And well its just several decades after korra so possibly ya u might be earth actually depending on how long the gap is usually between the avatars, and life span

From what I remember the previous avatar does have to die. So it would depend on when Kora died, and its not instant either. It could be anywhere from like 1 to 10 years for another avatar to be born.

Tired of being cooped up at the edge of the world, flooded with strange culture from other nations, and still clinging tightly to the old ways, the New Northern Water Tribe would seek to return the world to the way it was, before Avatar Aang, by force if necessary. What think you?

I would love to do a good gap that way the cycle can go around to me being an airbender. More sci-fi like too since that's why we're all here.

That sounds interesting. I liked the side bending the water benders had. particularly the blood bending was quit.....sinister lol. Ya i think i thought about doing a blind airbender, who uses His high level of sensory sensitivity which enables him like all other airbenders, to detect threats and perceive their surroundings through feeling air currents and the vibrations in the air, similar to how earthbenders use seismic sense to sense their environment using earth.

Actually I showed interest in this due to its lack of fantasy, although a gap could work cause, I assume we won't be making mention of actually character in the show right? So instead you could make up the avatars before you and use them as mentors?

That might be too much of a departure. Keep in mind that bending powers are how a lot of the world operates and propogates bending. There's only so far you can accelerate before technology replaces benders for doing msot stuff. If we take things into the future and make everything tech based, the reason for people to learn bending drops dramatically. We might even see a massive surge in what would have been equalist rhetoric, becoming the mainstream, while bending is all but outlawed in the "civilized" world as nothing but a dangerous martial art for a less civilized age.
