Kalique kept holding watch with an ear pressed against the door in case a security droid decided to walk by. Everything was quiet for now, but the longer Guinevere searched, the more restless she became. Was this taking to long? It was hard to assess the time they needed and Kalique also knew that what Guinnwas doing wasn't easy, but time was ticking.

At some point she could actually sense how someone was approaching rather quickly and she already had her right hand at the lightsaber before the person just walked by. Exhaling in relief, the Knight rolled her shoulders before she intently listened again.

After a few more moments Guin presented the news Kalique really wanted to hear and she immediately sped over, wanting to have a look herself. Kalique immediately narrowed her eyes as she scanned over the files and messages, finally reading over what Guin was also staring at. "Of course...this douchebag manipulated the votes. We were right about one thing then. This Governor was shady from the start". It hadn't made sense that Desevro had left and now they had the answer.

"Any more intel we can gather? May I?" With her permission, Kalique wanted to go search for herself for a moment as she found having all this data accessible pretty cool. She wasn't much of a tech woman, yet without even doing more than going through files, she felt as though she was also doing a little hacking.

"Oh what's that now?" she curiosly asked as she stumbled over a folder named "Born lucky". Expecting to find an autobiography or whatever, she confidently double-clicked, but what enfolded was a seemingly endless gallery of well...pics of his manhood. "Dick pics...seriously?! Those politicians are the worst" she casually shook her head as she scrolled down for a moment, however realizing that it was indeed a very long gallery with all kinds of lighting and positioning and there was seemingly nothing else hidden inside. "Well...alright. Can you transfer the data so that we can give it to the right people?" she asked her, not bothered by the pics at all.

The shock of the significant plot they had uncovered left her stunned for a moment, just long enough for Kalique to pop over and take a look herself. At the very least now they had the proof they needed to act, but it wasn't as simple as that. They would have to come up with a good reason to explain how they managed to procure the illicit information and then how that information made its way into the right hands.

"Uh sure.." Guin wouldn't have shared her own datapad so freely but as she had already copied the evidence herself, there surely wouldn't be any harm in allowing the knight to poke around a little.

With a little bit of building confidence, she glanced over at Kalique while the other tapped around. "We could always email the evidence and a fun little confession to his contact list, that would get rid of him for sure." She was just about to say that doing it that way would be effective, but neither of them would be able to take any credit. For Guin that was fine, her superiors would know and that was all that mattered, but she wasn't sure how Kalique would fare in the dark.

And then THAT happened.

Guin's face swiveled back toward the screen with a combination of curiosity and horror. Her face turned bright pink as her cheeks blushed. "Stop what are you doing!! that's ...a p" Kalique clicked through so many pictures so very fast, it was impossible to keep up with the images, oh the very explicit images. "Wait, no go back." that one, in particular, was so very bad it was great, a small gasp escaped her lips.

Kalique asked a rather mundane question and Guin, of course, knew the answer but all that came out of her mouth was "I ...uh.. didn't know it could look like that." The small woman had to visibly pause for a second in order to collect herself and try to slip back into work mode. "I mean yes, we can do it. The question is how should we? we can send it anonymously or we'll need a cover story for how you managed to get it legitimately. The former is safer, but the latter could help convince them to rejoin the empire."

With her unexpected discovery, the Governor's prestige was just further declining in her mind. While the governor was no more than a decent 5 maybe, he presented himself as though he was an 11/10, which Kalique found relatively amusing. However, while she was amused, the ISB agent almost completely lost her shit.

"Relax...those are just a few pics...or rather hundreds of them", she remarked, turning to face her with a quirked brow as she wondered whether she found this so scandalous because she didn't usually encounter such things behind her desk. "Wait what? Now you want to see it again?" she added laughingly, actually scrolling back but getting a little sidetracked by the comic of this situation.

They had to get back on track somehow and so after stiffling her chuckle, she forced her mind to focus. "Now that's a good question. We do want to get us into a position where it will be tempting for them to join us. First, we should strive for having this Governor removed though. Without a clear leadership, panic could erupt. It is then our job to stir it up further before the Empire can come in to save the day". An idealistic outline, but that was basically at its core. "It will be hard to justify how we gathered the data legitimately...so maybe we do it anonymously and focus on manipulating more structures from within". For that, they could easily call for reinforcements, but it was probably their safest bet.

