Well, before I wrote the script, I didn't have much, so my guideline was: 'Slightly sassy, perky, somewhat cynical and streetwise.' I didn't know much else about her. I sounded too young? Hm. Maybe later I'll try again and work on sounding older... but it's too late in the day now.
