An unknown feeling immediately took hold of Ronan, taking over his anger for a moment. "I don't regret it. Now we're equally matched. There will be no prisoners this time," he said softly, wondering if she was remembering the same thing he was. The first time they had met had been on a battlefield similar to this one, with a fight similar to this one. Except everything was completely different this time.

Ronan barely dodged her Force push. It still hit half his body, knocking him backwards and off the edge. Pain shot up his shoulder as he gripped the edge of the roof with one hand. He deactivated his saber and hooked it to his belt to free up his other hand. He gripped the edge of the roof with both hands and with the Force, boosted himself into the air, somersaulting mid-air, landing right in front of Hailee. He reignited his saber and swung it at her, the sabers colliding once more. This time, he had the element of surprise, and used this advantage to take a few steps forward, forcing Hailee to give up space and take steps backwards. "I trained you," he said, the smirk finally coming naturally. "So everything you know, I know better,"

The part that they were equally matched made her scoff sarcastically. Was he trying to flatter her? He was still much more experienced, but it was true that their skills were much more even than last time. Maybe he was trying to have her overestimate her own skill, so that she would make a mistake, but she wouldn't play along in his little game.

It was more than satisfying that he lost his balance and was pushed down the roof, but unfortunately he was back faster than expected, before she could even try to start her next attack. His fast counterattack was indeed a little suprising and she was pushed backwards fast while parying his blows. His comment was fully unnecessary and misplaced in this situation. If he was really attempting to kill her, he wouldn't waste any time for cocky comments and yet another empty threat, so it barely made her smile. "Funny how you think that's true" she replied curtly, not being able to fully resist his challenge. She still hoped that by provoking him, he would be the one becoming inattentive.

She realized that she was approaching the edge of the roof fastly and so she used the Force to jump over him, attempting to surprise him from behind. He might have had the upper hand in terms of strength, but she was agile and prepared for this little dance. She was slashing at his chest, a bit too uncontrolled than intended. The anger was clearly not helping in terms of concentration and keeping a clear head, but she was desperately trying. But how far would she even go? She had no idea, actually.

Ronan knew she was trying to distract him and keep him talking. She didn't seem to believe him when he said he would kill her but to be honest he didn't believe himself. "Funny how you think it's not," he shot back, right as she jumped over him and landed behind him. He barely managed to turn around in time before she swung his saber at his chest. Karma and irony seemed to be having their fun with them. He stumbled backwards, fear and pain suddenly wiping away his confident smirk when the tip of his own saber grazed his skin. He hissed through his teeth and gripped his master's saber with both hands. Why could he kill his master, but not her?

He swung the saber at her, blinded temporarily by pain. It didn't last long, and soon he had regained his footing, and was even angrier than before. If his blind stroke hadn't done anything, he would swing his saber at her again while at the same time reaching out with the Force to pull her closer towards his blade. It would be very difficult to escape without even a scratch.

Again, it made her feel satisfied that it seemed like she stood an actual change this time. Maybe it was indeed a good thing that he had made her so angry. Maybe it was helping her to forget what had happened between them. While being blinded by rage, one wouldn't necessarily overthink all the consequences and this was helpful in this fight, as this was how he was fighting. She ignored his cocky comment once again, concentrating only on their fighting.

Realizing she had indeed graced him with the lightsaber made her feel strange. Somehow, it was pleasant, as she could feel a hint of fear creeping in the back of his mind, but on the other hand it was awful. It was not easy for her to hurt anyone, especially nit someone with whom she'd shared history, but wasn't that exactly what she had wanted? Hurting him? Fighting against the Sith? Possibly even killing him? She was completely confused, but tried her best to hide her sudden uncertainty, but her concentration suffered, which was proven by his counterattack. While she could easily dodge the first swing, the second graced her noticeably, especially because he had pulled her close, obstructing her range of motion.

His master's blade went diagonally over her body, but she did manage to slighlty turn away, so that it wasn't her front, but rather her arm and shoulder which he hit. The blade couldn't get in deep, but the burning flesh did hurt anyway, so that she hissed in pain while trying to escape his grip. Before she managed to break free, however, she realized that his own arm was rather close to her and so she brought the lightsaber back up, attempting to slash his saber wielding arm with one clean cut. She was aware of the fact that he could evade the strike, but she partly used it as some sort of distraction anyway, since her next move was already starting. Through her rotation, she had realized that there were a few metal boxes on the roof, and she quickly stretched out her left hand, pulling one of them closer with an immense speed, hoping she could hit him right on the head. If successful, it might have knocked him out and maybe that was all she needed for now.

