Begrudgingly, Sybella had to agree. Sith previously encountered were bruisers, fighting with physical strength as opposed to the Force itself. This one however seemed more adept, not that it mattered; the Jedi knight had proven herself more than capable of holding her own. Enemies underestimating her wasn't anything new.

"Bold of you to assume we are anything akin to equal..."

Dispersing out the flames with a flick of the Force, the silvery-eyed dame would then volt backwards onto the cantina's high-top bar. A wave of her saber then directed the launching of several pieces of furniture; stools and even a table flew threw the air towards the Sith. Some pieces were on fire, others were not. Did Sybella think this would stop him? No. Not really. But she was curious, she wanted to see the true extent of Sith and their capabilities.

Whilst a Jedi's duty lay in the service of helping others, combat and battle were still very much a reality. Others of her Order might content themselves with peace and diplomacy - Sybella, however, sought to end more pressing issues, such as the Sith and their ilk. So long as they existed, the galaxy would never be safe.

Cremeks robe tassets were starting to ember, as he managed to duck and dive most of the thrown items, slicing one, but taking a few smaller items to his side, he grunted, stumbling back, before laughing.

"Well landed!"

He regains his balance, regaining his stamina, he pants a little, before he luaghs once more at her comment.

"Oh but we are, our skill assets may be different, but in the end were both pawns of rival religions. But I do have a question for you, what do you hope to gain from all this destruction caused by the fire, my death, or capture?"

He would of course shuffle to avoid danger, but overall he had yet to move, he was building up the energy to cast something particularly dangerous.

"In the long term all you're causing is pain, I commend you, you probably just burned down a man's entire buisness."

Sybella frowned. This really was nothing more than a game to him; an arguably dangerous mentality to have, especially in combat. The thrill of fighting could turn anyone into a reckless fool, no matter how disciplined they may first appear.

"Unfortunately for you, Sith, I am not in the habit of taking prisoners."

The risk was simply too great. He said it himself; if left alive, the warrior would go on to recruit others. Therefore extending the battle between darkness and light even further than it had already gone. If he hoped to unsettle her with words, he would be sorely disappointed. In Sybella's eyes, the ends always justified the means, whether she liked them or not.

"A necessary sacrifice, I'm afraid. My heart truly bleeds..."

Hadn't she also made sacrifices as well? A decade she had spent, in exile, cut off from her beloved homeworld all because of the Sith and their imperial dictatorship. The years had hardened Sybella's heart. If she had to suffer for the greater good, then so could others.

She did observe one thing, however. "You know, you're overly talkative for a Sith." And no, it wasn't a compliment.

With a swing of a saber, Sybella chopped through one of the building's support beams. With a push of the Force, she shattered another. The upper floor (including the ceiling) started to groan, yet still, Sybella seemed undaunted. "Understand me. I will gladly burn here, so long as you burn with me."

"of course, the jedi acts all so noble, sacrificing herself to stop the evil sith.. typical, not all of us are saber swinging brutes, some are simply scholars of the dark side of the force."

he would shake his head, looking at the roof, before looking back to her.

"sure, you can kill me jedi.. and kill yourself in the process.. but at least I will die knowing I am not a hypocrite, unlike you my dear."

he would designate his brilliant orange saber, and cross his arms, in the end, he knew that the sith were the good in the galaxy, just as much as jedi were, they simply served as a counter balance. it was clear it wasn't a lack of sanity that drove this sith.. but a lack of care for his own personal being, he had nothing, no home to return to, no family to mourn him, he was perfectly okay with dying here.

"and understand me, jedi, that I welcome my demise, an end to the nightmare I have endured for so long, go on.. MAKE MY DAY!! PROVE MY POINT!!"

Even the voice modulator could not hide the near psychotic, no, suicidal, craving for a release.

Biting the inner portion of her cheek, Sybella kept her indifferent mask. How dare he call her a hypocrite. The Sith was no better than a stranger; did he really think he somehow had the moral ground, over her? Delusional. Utterly delusional. Getting rid of him would be doing the galaxy a service; if left alive, there was no telling what kind of a threat he could become.

'So, this is how it ends? With fire and fighting?' Suppose there were worst ways to go.