It was lucky that she'd probably never have to see this knight ever again after being caught up in something so embarrassing. Guin was still trying to gather her thoughts after witnessing the strange encounter of the mushroom kind, also partly hoping that she would never have to see it again, sprinkled with a morbid curiosity of it anyway.

The blushing features would hopefully abate as they continued talking shop, getting back to the mission and leaving the erected business behind them. "That's something I can do.. gimme a few minutes to package something and it'll be all set. Perhaps we could make it look like a scorned lover broke in and trashed the place. No doubt a man of his..proclivities has such a reputation that it would be believed."

With his reputation publically trashed and the evidence revealed, it would be easy to have him removed. All that remained would be for the empire, or in this case Kalique to sweep in and reel the planet back into the Empire's orbit.

"If the people do indeed want to remain with the empire, perhaps all you need to do is sweet talk the next in line that the empire won't act like the Sith and punish them for leaving, maybe that will be enough? Unless you have something else we could try?"

In the meantime, Guin would continue fingering her keyboard preparing a data pack to send off and begin clearing any traces to her connections.

Guinevere's cheeks seemed to lose their freshly gained color rather slowly and she could still sense her nervousity. While Kalique couldn't blame her for being nervous on her first actual field mission, she did find it quite amusing that the pics had been the reason for that.

The idea she posed about the angry lover made sense, especially with all the leverage the filled gallery would offer. Who would believe he hadn't shared the inappropriate pics and yes, such men were probably drenched in toxic masculinity that would sooner or later result in some trouble. "Sure, package it", she repeated, emphasizing the verb she had chosen a little as she had perceived it as just another amusing slip of the flustered woman's mind. She didn't tease her because mean, but because she still found her innocence adorable and it was a relatively refreshing trait to work with. Also, she wasn't even sure whether she was reflecting on her language use.

"Possibly" she mused, cocking her head to the side as she watched her work, "Maybe we'll still find a way to make the Empire look like the Knight in shining armor comes to save the day once the government collapses for a while...". Maybe it would take a few days, but they were planning for the long run anyway. Desavro would maybe even request their help at some point.

Kalique's thoughts were suddenly interrupted as she noticed a ripple in the Force. "Oh uh" she whispered, hurrying over to the door and actually making out two presences on their way towards their room. "We've got to go" she informed the agent, readying a lightsaber just in case but keeping her position on the door to check. Maybe they were headed elsewhere...Still, they had to hurry.

It definitely was completely unintentional for the deployment of such a euphemism, as evidenced by Guin's continued efforts to complete the work and the lack of change in her demeanor. Though when Kalique made a point to point out something that she had missed, the blonde looked up with a confused smile "I will?" Some hours later, possibly in the shower or laying in bed, the lieutenant might connect the dots but unfortunately for the knight, she wouldn't see that realization.

After finishing what she was working on, Guin proudly stared at the screen with a finger hovering over the send button. Having decided on creating chaos with plenty of gross material available, a perfect plan had formed to utilize both. An email would be sent from the governor's account and made to look like he was trying to send his pitiful pride and joy to several female staff members of other members of the government.

Only that wouldn't be the only thing attached, the evidence would be shared around just as easily as they would hope and the resulting calamity would bring their politics to a halt, or worse. Suddenly Kalique's mood changed from the fun, playful type to immediately concerned as their situation changed. "Coming! I'm done here anyhow." Slipping back the laptop into its place after closing everything she had been in.

The agent made her way back behind the knight, ready to open the door when she was ready in the hope they could either slip away unnoticed or get the drop on the unsuspecting person.

The confusion in her face was pretty obvious, which made it even funnier somehow, but Kalique knew they had to get back to business. Her mind was already racing at the prospect of having someone walk in on them a few seconds later anyway and while she was ready to knock them out, she actually wanted to avoid any more encounters.

The doors were thick enough, so she gave her a quick, "good". Before she jutted her chin towards her stuff. "Gather everything you have" she instructed her, voice lowered to a bare minimum while she followed the presence within the Force.

