of her former master. "Really? Huh."

Kiara looked at her room, now empty without all her projects in it. "Guess Cath cancelled." turning back to the other learner she said. "Care to go for a walk?"

 

[Fusion]

I would appreciate that.

Lumin waited for Kiara to get ready as she stood outside the pale human's room.

 

[Keinushi]

Swiping her cloak off the back of her chair, Kiara stepped out of the room. Why was the temple always so cold, she sometimes wondered.

"Any place in particular you'd like to see?"

 

[Fusion]

Just show me the works.

Lumin smiled at Kiara. She was friendly, but didn't know whether she was being a friend or a hindrance to the fellow Padawan.

 

[Keinushi]

"Completely vague and unsure. I like that." Kiara said in a tone that implied otherwise.

"Anyways this is the learners quarters for ages 18 to 20." She waved her hand to indicate the corridor. "And if you take that turbolift down you can go somewhere else. Away from here."

 

[Fusion]

Have I said something disrespectful, or do you just not like me?

Lumin crossed her legs as she tried to soften the situation out.

 

[Keinushi]

"Niether." Kiara sighed. "I simply have better things to do than guide some newbie through the temple. Try hitting up one of the protocol droids, they love this kind of stuff."

 

[Fusion]

Well yes, but a droid isn't exactly a real person. You could probably do a better job then any of the droids in here.

Lumin just wanted to make herself a friend that wasn't her master. Whether she was going about it the right way, however, was disputable.

 

[Keinushi]

[[should probably just say your looking for a friend XD]]

"No." Kiara nodded. "A droid knows more and has infinately more patience than me."

With that she stepped out of her room and closed the door, turned and began walking down the hall.

 

[Fusion]

But...

Lumin called out towards Kiara as she was walking away.

I need a friend...

 

[Keinushi]

Kiara stopped, placing her hand over her face in annoyance at the mornful plea. Now she had to be nice. Sithspawn.

"Fine, I'm going for some food in the caf anyways, would you like to come along." Kiara hopped the girl would say no, but somehow knew she would say yes.

 

[Fusion]

I'd really like that, Miss...

Lumin had never caught Kiara's name.

 

[Keinushi]

"Names Cabaoth." Kiara nodded, continuing to walk. "Kiara Cabaoth."

 

[Fusion]

Well it's nice to meet you, Kiara. Though that name sounds familiar... Aren't you related to some old Jedi Master?

Lumin kept her pace as she walked next to Kiara.

 

[Keinushi]

Kiara smiled. "Good catch. 300 years ago my great grand uncle was a member of the Jedi Councel during the time of the old republic. He was lost on an expedition to the unknown regions. No ones ever heard from him since.

 

[Fusion]

Wasn't there some kind of insane clone of him around?

Lumin was curious to see what Kiara knew about her ancestors.
