Tazlen quirked a brow as Wax suggested that something was waiting for them, “Isn’t that a bad thing?” He mused, but followed the other Jedi regardless. He glanced back towards Maura, “Keep your head low, okay? Stick close to the others,” He gestured towards Quin and Drow. Both men looked more than capable. While Tazlen agreed with the fundamental principles of sticking together, he also could see the argument for ensuring all bases were covered.

The Jedi stepped towards the right door, casting a few glances back towards Maura. He had to resist the urge to call out to her to come with them, but this path could be just as dangerous if not more. With a sigh, he turned and began to walk through the doors.

Though he said nothing, Veer couldn’t help the way his features immediately tugged downward and into a scowl. He listened to the eerie message from some random, malnourished individual, heard the static and watched as the doors sealed behind them. It all left the Axxilan with a dozen different question - but only one of those questions lingered at the forefront of his mind.

What were they trying to contain?

Moments passed, and Veer finally shifted the helmet under his arm and slid it down over his head - allowing the piece of armor to click into place. He didn’t know what was waiting for them through those doors, but Veer wasn’t going to take any chances - immediately clicking on his Vision HUD to peer through the low, flickering lights.

The Axxilan didn’t protest as the Sith collectively started to go their own direction, and deliberately made no move to follow them. If Gods were kind, the lot of them would trip on their own lightsabers or otherwise fuck off and die in short order. His gaze instead flicked between the two divergent groups of Jedi. Judging purely on numbers, he opted to follow Wax and Tazlen to even the groups. Of course, he didn’t do so before giving Maura a jut of his chin. “He’s right - best we split evenly to cover all our bases. Besides, I’m sure you’ll be able cover their asses just fine without us,” He grinned beneath the helmet.

Veer follows Taz and Wax.

The invisible eyes of the Station watched as those that had gathered made their choices. Choices that right now seemed neither wrong nor right, but would in the minutes and hours to come be the most pivotal ones they could have made. So innocuous, almost rudimentary it all probably seemed.

Though, in time, each would come to learn that couldn't have been further from the truth.

The Center Choice

As the First Blade and his three daggers passed through the large double doors they would find themselves in the large central chamber of the Station. Massive in comparison to where they'd just come from, it would be hard to even make out the other end of the circular room through the barely functioning emergency lights.

As they pressed further into the room, the door they had just passed through would thrum with the sound of electricity as it locked behind them. A moment later, a series of metal blast doors would slide in place, sealing the path they'd just come from.

Once their eyes - or lack thereof, considering - adjusted more to the gloam a large, the most obvious thing thing that would stand out to them would be a large glass tube in the center of the room that stretched from floor to ceiling. Inside, an obvious button panel with an up arrow and down arrow would be visible.

Before they could go much further, though, the strange static sound they'd heard in the hanger area would blare from the various screens and terminals in the main chamber. To the keen eared it would sound different, though. Somehow both more human and more machine-like at the same time.

An image of of what almost looked like a face would accompany the sounds on every screen that could display video.

Just as quickly as it had come the sound and images would fade. In various spots around the room red orbs would spring to life, glowing harshly in the near darkness. Eight strange creatures would begin converging on the group of four, their glowing red eyes unblinking, devoid of any humanity that might have once been there.

The Left Choice

The left path was the most straight forward of the choices. A short L-shaped hallway laid in front of them. As they would take the hard left turn, it would lead directly to a set of stairs that would head downward. On the wall was a sign that read "Research and development.

If they took the stairs down, it would descend nearly ten flights until they were faced with laboratory doors. On the wall was one of those keycard swipers, though it appeared to be offline. If they tried the door they would find it to be locked, though through they would still be able to see through the windows.

Beyond the doors they would see numerous vats reminiscent of bacta tanks. Some were empty, others had the tank glass shattered and strewn about on the floor, and others contained floating bodies in various forms of dismemberment. Closest to the doors were four vats where the contents were more than clearly visible.

Vaguely human torsos hung suspended in some sort of viscous liquid, tubes and other forms of technology going every which way in and out of their bodies. If the group took a closer look, they would even see that the torsos were breathing, however shallow those breaths might have been.

