Ask Yavin IV Beneath the Sun

[Yvain]

The Wookiee reacted quickly which was good, shifting his stance and style to react to the incoming blaster fire. Yvain watched as he moved, he kept his body relaxed as he twisted and turned always moving the blade dancing in the morning sun. He smiled he was better than he originally thought which was another tick on the path to Knighthood. Now let us see how he could handle something a little more difficult.

"Burt, wait for me to move half way down then shoot at me." The little green Jedi said with a smile before he began moving down the hill towards the Padawan. When he was about half way down he shouted towards the Wookiee. "Remember you must not only defend yourself but others." With that he held up his hands, Yvain carried no weapon, he hoped the Padawan would get there fast.

[Wurfuhlla]

The defense for himself was easy enough. It was only two blaster shots coming at a time. The teachings he was taught were paying off. Then the Wookiee Padawan looked over to see Yvain walking towards him. What was the little Knight doing? Then it became quite obvious after the raising of his hands and the words pouring out over who the Padawan would be defending as a Knight. Not just himself but others. Yvain was going to be shot at with no defense.

Noticing only one guard was firing at Yvain, the Wookiee disengaged one of his blades as he ran to Yvain. The other blade that was still ignited continued to deflect the blaster bolts firing his way. Unfortunately Wurfuhlla knew he wouldn't make it all the way to Yvain in time, though what he could do was exactly as he was already starting to do.

With his available hand he reached out to the ground between Yvain and the guard, and then he lifted just enough of the ground to float between the guard and the Knight to stop the blaster fire long enough to allow Wurfuhlla to make it to the Knight and continue to deflect the blaster fire as he was before.

"That's one way to teach a student I guess."

[Yvain]

Perhaps he had misread the speed of the Wookiee and he was going to be shot in the back. The Jedi Knight began pooling The Force within his body, if he needed he would be able to block a blaster bolt with The Force if his life depended on it. He was about to react when the Wookiee pulled the ground up and blocked him from the blaster fire. That was a relief and Yvain allowed The Force power held within him to dissipate.

"You must learn to react quickly, the galaxy does not give you time to consider your actions. The Sith even less so. Now I am wounded carry me to safety." He said with a smirk falling onto the floor beside the Padawan, holding his leg like a Hutt Ball Player tolling from side to side.

[Wurfuhlla]

Wurfuhlla had just let the ground lifted up in the air drop back to the ground. Blocking the blaster bolts with his saber he would listen to what this Jedi Knight was saying. Did he say he's injured? Wurfuhlla used the force to lift a rock that was large enough to block the blaster shots and turned to see that the little Jedi was rolling around like a child that just skid his knee after falling of his scooter. Keep in mind, this is a grown adult.. the Jedi for ya.

"Right, too easy."

The Wookiee reached down and scooped up the little Jedi and strapped him to his back so it was like a piggy back ride. The Padawan would place the rock down as he began deflecting the blaster shots again with his sabers, and looking for a good place to set the Knight at. Then he noticed the homestead that the little Knight was living in. That would undoubtedly be a safe place for him.

Wurfuhlla began running towards the two guards as he safely deflected the blaster shots, he then used the force with one arm to pull the blasters from the hands of the guards. When he noticed they were defenseless, the Padawan used his force roar to send them to their backs on the ground. They would be okay. Now it was time set the 'injured' Knight down in safe place.

[Yvain]

Wookies were always comfortable to ride, their massive shaggy coats like soft pillows. Though Wurfuhlla could do with a bath soon. The tangy smell of sweat took just the edge away from quiet comfort as he bobed along. The Padawan removed the weapons from the two guards, disarming without harm which was a trait for the up and coming Jedi.

After a short moment they arrived at the little hut the Jedi spent his time outside of the Temple tending to his gardens in. Wurfuhlla placed him down next to the hut, "Well done, though I would advise keeping yourself well washed encase you have a damsel you need to rescue." He said with a smile. Standing up and brushing himself down. "I would say your combat skills are well suited for your elevation to Knighthood, as is your understanding of the Light and Dark." Rubbing his head as he thought. "I guess a test of your skill should be next then I would be happy to recommend your elevation to Knighthood young Wurfuhlla."

[Wurfuhlla]

The comment on the washing was a little rude, the Wookiee has been training all day. Nothing he could help. Regardless, Wurfuhlla would be bathing this night. Right before he lay down for slumber. In the meantime he had just completed his second test. It was a little difficult, but of course it was meant to be.

"Skill.. wasn't that just skill? What skill are you talking about?"

It was a valid question, the Wookiee Padawan, Wurfuhlla, was confused on what the Knight meant so he decided to make a big boy decision and ask what the Jedi Knight meant when he said test of skill.

[Yvain]

"A task young one. You have shown me everything it means to be a Jedi on a practice field on a safe planet controlled by the Jedi. The galaxy is a big place and one not so peaceful and easy as here. So a test of your Skill as a Jedi in the big bad galaxy is what will truly determine your fate within the Order." Yvain began walking away from the Wookiee back to his little house, he was hungry and it was well past lunch time by now. "Meet me here tomorrow morning." He called back as he walked through the door.

[Wurfuhlla]

A mission? That would be a great idea! Wurfuhlla has only been on a couple missions. This is always a good experience. Of course it wouldn't be easy. The Wookiee will experience a lot of different things on this journey. The Jedi Knight was walking away to the hut and then told Wurf to be back by tomorrow morning. It was now official, the Wookiee Padawan will be tested for a final time before his opportunity at elevation.

"Yes, of course! I'll be back in the morning!"

Wurfuhlla began to walk back to his quarters. His training for the day was a lot more intense than he expected, but that was a good thing because now he can expect for the unexpected to happen. Soon he will be on his way and closer to becoming a Knight in the Jedi Order.