Ronan didn't know whether he was glad or not that he had hurt her. He barely had time to think about it before she was slashing upwards with her saber. He yanked his hand up, and threw her backwards with the Force. His saber barely grazed the inside of his wrist but it still hurt like hell; not just on the surface. He had just barely jerked away when a metal box came flying at his head. He ducked and rolled on the roof, the hard material of the building biting his wound when he put pressure on it. He cursed and leapt back to his feet, charging her again. They would be at it for quite some time if neither of them truly intended to kill the other.

He swung his saber at her again, as if he didn't care if it hurt her or not. One of them had to make the move. He didn't know if it would be him.

She hated the situation so much. They've been at this back and forth stuff before. Not just once. But this time she really thought that either of them would be brave enough to finish it. She was thrown backwards, landing on her back as his attack was faster than expected. She could feel the fabric tearing, resulting in more burning pain form her back as the flesh slid over the rough ground of the roof. She immediately jumped back to her feet, knowing that he would be at her within a second and she was completely right about it. The pain was growing with any second, but she managed to meet his lightsaber with hers, but she couldn't fully maintain her stance. She was forced backwards again, realizing once again that she was very close to the edge. She send another Force Push his way, using it to gain a few seconds of time to jump to the next roof.

She thought of starting to run in this exact moment, because with this head start, she might even have a change to escape. However, just like those few months ago, she couldn't. She would never run away. This had to end, one way or another. She came here to help the people and now she was forced to deal with him first, with her unpleasant past. This was why she wouldn't give up. She awaited him on the next roof, her lightsaber ready, trying her best ignore the pain. "You're holding back you coward" she shouted over, hoping that he would lose his temper and give her an advantage thereby. She wondered whether he would even manage to kill her, but for her it felt like she was at least more focused now.

Asher was immersed in the force, using the ripples to guide him to the Jedi. Like a primitive radar on a startship. It also allowed him to feel the squad moving to outflank his fellow Sith. As he felt the militiamen moving, he also heard to rockets overhead.

The half-sephi reaching out with the force and took hold of two incoming rockets. The tiny rockets were powerful, but not so much they could not be guided in a wide arch. Aimed to explode over the flanking squad by the time their fuses timed out. The effect was not unlike an anti-personnel mine. decimating the enemy squad.

What was left of the wounded Asher would quickly cut down with his lightsaber. When that was done, he once more felt for the Jedi. To his amusement, one was nearby.

Using the force to augment his body, He leapt, landing on a single story blown out building before leaping again. Catching the edge of a window seal and leaping a final time to the roof top where the other Champion was toying with the Jedi.

Having been focused on the battle, he did not catch the other Sith's request. Nor did he hear the back and forth banter of two estranged lovers. What he knew was there was his prey, if he could capture her, Vex would likely reward his efforts, and if the other Sith cut her in half, well....win win.

Asher once more reached out with the force, his right hand forming a claw with his two fingers and thumb. As he closed it, so did an invisible one around the neck of Jedi.

"So, they have chosen death..." the droid lady muttered to herself as it has became clear what their response is. Rockets. Pedee saw the rockets fly and immediately she would she would leap forward into action, having seen that they were poised to go above the droids and Pedee sure wasn't going to let herself be hit like that. "Kill them" she ordered to the droids. The rocket attack would take quite a bit of droids out, damage others, some were able to move out of the way in time, but then again there was still a whole bunch of them. They are merely cold unfeeling droids and can be manufactured by the Sith's industrial prowess easily. The droids not taken out would then start approaching the ancient droids militia forces, advancing while firing their weapons at the miltia-people whenever they get a chance, aiming to whelm their position with numbers.

Pedee if she had to be honest, she didn't take her duties as an officer seriously anyways, she is a droid that revels in violence, killing, and engaging in combat herself more than anything. It was doubtful that the New Alderaanians would back away and surrender but at least the Sith did say that there was an offer thrown out before the news gets reports of high New Alderaanian bodycounts.