They would be faced with a choice: Try to find a way into the lab to investigate the horrific debauchery inside, or turn back the way they'd come.

The Right Choice

What lay beyond the door on the right wouldn't be obvious at first. Wax, Tazlen and Veer would be met with a hallway that seemed abnormally wide. The floor was old tile worn down much more down the center than along the sides. That kind of tile you saw in cafeterias or hospitals. The kind it was easy to push wheels down.

As they rounded a corner, they'd notice old gurneys against the walls that had been long abandoned.

At closer inspection, it might stand out to them that these gurneys weren't quite what you would see in any normal hospital. On the sides and the bottom were thick leather shackles meant to hold wrists and ankles, each with a durasteel lock.

The gurneys looked well used - the bedding was dingy and stained faintly orange in some spots. The resistance soldier would probably recognize it as old blood, washed a hundred times over. But it never really did come out, did it?

If they pushed further, it would almost seem like the hallway was endless. Much too long to really make sense. Eventually another set of double doors would greet them, though one of the doors had been knocked clean off its hinges and laid haphazardly on the floor.

On the wall beyond the doors were two signs. An arrow pointing left and beneath it read "Extraction." An arrow pointing to the right and beneath that one read "Implementation."

Trace wished she weren't wearing a blindfold so that she could have rolled her eyeballs all the way out of her head, across the floor, and back out into space. 'Hey guys, we shouldn't split up' and they immediately split up. Typical Jedi.

Maybe it was for the best anyway. She'd have other Sith at her back and then she didn't have to be worried about being stabbed by the Jedi. Unfortunately, it also meant fewer meat shields.

Regardless, she pressed onward, saber still in her hand from her mild jump-scare with the hangar doors, but the eerie feelings didn't subside. In fact, they seemed to only get worse the further on they pressed, another shrill sound of electronic vocalization that was entirely not human causing her to jump again.

Kriff, I wish they'd stop doing that, she growled before sighing. She let the Force continue to sweep around her before noting the creatures that were coming from amidst the darkness and gloom. That was the advantage of not needing eyes and why Miraluka had stopped using them long ago.

Eyes up, something's coming! she exclaimed, warning the others just before they would be visible and potentially buying them a few extra moments.

Eight so stay alert. I'm bringing one to us, she said. They were outnumbered, but dividing and conquering the weak could still be valuable. She pulled on the one closest to them with at the Force, looking to drag it across the ground, isolate it, and finish it off with a horizontal blow from her lightsaber.

It was only when it got a bit closer that she made out some of the details of the creature and the... almost human vibe that it gave off in the Force. It seemed almost... unnatural.

Trace warns the group of the incoming enemies, force pulls one of them to isolate it, and strikes with a horizontal cut to try to kill it

Glancing back, Quin would give a nod in Wax and Tazlen’s direction as Maura came over to join him and Drow. Both sentiments expressed by the two men were fair— he couldn’t forgive himself either if something happened to the Padawan, and the best way to stay safe was to keep their small group together. Though he was having some doubts about leaving the others, the choice had already been made.

“Right. Let’s get moving.” Assuming that the Ishi Tib had entered the door first, he would let Maura follow before finally going in himself. If something hostile were to come up from behind, he would rather have his own back exposed than the Padawan’s.

He made his way down the stairs after the others, occasionally glancing behind him just to check if there was someone following them. Soon the lab doors came into view, and Quin would join the others outside. Peering in, his gaze immediately went to the misshapen human torsos and the tubes that stuck into them every which way. He could even see some of them breathing, and that somehow made it even more creepy. But if they wanted to help the man or maybe even stop “it”, they’d have to go through.

“I think we should check it out. There might be some clues in there as to what’s going on,” he said, a hint of hesitation in his tone as he glanced at the others. “Maura and I have lightsabers— we can cut through, if we’re all in.”

Quin offers to open the door with Maura if the others agree to go into the lab

Looking back he noticed literally every Jedi immediately split up. It was ridiculous how foolish their decision making was. You'd think they'd listen to the ones who win these kinds of fights. Nevertheless Draugr just scoffed and kept forward. At least he had Trace and Anai and some IG droid. The Sith Master had a team that seemed capable enough for something like this.