Taking aim, the Jedi readied the final blow, there was (after all) only one load-bearing pillar left. "So be it..."

Something, however, shoved her. An invisible force. The Sith, perhaps? No. It wasn't strong enough to be an offensive attack, if anything, it was like something was pushing towards-

Sybella was then suddenly knocked right off her feet. She didn't fall however down onto the bar, instead, she was launched through the bar's stained glass window. As the fires raged on within the cantina, a figure, bathed in red could briefly be seen. With molten eyes, it stared at @cremek THE ROSE candorus before fading away, out of sight once more.

The force of the throw was so strong, the knight had tumbled once or twice before finally laying prone in the street outside. Groaning, she could definitely feel shards of broken, embedded glass. At first, she was ready to blame the Sith - typical of his kind, playing dirty. Deceitful, conniving...

'Stupid girl...'

Looking up, the Jedi saw a familiar, scowling visage. "Oh...So it was you."

'Fool. Your death would mean the end of us both.'

"All the better, then..."
A humourless smile briefly tugged at Sybella's lips, though the pain was quick to chase it away.

cremek was utterly dumbfounded, he was no stranger than sith spirits protecting their lines, he had experienced it himself as a child with his mother, he walked over to her, and the spirit, his ancient sith was rusty, but it was better for the fool girl not to understand.

" Kuris Kash M'tye Kia j'us, Vyres?. " who is she to you, elder?

He looked back down at her, he wasn't going to kill her, no-no-no he had a better idea..

Though gaunt in the face, the spectre offered a mirthless grin; she seemed...pleased? In order to record troves of lost knowledge, she had learnt the tongue of the ancient Sith. To find another so devoted - how it delighted her. Up until now, the ghost of the red woman regarded Sybella as if she were little more than an unruly child.

Even now, as the Jedi struggled to stand, she glared and promptly shouted a resounding, "No!"

The spectre, however, spoke out in blatant defiance. ' “Kraujas iv Nuyak Kraujas. Ikuny iv Nuyak Ikuny.”

If looks could kill. Sybella, now only further incensed, banished the offensive spirit from her very sight. Rounding on the Sith, she drew her saber once more in a warning. "You know nothing. This...This means nothing."

"my dear, you have quite the heritage, I can show you how to use it. Think, you and I could make something new, something better." He had his saber out, the brilliant orange saber shining against the flames behind him. his voice returned to how he was before this fight began, calm, and collected. He was too far to strike right away, so he offered his hand. "I can show you how to embrace your birthright, to bring true order to the galaxy, think of what you could accomplish while not shackled like a rancor!" he knew she was weakened, like a hungry wolf, he began to circle her, dragging his saber on the ground and kicking up sparks as he went.

"The dark side is not evil, it is simply ones heart, rather than one's mind, that guides you, I can show you how to tame it, use it."

With a furious shake of her head, Sybella tried her best to ignore the Sith's words. This was her worst fear, come to life. She wanted to regain her family's reputation, not ruin it further. A swell of emotion hit her all at once; she needed time to process, space to recompose her mind and soul.

'Don't break...' She thought to herself. 'You are stronger than this...'

Sirens were heard in the nearby distance, likely belonging to the settlement's emergency services. If the fighting hadn't alerted authorities, then the fire most definitely did.

Seeing this as her only chance to make a clean break, Sybella stated only this, "Listen and listen well...I would rather die a knight of the Jedi Order than live on a single day as a Sith."

With that, she vanished, cloaked from both visual view and the Force. She had tried to use this ability before, but it never quite worked as well as it did just then. Perhaps it was because, at that moment, Sybella wanted nothing more than to disappear completely from life. It was now her turn to walk like a ghost, unseen by all who now swarmed. Fleeing the area, the Jedi would make it back to her ship, leaving the planet entirely whilst mulling over the licking of her proverbial wounds.

he would flick his wrist, disigniting and placing his saber on his waist in one fluid motion, his cloak going over his arms. he turned back to the flames roaring behind him, while he was capable of cytokinesis, he wasn't confident enough to use it properly.

"what a waste.."
he pulled his hood further. "this unnecessary destruction.. noted for next time.. next time.. woman.. I can feel it."