Not one to be slow to react to things, she would start changing herself while the smoke from the launchers is fresh and will linger. Pedee was fast and nimble so it wouldn't take long for her to close the distance. While she was doing so she had her pistol leveled so she could immediately react to threats and be able to dodge blaster shots if needed. If nothing stopped her, Pedee would hop on the rubble the other droid (@AutoFox) was taking cover behind. She's never seen that model of droid before... that other droid is still in her way, Pedee then fires two shots from her heavy pistol at it, going for the center of mass

X3R looked on with something like pride as the militia troops' rocket volley did its grisly work. Formations of the enemy battle droids caught out in the open were shredded by shrapnel sprays from above; unfortunately, some did find cover, and at a word from what appeared to be a command model, they came forward under a hail of suppressing fire. Bravely, the defenders fired back at the charging droids from cover, the note of their aging blasters different from the sharper, crisper noise of their opponents' newer weapons; nevertheless, droids began to fall in their advance, although a few of the New Alderaanians caught bolts themselves.

The smoke of a nearby rocket launch nearly caused X3R to miss the shape of the command droid as it broke cover and sprinted toward his position. The droid was leaning out from behind a duracrete pillar, sighting through his blaster rifle's scope, when the flash of a pistol caused him to duck back behind his cover. The blaster bolts came close, leaving two scorch marks on the side of the droid's cranial turret, but otherwise leaving him undamaged.

The militia commander had withdrawn. That was good, X3R thought; he had a feeling that taking apart this factory-fresh upstart of an opponent was going to get messy.

As the enemy approached, X3R shed his cloak, a heavy cloth garment he typically wore to help conceal his status as a combat droid. If Pedee made no attempt to dodge, she would run straight into it, obscuring vision and hampering movement. X3R doubted it would stop his opponent... at least not yet.

Ronan had just leapt to the next roof after Hailee, prepared to give a snarky reply, when he heard boots behind him. The champion from earlier landed on the same roof as them and took it upon himself to strangle Hailee. Something twisted in Ronan and he felt like he was in his master's throne room again. Ronan turned his body to the champion and jogged forward, boosting his speed with the Force. He swung his saber down towards the Sith's outstretched arm that he was using to strangle Hailee. Even if Ronan wasn't successful at dismembering him, the sudden turn of events would surprise him and Ronan would be able to elbow him harshly in the gut. "She's mine," he growled, repeating himself from earlier. This champion seemed thick enough to think that he could waltz around and do whatever he wanted.

While he jumped over as expected, she could suddenly feel yet another, but his time unfamiliar dark presence behind her that was immediately accompanied by a tight grip around her throat. Her left hand, the one that was not holding the lightsaber, went up to her throat, trying to rip of the invisible grip around it's while her gaze landed on a stranger dressed in black. She had been too focused to realize that another Sith had joined their little fight and she was about to think that this wouldn't end well for her, when suddenly, something even worse happened.

Instead of using this admittedly advantageous situation, Ronan decided to attack the fellow champion instead. At least this was what Hailee saw while she was being strangled, eyes widened in horror and the grip around the lightsaber loosening. The scene in front of her eyes was so horrifying and unbelievably confusing and she had no idea what she was supposed to do next. Run? Try to escape? Attack both Sith? Attack the new champion? Maybe even faint because the pain on several locations on her body was growing with every second and now the air was even forced out of her lungs.

Eileen was annoyed, her hand snaking out from the underbrush to seize @Taz as he attempted to fling himself from the bannister to the rooftop. Even as he reached the roof, his own grasp would falter - if that was his focus, he’d be unceremoniously pulled through the shingles beneath him.

She was admittedly less annoyed that the rockets had missed their mark, and more annoyed that every red blade in the tristate area decided to zero in on the Padawan. Go figure, the Sith pick off the weakest first feigning the need for a challenge. That wasn’t strength, that was barely domination. Not something the Knight would have, much less on her watch. The infantry would have to sort themselves out for the time being - the Jedi needed to deal with her direct opposites.

Reactivating her blade, Eileen’s focus shifted to the shingles themselves, ripping them from the roof and launching then forward like a wave of shrapnel. If the second champion did nothing at all, he’d be yanked downwards towards the ground and struck by splintered steel moving at the speed of a small tram car, say nothing of the damage to where he had been just standing.

They would leave the fight to the lovers, or there would not be a roof left to fight on top of.

(OOC: For clarification purposes, the Temple and government complexes have been swapped, to be edited now. Sorry for the confusion - Eileen would be below you at this point.)