When the door shut and locked behind them, the Sith Master kept forward. His face unamused more than anything. Then the screen with matrix looking man on it appeared speaking some gibberish that wasn't understandable. The Zabrak looked to ignore it but it seemed Trace had been on edge this whole time. Each thing happening was like a jump scare for the Champion. Draugr chose not to comment, which worked out well because she continued to find incoming mutilations of cyborgs. Each one uglier than the other.

When the Miralukan force pulled one in to split it in half, Draugr knew he had to fight now. Using the force, he would pull two of them and slam against the walls of the hall repeatedly until they would either power down or break entirely. He knew he had Trace and Anai and a Droid of their own to ensure that any blaster fire coming in would be blocked. This was something the Sith trained on no matter who was their partner. Teamwork was the key to success and once the mission was finished, any beef can be squandered properly.

In some cases that rule can be broken, but for now it seemed working together was the choice Sith were sticking to. If the Jedi were here they could learn a thing or two.

Draugr repeatedly slams two of the thingies into the walls opposite of each with the force cause he lives that thug life.

"Appreciate the offer kid" Drow told Quin when the young Jedi followed him in order to make sure that no one was fighting alone. While Drow was more than capable of handling himself, he was glad of the company and felt comfortable, knowing he would be able watch over the two younger Jedi.

And it looked like everyone might very well need backup with all the truly creepy shit that was behind those doors. Drow had seen a lot of his atrocities in his time, both as a mercenary and as a Jedi, but the sight within almost turned the Ishi Tib's stomach.

"I'll cover you but once we're in, stay sharp. From the looks of it, we may have stumbled on an organ harvesting operation and they tend not to like surprise visitors."Drow warned Quin and Maura, giving his best guess as to who could be behind this awful scene they found themselves witnessing.

TLDR: Drow covers Maura and Quin while they slice open the door.

Maura felt just a mild betrayal as Tazlen, Wax, and the other dude split off and took the right-side door. Keep an eye on her, Wax said. Keep your head low, Tazlen added. Maura just watched in disbelief, her eyes wide and eyebrows downturned. They were leaving her alone? In this creepy place?

Quin spoke up about getting a move on, and Maura quickly remembered that she wasn't actually alone. She was still with Quin, and with the other dude too. She was probably more upset about not getting her way than anything else really, and though she would have much preferred to tag along in a group of six than three, it wasn't going to stop her from exploring. After all, exploring was Maura's third favorite thing, right after food and datapad games.

"OKAY! SEE YOU GUYS LATER!" she shouted to Tazlen and Wax, cupping her hands around her mouth to send the sound further after the disappearing group. As soon as they disappeared from sight, she turned and followed the Ishi Tib down the ten flights of stairs. With nothing but blank walls and endless staircases, the padawan quickly became plagued by both boredom and nerves.

"What do you think's gonna be down here?" she asked aloud to the two of them, jumping her fingers along the railing at random intervals. "And what do you think the TV person was gonna say? Don't go where? Stay away from what?" Maura's nose scrunched up, and she flung herself around from one set of stairs to another before continuing. "This place looks super abandoned. Do you think there's secret tunnels? Or maybe we can find an open vent and I can crawl into the ventilation systems and find secret rooms!"

Actually, maybe, that might be a bad idea, she figured. They were already split up, so they definitely shouldn't split up any further. That was like, the second worst thing people did in the horror movies she'd watched. Split up and walk into totally obviously creepy places that are obviously hiding monsters that would attack them.

Just as they were about to reach the bottom of the staircase, Maura realized she hadn't introduced herself to the Ishi Tib. "Oh! My name's Maura, by the way. And this is Master Leonkri. I'm a padawan and he's a knight now! What's yours?"

Before Maura could ask anymore questions or continue her nervous chattering, the group reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Are they breathing?" There was a hint of horror in the padawan's voice as she, like the others, noticed the dismembered bodies in the bacta tanks. She was torn between wanting to investigate and being completely freaked out by what she saw. But Quin had already suggested they cut through, and the other guy offered to cover them.