Her heartbeat was accelerating quickly, especially as she could feel them right in front of the door, but no...somehow she just heard a muffled conversation and they went off again. Letting out a breath of relief, she kept tracking them from the inside and waited for Guin to get ready before she carefully leviated the shelf away.

Opening a window here was an option, but it would look too violent as those windows were not openable anyway. "Okay...guess we're taking the basement again. The guards should still be napping and we can just slip out". She told the other woman, before glancing over her shoulder. "Are you ready? We gotta be quick".

Guin watched Kalique closely, the force was a funny thing and completely foreign to the lieutenant who rather wondered if such powers would become bothersome sometimes if you could always be sensing things you could not see. Imagine what the therapy could be like, at least from the stories she had heard they could interact with the minds of others and that couldn't have been good for ones mental health.

Distraction aside, Guin was very ready for the hurried dash back to the basement. Having come 10th in her class in cross country, her athleticism wasn't the best but neither was it the worst. Nodding, she fell in behind Kalique as they made their way quietly back down the hallway which would lead them back to the staircase.

The sudden and immediate worry now lingering in the back of her mind was what if the guards woke up, they wouldn't likely know what happened to them but they would know they hadn't been where the knight had left them. They would definitely be suspicious but given the nature of what was about to erupt, perhaps it didn't matter as much.

Before they entered the basement, the blonde tapped the shoulder of her companion just to check. "Do you think we should leave the guards where they fell? or set a scene where they think they did it to themselves drunk or something?" If Kalique wasn't worried, they could quickly depart out the way they came and head out back to the speeder and watch as the next part of the plan came into effect.

With the data safely transfered to Guin and the agent ready at the door, Kalique carefully reached out once more to triple check whether the coast was clear. She then slowly opened the door and motioned for Guinevere to follow before she sneaked back to where they had come from.

As she set her foot on the stairs, she didn't pay much attention and so she actually slipped from the first step. With her quick reflexes though she immediately caught herself and only gave Guin a 'damn that was close' look before pressing on much more carefully.

She was about to slip right into the storage room they had passed earlier as she suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder which made her spun with a raised brow. Oh right, the guards. Her idea wasn't bad, although it did remind her off those detective movies were crime scenes were staged and she was wondering whether Guinevere was comparing everything that happened here to the media, which was yet another amusing thought.

"I don't think there's a need for that. They'll wake up and be confused, but they don't need to know what hit them" she shrugged, waiting for her to comment on it before she'd move further. They'd really find the guards all motionlessly on the floor and so reaching the window again wasn't hard. With the Force, Kalique skillfully opened the window before she'd help her companion up.

Guinevere nodded her thanks to Kalique as she pulled her out of the basement and back outside. The bright light messed with her vision a little after being in the darker room, but luckily only took a few seconds of adjustment. It was a nice feeling to be back outdoors again after their little work trip. Following close behind the knight, they would be fortunate enough not to run into any more encounters and safely make it to the speeder.

"Gimme one sec, mind the steps." She said absentmindedly as she dove back onto her laptop to finish up with the camera stuff that she had been patching. Once they left, it wouldn't look like they had even touched anything to all but the best eyes. "There's a safehouse we can stash at until this thing kicks off, shouldn't honestly take too long but let's get outa of here."

---

Three days passed by in the blink of an eye and both women were able to enjoy first-hand accounts of the drama that unfolded. It didn't take long for news of the incident to spread all across the city. A healthy protest firmly planted itself on the steps to the council chambers demanding the governor's resignation and or imprisonment. Word on the street was that there was gonna be an official announcement a few minutes away that would probably seal his fate.

From a nearby cafe, Guin sat enjoying the view of their handy work in real-time but even this ISB agent wouldn't have predicted how the embarrassed man would react. Suddenly a loud and rumbling sound echoed through the plaza catching many unaware. Multiple armored vehicles broke their way into the area and made a beeline for the podium where the rest of the standing council was preparing to speak.