Asher could feel as much as see his force grip around the Jedi working. Not only was she choking, but in her state of shock she seemed to forget her training. As she appeared to be panicking. Perfect time for his fellow Champion to strike and finish her. But he didn't.

Instead, the human Sith turned on Asher. In the blink of and eye, the human other champion cut the meager distance and sliced downward with his blade to take Asher's right hand. The man would have likely succeeded too, were it not for the force yarding him off the ledge of the rooftop. Breaking his hold on the Jedi as well as preventing Ronan for taking his hand.

Training and muscle memory took over. Asher went with the pull, activating the crimson blade in his left hand and twisted to meet the coming ground. A sudden pulse wave erupted from somewhere before him, unleashing debris with a short burst of hurricane force wind behind it. The half-sephi thrust out his right hand once more and splayed his fingers, invoking a force barrier between him a the hail storm of metal, wood, and junk.

Just then Asher's over-watch team would take up positions. Seeing their Sith commander in need of assistance, The sniper would take aim at the Jedi on the ground, while the merc with the PIPE took aim at the roof with the other Sith. Bothing fireing in unison. The high powered bolt aiming for a back shot, while the rocket would aim to take off the roof from under the human.

Ronan was prepared to fight the other champion, but the man was yanked off the building of the roof. He barely had time to be surprised before he sensed a missile heading in his direction. He turned off his saber and turned back to Hailee who was free from the other Sith's clutches. He ran forward, scooped her off the roof, and leapt to the next one, right as the roof they had been standing on blew up. He didn't turn to look back, but kept running from roof to roof. Best to escape this blasted place as soon as they could. He knew there were likely consequences for him attacking a fellow Sith, when he should have taken the opportunity to finish Hailee.

But he hadn't. When his legs and chest started burning, he slowed down. The fight was in the distance and they were now near Ronan's ship. He had a moment of internal conflict before he set her down, albeit a little ungently.

The other thrown his cloak at her. It's cloak...

Seeing the cloak coming, Pedee would use her free right hand to grab one of the Kyuzo Petar's on her person. She would activate it while raising her blade arm to catch the cloak and then start cutting through it. Although the vibroweapon would cut through the cloak, it was still a heavy cloak that Pedee would have to struggle with for a few seconds before catching to her blade arm what's left and then tossing it aside.

Not to let herself be vulnerable and get her opponent free reign, she would fire a couple heavy blaster bolts in slow succession while she's dealing with the cloak. They weren't very well aimed at the other droid, it was more so to keep him moving and reacting instead of pressing the attack.

The cloak toss would obscure her vision and movement for a time, but it wouldn't last before Pedee removed the obstruction. With that out of the way Pedee would get a good look at the other droid, it is a model that Pedee doesn't have in her databanks, somehow she doesn't have knowledge of it.

"What model are you?" she asked the other droid as she stepped to the side and then starting dart forward with her pistol leveled and her blade in her other hand ready. She was truly interested in the other droid, although she still had to defeat it. Maybe after dismantling this droid she can bring it to Father after this battle. Maybe he'd know.

What happened next was even more complicated, surprising and impossible to process for her in time. In one moment she was choked by this invisible, yet merciless grip around her throat, while in the next moment she had seen Ronan attack this other, unknown Sith. She could see the bewilderment in his eyes, but to her surprise, he was not only startled because his own man attacked him, but also because another Force was pulling him down the roof.

Once she could breath again, she fell to her knees while gasping, but she didn't even have a single second to realize what came next. She had suddenly felt another Jedi's presence, but before she could focus on it in any way, she saw Ronan charging at her once again. The crimson bladed lightsaber in her hand was still illuminated, but she somehow managed to deactivate it, even if she was still caught in this almost paralyzed state, right before her knees were supposed to hit the ground.

She still had no idea what she was supposed to do. She had been convinced that he had chosen a side a long time ago, and yet he had surprised her again. Her knees never touched the ground, this realization came rather slow. Right before she was about to land, he had been at her, grabbing her and jumping away. She wanted to escape his arms, but still found herself unable to react, but what she did realize was that debris was flying of the very roof they had been just standing on a moment ago when a rocket hit the building. She watched the scenery in horror while Ronan ran on. Her fingernails slightly bore in his chest, trying to stabilize herself as he jumped on. The immediate fight grew smaller as they were covering quite some distance until he finally set her down roughly.