"Anything happens, message us at once." <We found a buncha dead breathing bodies in tanks,> Maura explained into the comlink on her utility belt. <We're gonna investigate!> With that, the padawan released the talk button, unclipped her saber, and ignited it, leaving a violet hue in the room. Along with Quin, she slowly pushed the blade of her saber into the door, and together the two of them would hopefully be able to carve out a circle big enough for them to duck through.

Maura talks all the way down the stairs.
After seeing the weird bodies, she informs Tazlen and Wax over her comlink.
She then begins to help Quin carve an opening in the door.

IG-101 had never seen anything like the half-man half-droid cyborgs before. He'd met one or two humanoids who had augmented their bodies with machinery, but nothing like this. It seemed as if they had been tortured- torn apart and put back together again and again. Whatever they were, they weren't good.

With electrostaff in hand, crackling with purple electricity, Buddy stood his ground when the creatures charged his group. Why had the Jedi decided to split up?! If they were here, they'd be able to quickly subdue the horrid creatures. What if the others were outnumbered? What would they do without the strength of numbers?

Buddy chose two of the oncoming targets and would swing his electrostaff to hit one in the face while quickly twisting and aiming to jab the other in the torso. The Ranger had programmed speed and efficiency on his side, and hopefully it would prove to enough.

Buddy goes to bat one spooky in the face and then stab another in the stomach.

The Kaleesh champion obviously knew about the combinations of flesh and metal, for their greatest deity of all time was a warrior reborn in circuitry, someone made of pure technology in a race that usually knew of nothing but the most rudimentary of instruments. This, however...Was different, these were no warriors, they were monsters, creatures that looked like they were devoid of all willpower, walking husks of what they once were, the metal was not a blessing but rather a curse...So she would put them out of their misery.

As the strange creatures converged around them, Anai would decide to approach two in particular, trusting the others would intervene if one of their pairs tried to go for her, hoping to meet them at a halfway point. As she did that, the Kaleesh warrior called upon the force to violently pull one of the two creatures she had in sight towards the other, trying to make them collide, lose the footing and use that chance to cut both of them in half.

By now the Kaleesh was sure they had been led into a trap, for even the stupidest of survivors wouldn't have closed the doors on them that way otherwise. Anai would make sure to find and kill whoever had led them in here, for the sith were always the hunters, never the prey.

Using the force to slam one creature against the other in order to make them stumble and go for a double kill with the lightsaber.

Tazlen took a moment to inspect the doors that had been taken off the hinges. He wanted to see if he could get a clue as to what caused it - Closer inspection and it looked as if something broke out from there and escaped, “Something came out from the other side…” Tazlen sighed, “Well I don’t think splitting up again is a good idea,” He said with a grimace. This place was strongly giving him the creeps. What the hell took the doors off like that and which way did the person or thing go?

“Did you see those gurneys and straps?” Tazlen asked, “This place seems like some sort of asylum or something to hold violent patients,” Suddenly he felt many pangs of regret for letting Maura (@lizziie ) go her own way. He brought up his comlink and messaged her to ask how they were faring before looking up at his group.

“All right well… Implementation sounds slightly less terrifying than extraction so let’s go that way. It may also be where whatever came from extraction side ran so we may need to bring it down,” Tazlen grumbled. He kept alert for any noises, his Annfyn ears hopefully providing him some clues ahead of time. He also sniffed for anything suspicious. He began to walk down the hallway towards Implementation. Every now and then he made the group pause so he could listen for anything up ahead.

Wax didn't like where this whole situation seemed to be headed. If the gurneys had been used to strap in patients as Taz seemed to suggest, he couldn't help but wonder where all the patients went. Not just out of concern for everyone in the facility, but also for the patients themselves.

"Alright," he replied to Taz's suggestion once the other knight had contacted Maura and the others, "sounds like a plan." Beginning to walk after Tazlen, he kept his eyes open for anything odd, and his ears ready to pick up anything that might further add to the creepy factor of the place. He had to do his very best to not blurt out about having a bad feeling about the whole thing.

Wax follows Taz down the path towards Implementation.

For the first several minutes, Veer was silent - walking in close formation with Tazlen and Wax down the endless hallway. With his Vision HUD activated, he allowed his gaze to travel his surroundings - cautiously attempting to pick up even the slightest hint of movement or heat signature that might’ve indicated something stalking them out of sight. The entire space station screamed bad news, and the Axxilan wasn’t about to take any chances getting ambushed by.. Whatever was down there.

