[Closed] The Training of Little Cabaoth

The rest of the padawan went without real incident more singes on their robes and in the end Cath came in as the others were leaving and stood there as she spoke tossing an electro whip at Kiara. "Here, since your my padawan your going to know how to use a whip to get the best results."

 

[Keinushi]

Kiara sighed. "If I must."

She returned her datapad to her belt, then unclipped it setting it aside. She then took the whip and uncoiled it with a snap to the air. It let out a crack that she had to admit she found pleasurable.

 

[Syn]

"Oh do not sound like that might make me shed a tear if I had an actual heart and cared. The whip is also useful, most people do not expect it and that is where the advantage comes it when you numb their weapon hand and come in with your lightsaber."

 

[Keinushi]

"Yeah," Kiara nodded. "I suppose your right. Shall I grab my blade too or just this whip?"

 

[Syn]

"Just you whip for now. I want you to practice on the wall. Try to hit the same spot and get a feel. I imagine with your memory if will be easy but whips can be tricky things."

 

[Keinushi]

"Or would be if I hadn't been watching you and picked up a few things." Kiara began to whip the wall, hitting the exact spot every time. After 20 successes in a row she stopped, turning to her master. "What next?"

 

[Syn]

"What's next is how your are going to coil and carry it. In a loop or as a sash?" Cath demonstrated the two with the one being to make a loop and clip it to the belt while the other she lashed it gently around her shoulder and it went around. "Either or both are fine this is mainly so we can head out we might have a mission."

 

[Keinushi]

Kiara lashed out with the whip, pulling her belt to her then after she had attached it she ran her hand along the length of the whip, slowly coiling it in her hand. Grabbing a clip from a nearby rack, she attached it to the belt and clipped the whip to it. "This will do." She said.

 

[Syn]

"Ah good good, this mission I do not know much about but I imagine it will be something drool. We will not expend much energy and unless something happens I am sadly afraid I will be unable to teach you something. Of course maybe diplomacy skills. Come on." Cath began walking as she was given a wide berth by the few padawans and she went towards the hanger bay getting her medical kit from a droid.

Kiara followed Cath in silence. She had nothing to say, so said nothing.