Security forces for the council swiftly moved to intercept and block their entry, but the governor's soldiers and droids also quickly disembarked and started to press forward in a menacing way. In that blink of an eye, no violence had erupted yet but the tension was through the roof. Guin couldn't quite make out what was being said from this distance, but she presumed that if the council didn't back down there might be a shootout happening as the man's ego couldn't take what had happened.

The safe house was neither spacious nor luxurious, but Kalique didn't mind that at all. Time seemed to fly and they could watch how chaos was enfolding first handedly why it even looked like there was an actual Civil War on the brink of breaking loose.

After they had released the Governor's shady business, the citizen had lost faith in their leaders. Desevro was in a state of unrest and so far the two women were just waiting for their chance to strike. Kalique had learnt quite a bit about her companion and the two women had gotten along rather well which was a pleasant surprise to her as not all Imperials were fine with the presence of a Knight.

On day three, the conflicts truly seemed to escalate so while Guin was watching from her position in a Café, Kalique was standing amidst the crowd. Adorned in casual wear much similar to the locals, she was recognizable as an Imperial Knight. With the alibi the ISB had arranged, Kalique even had a reason to be there and simply waited for this official statement that was about to come as she could suddenly feel a rumble in the distance.

Chaos broke lose as the first vehicles came into sight and it wasn't hard to tell how the Security Forces were already close to loosing control over the situation. There were panicked shrieks and readied arms as the tension reached its peak. The remaining Council members were frightened beyond believe, not having expected the members who were still loyal to the Governor to make such a violent statement, but it was the absolute perfect opportunity for Kalique to make her entrance.

Rushing against the masses of fleeing Civilians, she hurried over to the Security forces posted in front of the Council members and approached the one that looked like he was in charge. "Sir...with all due respect, I'm an Imperial Knight of the New Order, off duty and just visiting a family member, but I can no longer close my eyes. The Governor's forces...their weapons seem sharp. Is there something I can do to help? Imperial assistance wouldn't be far off". He'd know that as well. Desavro was just a jump away, and as desperate as the Council seemed, Kalique was hoping her approach would be futile.

The knight in shining armor might have been well received by the council, but before Kalique could ease the heated tensions diplomatically, the first move would be made by the inadequate governor and his henchmen. Suddenly finding herself in the midst of an unexpected shootout, blasters on both sides opened fire upon each other.

A humongous wave of panic brushed over the crowd as dozens scrambled to get away from the unfolding event, as most were civilian in nature they had neither come prepared nor was the common person interested in becoming collateral damage.

The mad governor barked orders from behind his gunmen, demanding that the council was attempting to coup him and were therefore all traitors to be shot. One such gunman was not just packing a blaster but in fact pulling out something with a bit more bang. The rocket flew overhead of the council, striking a vehicle behind them and causing a catastrophic explosion. The shockwave and shrapnel flew in all directions and would affect everyone near the council members in some manner or another.

Some never even saw what happened to them before perishing, others would be injured but otherwise capable of returning to the fight.

Meanwhile, Guin sat in disbelief as these events unfolded across the plaza. The plan to have Kalique so nearby to avoid such events breaking out had clearly failed, but worse she couldn't even tell where this woman had gotten to in the dust cloud. Panic set in, what could she even do in this kind of situation? She was no force user nor was she a soldier.

It was strange how the body froze up in incredibly stressful situations, it took several seconds for the blonde to make the startling realization that she was still in the open and that following her training, she should duck for cover and assess before deciding her next move.

The little bastard.

Kalique's plan to sweet him and appeal to the desperate security and Councilors alike was literally blown apart by the rocket that was launched so close by that she didn't get the chance for much preparation. Her voice was cut off by the explosion that was triggered as the gunman loosened the projectile and within a split-second, a change of plans was required.

Coiling the Force around her in one swift motion and immediately erecting a shield with the Force, Kalique did not only lessen the shockwave but also minimize the shrapnel that was hurled in their direction. As she was not aiming to simply protect herself but the Officer next to her and mainly the politicians on stage, she couldn't stop the brute force of the incoming projectile and without her armor she was hit by several pieces that cut open several wounds all across her legs.