The Bounty Hunter glanced down to the door that Tazlen mentioned, his eyes narrowing ever-so-slightly at the clear signs of blunt force damage that had removed it from its hinges. His fingers tighten just a hair tighter around his rifle - lingering close to the trigger just in case. “No argument here, boss.” He said towards Tazlen. While he had no qualms seeing the Imp bitches fuck off to who knew where, Veer wasn’t about to take any chances by splitting up further.

He listened at what Tazlen suggested, and couldn’t help but run through everything he’d seen so far. Veer thought back to the warning that the mysterious man had given them - claiming that he had to keep ‘something’ contained. He thought back to the secure gurneys, and tiles that gave the facility an almost medical atmosphere.

“Not an asylum, I don’t think.” He muttered, continuing to watch his surroundings as he spoke. “Y'know I’ve heard of some fucked up shit out in the Outer Rim and Hutt Space.. Space Stations and secret facilities dedicated to generic experimenting and chemical weaponry.” He jutted a chin. “Think about it. Dude mentioned trying to keep something locked in here - and you saw those gurneys and the blood.. What if this place is something similar? Maybe they lost control of whatever they were experimenting on.”

He grimaced. “Maybe that’s what they’re trying to keep from getting out.” The thought caused Veer’s stomach to churn. The Axxilan didn’t linger on it for long, following Wax and Tazlen down into the Implementation room. Her continued to watch for any signs of movement within hallway, occasionally glancing back over his shoulder to double-check nothing was following them from behind or coming from the Extraction room.

Silently, he flicked his rifle from its default stun and into lethal.

Veer gives his own theory about the facility and continued going towards the Implementation room. He keeps his Vision HUD on and glances over his shoulder to watch their back.

The Center Choice

The Sith and their pet Droid sprung into action quickly, as was their nature. Stab and slice now, ask questions later might have gotten them to where they are, but it wasn’t always the best course of action. Of course, trying to convince them of that would be like pulling teeth. Though, all things considered, pulling teeth might have been a more pleasurable experience for them all.

The beasts themselves were not particularly formidable, at least not for these well trained Sith. Trace’s attempt to isolate one of the monsters from the group and slice it in two would be successful, though she might notice something strange as her lightsaber carved through it.

While it appeared mostly mechanical, there were distinctive signs of organic material strewn throughout the monster. It had lungs, viscous black sludge that acted as blood, a beating heart. Most importantly, as the machine slumped to the floor, she would see it had a human brain.

Likewise, Anai would have similar success to Trace and if she were perceptive, would notice the same things. Various organic materials are intricately intertwined with the mechanical, but most importantly: humanoid brains crammed full of foreign cybernetics.

Darth Draugr, while achieving his goal, would not notice many of these intricacies. Smashing the beasts into the wall until they stopped moving, while effective, left the Zabrak bereft of details that more intimate forms of killing would have granted him.

The group wouldn’t know it, but IG-101 was by far in the most danger. The beast that hadn’t been engaged by the others immediately moved in on the droid, though it wasn’t to tear him limb from limb. No, it was for something far, far more insidious.

The two beasts IG-101 engaged would take his attacks, something the droid would find odd. They didn’t even attempt to maneuver around them. Instead, they were merely trying to distract him. They would press into his personal space, looking to jump directly on top of him.

The single beast that hadn’t been engaged by anyone moved into position. A metallic tentacle emerged from its palm and snaked directly for one of IG-101’s I/O sockets. While the droid was distracted with the two monsters he’d engaged with, there would be little he could do to prevent this invasion of his ports.

Would the villains find it in their hearts to aid someone not like them? Or was it already too late, the damage already done.

Only time would tell.

The Left Choice

Before she began cutting through the door, Maura would have noticed a strange feedback from her commlink when she tried talking into it. A garbled mix of guttural whining and static, similar to what those in the center room would have heard though the young Jedi would have no idea about that. Her message would not have made it through.

The lightsabers would make quick work of the door to the lab. As the trio moved further into the room, glass from the broken tanks would crunch loudly beneath their feet. The aggressive aroma of death and decay emanating from the tanks would strike their nostrils, an almost hostile stench of cadaverine, putrescine and stale formaldehyde.