The people. She had wanted to help the innocent, either healing their wounded or by helping them escape the immediate warzone and now she found herself injured rather far away from the intense fighting and still in his presence. She contemplated whether she could look at him, but in the end she forced herself to face him. She was completely speechless while she had a thousand things to say on her mind. She was trembling visibly, her body still aching and her heart racing. This had all gotten out of hand in no time, but it felt like they had to escape right now. She felt this immense conflict as she also wanted to help the Jedi who had just partly saved her as well, but deep inside her she could already feel that he would not let her run away and she hadn't had the strength to fight him right now. "What are we doing?" she finally whispered in disbelief, her voice a little husky from the fellow Sith' attack and her thoughts spinning like crazy.

X3R's thermionic logic circuits glowed as his onboard tactical computer analyzed the other droid's movements. The cloak had served its purpose, depriving his opponent of sight for a brief moment. Long enough for her to continue forward, twin heavy blaster bolts scorching the air, followed by a strange, double-bladed weapon that itself crackled with power; X3R was not normally concerned by bladed weapons, but some part of his threat recognition system told him to be wary.

What the other droid failed to take into account, however, as her attacks slashed through empty air, was that the cloak had obscured no movement on his part; he remained behind the pillar, waiting for Pedee to dance past him...

"Guardian class." Intoned X3R in response to the other droid's question. "Unit serial X3R."

With his great size, X3R had a reach that was longer than most humanoid models thanks to the proportionate scale of his limbs. The droid's powerful appendage swung out to intercept Pedee, his massive hand grasping for one of her upper arms. The bright dot of a charging heatbeam projector shone in the center of the palm; if X3R succeeded in grabbing his opponent, he would trigger the cutting weapon at point-blank range.

The first thing Eileen heard as her attack landed was the lauded shout of warning.

She couldn’t even stop to admire her handiwork - even as the Padawan and her assailant moved out of sight. Turning the focus to an oncoming rocket crew, the Vahla barely had the time to square off her emerald saber as a heavy sniper blast picked her off her feet. If it had not been raised, the bolt would have left a hole through her right shoulder-blade.

There was nothing she could do about that PIPE, as the impact sent her off her feet and sprawling to the mud below. Eileen brought herself into a roll, managing to duck in behind the tree line. By now, that Champion would have recovered, with Eileen wheeling to meet them. Her own soldiers started peppering the sniper’s nest with blaster fire, yet the Vahla chose to fight under cover regardless.

Instead of moving to engage, Eileen raised her saber, settling into a strong stance, saber resting on her left knee, blade resting across the right shoulder.

The rocket was incoming, and the sniper's shot did exactly what Asher had hoped for. Forced the Jedi Knight to break focus. Just as the PIPE rocket made impact. If it did anything to the traitor and his girlfriend, the half-sephi could see. But it would turn the building to rubble, as the top half shot debris from the impact. Then imploded under the weight of what was left of the roof gave way and fell inside what remained.

As shots from the militia started to pepper the over watch position of Asher's men. The sniper would take quick aimed shots in their direction, the two mercs would also start laying down fire with their carbine rifles. Meanwhile the rocket soldier would try to reload his PIPE weapon.

With the Jedi distracted for the moment, Asher would use the chaos and slip away from the building. Using the dark side to conceal him. Allowing him to blend in with the rush of droids, soldiers, and civilians. The fallen Jedi would use that concealment to once more flank the Jedi and her men. In theory.

A Guardian class? That is definitely not within Pedee's databanks. X3R, she will remember that...

The larger droid did manage to grab on to one of her arms, Pedee saw that were was something bright as if it was charging something but she didn't stop it from grabbing her, she was however reactive. When some sort of hot laser started cutting through her arm, Pedee would pivot to be facing the other droids arm and then bring her blade to swipe at it's arm. Pedee doesn't know what the other droid's material composition is, but unless phrik, beskar, or cortosis-weave, her Kyuzo blade would threaten to slice though the larger droids arm at the middle down even cleaving through armored chassis thanks to the petar's sharpened phrik blade and it being a vibroweapon.

The droid lady's arm would be damaged from the heatbeam weapon, burning off her durasteel armor in that area and doing some bleed through damage behind it. It would hurt, but if her attack connects it would hurt him a lot more than hurts her.

Pedee would also reply "If I've never heard you of you must be obsolete" Pedee also face her body full facing the droid again, ready to attack or defend again. That raises the question, how did New Alderaanians get their hands on a droid like this. "You find your own way here? Or salvaged by organics?" she would ask.