She was also pushed backwards and thrown of her feet, so that she slid over the raw asphalt for a few feet before she immediately managed to push herself back up, the adrenaline running wild in her veins. Bleeding and with gritted teeth, she witnessed how hell broke lose as screams filled the air before they were joined by blaster bolts.

The café seemed in tact for now, but she was hoping Guinevere would be clever enough to run and hide far away from this mayhem. As for Kalique, the Knight had to act right away. With her weapons left in the safe house as this was supposed to be of diplomatic nature, it was just her and the Force.

She wasted no time before she jumped up on stage and yelled at the Councilors, "Go hide somewhere!" before she started rushing towards the incoming Governor's man, choosing the one with the rocket launcher as her first target. "Call reinforcements in. At least two platoons" she adressed Guin through the comms, hoping the woman was fine enough to heed her order before Kalique was already in line of sight with the gunman.

Before he could finish loading the second projectile, she forcefully yanked the weapon out of his grasp and hurled it far away to their right. "What the kriff are you doing?!" she yelled, however knowing her voice wouldn't reach all of them. With a quick motion of her hand she flicked the lights off for the rocket launcher guy before she sent a heavy force push wave into the incoming mass of gunmen.

Irritated, the Officer instructed his soldiers not to shoot the 'blonde space magic lady' who had appeared out of nowhere but seemed to be on their side, but judging from the masses of armed vehicles, Kalique knew they needed support from above asap.

Kalique's quick thinking saved several members on the council's side although they too would receive injuries not too dissimilar to hers. And while she was able to disarm and knock back several gunmen, there were simply too many for her to stop alone.

One of the armored vehicles turned its laser turret toward her and opened fire early, resulting in its fire spraying wildly along the ground tracing its path towards her position if she remained in place. The gunmen that hadn't been knocked out or away from her attempted to take cover themselves, opting not to be turned into melted puddles either.

Across the plaza, Guin heard parts of what Kalique attempted to convey, the sounds of a battle near the knight breaking up the commands quite drastically. Undeterred, Guin knew that things had escalated beyond what one knight might be able to do and therefore they would need reinforcements and quick.

While the Empire had some assets nearby, they would not be close enough to provide the support that was needed. Fortunately for such discrete operations, the ISB could sometimes deploy these critical resources to support their operations. As this had been one such task, it only took her emergency message to be sent off before the gears of war began turning.

"I don't know if you can hear me, but help is coming. Just hold on!"

Oh how she wished for her lightsabers in this moment...the turret started firing and all she could still do- given the chaotic hail of blaster bolts - was do dive behind a pile of rubble that had literally just fallen of a tall building in a huge chunk. With the dusk in the air, she began coughing, however knew she wasn't safe were she was at.

Had Guin received her message via the comms? She had no idea, but she had to take out that turret first. Remembering the exact position, she reached out with the Force once again, targeting the automated enemy by doing what she had practiced just a few days ago. She focused an immense heat at a random spot within the turret, frantically creating a friction while bending metal until it suddenly went of in a powerful explosion.

While she had no intention of actually harming the other side, she had to defuse this conflict by damange control. With the turret down, she could leave her cover and press onwards, having one of the armed vehicles with the multiple canons as her next target.

While knowing that attacking such a bulky, armored vehicle, the people inside were a clear weak spot, so instead of intending to blast this thing or whirl it around, she reached inside it and grabbed whatever body parts she could find. The result was that the woman driving the thing was violently yanked out of her seat by the calves, having to realize that a seatbelt would have been off help in this case, but it was too late for her now.

Laying sprawled in the footwell, Kalique koed the woman from afar, however as her focus laid on the vehicle, she became the victim of a grazing shot which then broke her focus before she could handle the next one. Wincing in pain, she was forced to retreat into a narrow alleyway to her left. Hissing, she briefly inspected the wound before she closed her eyes and tried to focus. Guin's message came in then, however so cut off that Kalique wasn't entirely sure whether reinforcement was on its way, but what she also couldn't see from her secluded position that the front row of Governor's men and women was now storming into the townsqare, also getting closer to Guinevere's location...