Passing by any of the tanks that still contained the torsos of the poor souls trapped inside would elicit a strange feeling from the Jedi. Silent, invisible agony would pull at their senses like clammy fingers caressing their brains. If any of them had ever felt the darkside, it would remind them of it, but in that way something was only vaguely reminiscent. Darkness and evil but somehow.. Different. Somehow worse.. More insidious.

The longer the three stayed in the lab, the more they would feel it. The more it would feel like eyes watching them their every move. The more it would feel like something was in the room with them even though nothing was.

Like the rest of the Station, the power to this room still seemed to be running on nothing but emergency provisions. As such, the numerous computer terminals scattered around the lab - evidence that at least at some point, this area housed a good number of scientists or researchers - all appeared inoperable.

That was, of course, except for one. One terminal in particular that stood out from the rest because its screen still shone, its fans still whirred, its processors still hummed along as if everything was normal.

The Right Choice

Like his friend Maura who’d tried to contact him, Tazlen would also notice that his commlink would offer him nothing but garbled nonsense and static when he tried to radio his compatriots. His message would not be heard.

The hallway leading into the implementation chamber was long, but otherwise devoid of any true dangers. The tire tracks on the tile would show them that many gurneys had been pushed this way, likely coming from the extraction area. As Tazlen Veer, and Wax rounded a final corner, they’d be met with another set of unlocked double doors.

Passing through them would lead directly into the implementation chamber. Unfortunately for the group, this chamber might have been the most horrific place they could have stumbled into.

Down the center of the chamber was what seemed like some kind of trough, filled with human heads and lined with technology. On either side of the trough were similar looking heads, though these ones were attached to droid bodies. Metal tubes connected their heads together, each of their mouths covered.

Robotic arms, frozen in place from lack of sufficient power, ended in both manipulator claws and syringes. At the head of the trough was a larger looking droid body with a human head that looked like it would have acted as some sort of supervisor to the others.

If the group would start to investigate, it would become clear that “implementation” was some kind of mad scientist's experiment, implanting technology far beyond mere cybernetics into humanoid hosts. Most specifically, into their brains. Whatever bodies these heads used to own were nowhere to be found.

Exactly what this was meant to achieve was still murky, though it would be quite obvious that whatever was happening here was so far beyond unethical that it rivaled the darkest and most sinister acts ever perpetrated against other living beings.

The energy of the force whipped and whirled in this room, a dark tempest of suffering and success at any cost. Tazlen and Wax would struggle to focus here. Calling on the force would be difficult, like forcing a square peg through a round hole. The harder they tried the more the force itself would resist them.

All three men would feel incomprehensible whispers caress their ears, soft warm breaths from no apparent source. Though they couldn’t understand it, they would feel its beckoning. An invisible force that longed to be heard, so desperately.

There were secrets in this room that were not immediately noticeable. A computer console tucked into the corner, a desk filled with notes. They would only need to push past the feelings of uneasy despair and look to find them.

Although, some secrets were better left buried.

Trace found her saber passing through the metallic... flesh with ease. Wait, that couldn't have been right. Surely, she had made a mistake in what she had sensed. No... as the gooey mess began to seep out onto the floor, there was no mistaking that these were... cyborgs. Or something along those lines.

She didn't have much time to ponder it as she could also sense that the enemy was descending upon their droid ally. The truth was that Trace may not have cared much for the droid, but she did care for herself and her comrades. Losing allies was detrimental if it could be avoided, so - having been the first to attack and therefore the first to finish off her target - she leapt at the droids attacking @IG-101 and sent her saber through one of them with deft precision, looking to chop it in two before it could manage to... couple with him.

If anything, Quin was glad that Maura didn’t seem to be completely perturbed by the sight in the room. He could tell that she was nervous, but she wasn’t letting it get the better of her. It was a good sign considering what else they might find inside.

“I think so,” he said back to her in a low voice. “Just remember what the others said and stay close once we’re in. We can cover each other.” He echoed Drow’s words, and it was partially to reassure himself. The thought of this being an organ harvesting facility didn’t give him a pleasant feeling at all, and he hoped with all his heart that the Ishi Tib was wrong on that note.