The one-woman superhero team made good progress clearing out the bad guys in front of her, even managing to disable one of the armored vehicles. In the midst of combat, however, there was no time to cheer or give thanks, as blaster fire still littered the air with its savage and visceral sounds.

Through the chaos, the lieutenant was still trying to reach Kalique on the comms and could only hope that the message was getting through. "If you can hear me, you need to get confirmation that our forces can descend from orbit to help otherwise command won't launch." They didn't exactly have a lot of firepowers available to them, but any air support was better than none and that would easily take care of the vehicles, then a platoon or two to mop up and secure the site until the governor was either taken down or captured.

Guin spotted a handful of gunpersons heading her way and she ducked for cover while trying to figure out what to do next. With only a small blaster pistol and a bottle full of nerves, it didn't seem like the best time to act out her favorite holovid, with the results likely being somewhat different than imagined.

Seeing an open door, she darted for the opening hoping that she wouldn't have been seen by the hostiles. It wasn't hiding after all, it was a tactical retreat into a safe extraction point. Noticing the stairs, it was a good thing that Kalique wasn't with her as Guin scaled them quickly.

Meanwhile, the governor was growing increasingly frustrated by his team's lack of progress in taking out a single woman, who appeared to be holding back everything. Hiding behind several vehicles his loud voice boomed over a megaphone during a sudden lull in the combat as each side took a moment to catch their breaths.

"You have no business here, leave now or I'll be forced to enact measures that will be entirely your own fault!!" And by measures of course he implied hurting the civilians that were attempting to take cover around the plaza. One of the vehicles turned its turret towards the direction of the cafe but held its fire awaiting orders.

Pressed against the wall, Kalique breathed flatly while she had to grimace at the point she was in for a moment. This wasn't supposed to go this way and she found it frustrating how entrenched the situation was right now. Calling onto the Force to focus again, Kalique decided that she could still try her best to take out more massive guns to lower the overall collateral damage.

She was about to spring back out as Guinevere's message reached her, this time more clearly. Kriff. She had a point though. It wouldn't look good if the Empire just came crashing down and started to slay the 'army' that was closing in on the plaza. "Copy that...Will try" she breathed before she peered around the corner, waiting for a fitting moment before she made a run for it.

With the Force coiled around her she was protecting herself from incoming blasted bolts, but lucky for her, there were no bigger guns fired at her. She rounded the corner and made her way back to the podium where she frantically searched for the authorities only to realize they had fled.

Throughout the chaos, she scanned the crowd and finally spotted a man with a badge who looked like he had at least something to say and so while keeping her head low, she raced over to him behind his cover. Sliding behind the speeder, she joined him, but while he just yelled at her to run, she immediately interrupted him.

"Sir, I'm no Civilian. With your permission we can make this stop immediately. The Empire has arrived to help" he was staring at her wide-eyed as if not even comprehending Basic, but the desperation was clearly palpable. "The Em...Empire" he repeated confusedly, directing his head up to the sky before he faced her again.

Despite his bewildered look, it seemed like in the heat of the moment he was just relying on what the stranger said. Okay, maybe Kalique had used the Force once again to sway his mind and speed things up a little, but it didn't matter as it simply worked.

The man started barking commands in his comms and that Council Lady Aenys should be informed while they kept cowering behind the speeder until he suddenly gained the clearance and nodded to her. "Call them in Delevigne! Call them in! Guinevere?!". Was she even listening? Time was clearly running against them.

The civilians fleeing the governor's forces had largely gotten away by now but that didn't stop them from cornering a few. Scores of people lay hiding inside the buildings all around the plaza with little elsewhere to go, had a vehicle started firing it would have resulted in terrible losses and a tremendous amount of damage.

Guin had managed to find herself breaching through the door leading out onto the top of a building to give herself a much better situational awareness of what was going on. As she reached the edge she spotted what she could only imagine was Kalique speaking with someone. A huge sense of relief charged through her body knowing that she was okay and had gotten through the worst of it. She could barely make sense of the wave of emotion before the message came through as an all-clear.

Putting aside her feelings, Guin keyed in the secure message to the commander above them. The photos she was quickly able to take and send to the fleet showed clearly where the hostiles were and would allow for some precision in where best to land their supporting complement. It did not take very long for the first sounds of help to arrive, everyone in the plaza would hear the very familiar sound of a TIE diving down to make an attack.

In a flash, the remaining vehicles were hit by accurate TIE strikes rendering them out of the picture. What crews lived, managed to bail out and begin to flee leaving the governor to abandon his and hide behind a group of soldiers.

Keying her comm again, she called out for Kalique. "They're here, you can finish this." A Kappa-class shuttle descended just a short distance from the plaza and out of sight from the hostiles, shortly a platoon of about forty troopers started to enter and sweep for signs of hostiles. The group near the cafe promptly dropped their guns and ran, leaving only a small core of men and women protecting the governor.

As the speeder in front of them that was previously serving as a natural barrier started to fume, she grabbed the Officer and yanked him onwards. They dove for the ground right next to him, closely dodging the explosion of the speeder. "What the-?!", he looked at her bewildered, before he added, "thank you...". With a nod as a reply, she motioned for him to keep moving while she shielded them from incoming blaster bolts as they ran.

"We have to leave this plaza...there's nothing you and your men can do!" she urged him onwards until they reached safety behind a towering building. For the rest of the battle in the proximity, Kalique focused on getting more Civilians out of this place, however not seeing Guin anymore.

"Are you safe?" she asked through the comms as she deflected another bolt with the Force, however realizing how quickly her strength was fading. Before Guin could answer, Kalique heard how through all the noise, ships were approaching. She glanced upwards in relief to spot the TIE-Fighters that were immediately targeting the armored vehicles that still wrecked havoc on the city.

"Tell them to keep casualties to a bare minimum!" again, she was adressing Guin, hoping she was capable of responding before Kalique sprinted into a side street. "I'll get the Governor". He wouldn't just get out of this...not after he had chosen to endanger Civilians and Kalique was convinced that right now, he was running.

Using the alleys parallel to the main road, Kalique passed multiple fleeing and crying Civilians who were frightened beyond belief. She was furious about what this douchebag had been capable of and was headed right to his manner to end this properly. Without having directly witnessed his retreat, it was her knowledge of people that kept her going.

Rounding a few more corners, she finally reached the avenue that led to the Governor's mansion where no TIE Fighter was currently engaged, so that she knew she was on her own on this. It still seemed like she arrived right on time as a series of vans was coming to meet her, driving down the driveway and headed for the road right as she arrived.

"I need support at the mansion!" she informed the other woman, hoping aerial support was soon to join her but with her last stamina she reached out with the Force and into the first vehicle of the evacuation convoy and messed with the steering wheel by gripping it. Violently yanking at it, she let the first van hit the fence, so that it was blocking the driveway. Not having kept a safe distance, the second vehicle was driving right into it, culminating in the perfect congestion of the driveway and preventing any of them from leaving. This guy wouldn't escape. He'd stand trial for what he'd done.

The little battle was over just as quickly as it had started, as the professional soldiers of the empire made their presence known. The ragtag group of gunmen was happy to shoot at a handful of lightly armed security and civilians but against soldiers. no chance. Several either promptly dropped their guns and raised their hands or attempted to run and escape like rats.

The governor chuckled to himself as he intended to trick Kalique into negotiating while he escaped. A short trip back home and he'd attempt to sneak off-world before anyone could come looking for him with cuffs. With the money he had hidden away, he could live a pretty comfortable life somewhere on the outer rim.

A flurry of messages came through on the comms from Kalique and Guin was doing her best to pass on the vital intel from her little perch. Keying back to her, she said with concern in her voice. "I'm safe, please take care."

The imperial forces did their best to avoid shooting unnecessarily, capturing and securing the plaza while Kalique raced off on her own. The civilians were still hesitant to come out but those caught in the open were starting to be checked by medical officers.

"Send support to these coordinates, the governor is attempting to flee." She hoped that the message would be sent in time to be of help to her companion, shortly after a squad of troopers started hiking towards the mansion but they'd still have to catch up. A TIE also would turn and start to make its way over, to provide support.

Next Guin waved down a nearby platoon leader and signaled him to come up to her location to help coordinate.