When they finished cutting through the door, Quin would step in, immediately noticing the change in atmosphere of the place. It was… discomforting, to say the least. It felt colder, and his hand gripped his lightsaber hilt even tighter. But then a bright screen caught his eye. It was the only one that was on, and he wondered if it would have any information on what all of this was.

He glanced at Drow and Maura, tilting his head slightly in the direction of the computer. “If this really is an organ harvesting operation… that might give us a clue.” He moved over to get a closer look. Anything was better than standing still and waiting for that feeling of dread to take over.

Quin goes to look at the computer

Buddy did not think the strange robots would react the way he did after using lethal force. They took the hits as if they had been hit with a pillow, though the areas in which the electrostaff made contact would tell a different story. They didn't fear pain- or death for that matter, and it unnerved the IG unit, but held his ground none the less.

"Sorry, friends, but weren't their eight of-" His question would soon be answered as the last creature jammed something into his own I/O socket. The feeling of losing himself to whatever was attacking him made the droid panic- but he couldn't seem to move himself from this strange paralysis. All he could do was try to use the force of his own will to resist the other droid and wait for a miracle to free himself in time to counter the first two droids he had attacked.

Anai took mental note of what she had noticed after dispatching two of the creatures, flesh and metal made them whole...But they were beasts nonetheless, beasts that couldn't resist the strength of a lightsaber. They fell quite easily all things considered, or so she thought before she turned around and realized not everyone had as much luck with their own cybernetic monsters.

So Anai wasted no time, quickly throwing her lightsaber towards the one that was using the strange tentacle to get way too intimate with that poor droid, aiming to cut its head and said tentacle before returning back to her. She might not have an actual connection with the droid, but the sith champion had a semblance of honour, not one to abandon her teammates, sith or not. This cheery droid had her protection as long as she was not forced to choose to save the other two.

Saber throw to save the droid from stranger danger.

"My commlink isn't working..." Maura grumbled as she cut through the door. How was she supposed to contact Tazlen and Wax if something bad happened? But the girl didn't have much more time to think about that before she and Quin successfully broke into the room. Time to venture forth into the creepy unknown...

Maura gagged upon entering the room, her sensitive nose picking up the chemicals smells and more. It took the padawan a second to get herself together, and she immediately grabbed a fistful of her shirt and pressed it up against her nostrils. It was only then that she noticed the atmospheric change in the room too, sending shivers down the back of her spine and reminding her deeply of the corrupted Kyber crystal's aura. It permeated everything in the room, and the girl suddenly had no desire to put her hands near anything.

"I'll um, keep watch." Maura wanted to touch nothing in the room. She had a feeling that there were too many bad memories here, and she did not want to find out what they were.

The padawan kept her lightsaber held out to light up the room a bit more, and nervously looked around.

"Do you think they're actually alive? Or do they just look like it?" she asked quietly, her eyes locking with one of the breathing dead bodies in the vats.

Maura doesn't touch anything and watches Quin while he or Drow uses the terminal.

While Draugr had been disposing of the two it seemed they had cleaned up shop fairly well. The Zabrak may not have seen what the inside were from his victims, but he could see from the others what remained inside. He wouldn't be completely lost in knowledge there were means of giving him all he needs to succeed in this mission.

As he finished off the creatures, he noticed one had been attacking the droid with them. Anai and Trace had been helping the droid and now Draugr sticks to his own orders, 'Stick together.' The Zabrak used the force on the last cyborg-like creature and pulled it away from IG-101 and flatten it against the ground once it was there he would use a form of lightning against it, but instead of the common blue that came, it would be replaced by a striking green, the attack would last a few seconds looking to fry the beast enough to kill it. Once he felt it would be finished off, he would cut off the lightning and move forward.

"Let's move.. and IG-101," Draugr kept his head forward towards the darkness as he spoke, "You owe us now." Then turning to the droid he would be sure it knows where it's loyalties should lie moving forward. "Trace, take point. You have the best sight out of all of us."

Force pulled the last creepy boi off IG and flattened it on the ground and then used Sith Lightning but green cause Nightsister magicks are fun.
