Emryc watched her curiously as she mentioned the Holonet comment. That combined with all the hair twirling certainly was new to him. Was this all a new development since he had been gone? Emryc sipped his drink, observing all her strange new mannerisms. It was certainly a refreshing change from her moody side, but it caught him slightly off guard nonetheless. His face, as usual, betrayed nothing.

When the waitress asked about an occasion, Emryc had to fight back from visibly grimacing at Tiamat’s suggestion. He knew exactly what would follow, but he said nothing, simply offering a half smile to the waitress as she took their order. She left for a moment and Emryc went back to drinking.

“Well happy birthday then,” He said, clinking his drink glass against her water glass, “What would you like for a present?” Emryc gave her a half grin as he took another sip from his drink.

They were only given a few more moments of privacy before a bunch of waiters came out with a full display of musical instruments, a cake with sparks on it and a lot of cheery and offkey singing. Emryc’s expression didn’t change and he didn’t even look away from Tiamat as he kept sipping his drink.

The obnoxious singing continued as they all surrounded Tiamat, placing a ridiculous hat on her. Someone attempted to place a hat on Emryc’s head, but they suddenly felt abrupt, shooting pain through their arm. They winced and looked confused for a moment before focusing on the singing. Emryc’s eyes still never left Tiamat as he watched her with amusement, sipping from his drink while casually sitting back in his seat.

Any other patrons began to clap and look over their way, making a huge show of it being her birthday.

He wished her a happy brithday and Tiamat smiled, "Belated...it was actually a week ago..." she corrected. She just wanted something normal to say, if not, the possible free cake, and it was the first thing that popped into her head; it would have felt more awkward than what she felt was the truth: just spending time with Emryc. Though she was uncertain how much of that was the truth, there was uncertainty of what she called it, for any word that would fit, it would feel as though it went against all her teachings in the Sith. It could have been weakness and she was too blind to see through it.

Emryc asked what she would like for a present and Tiamat shook her head only to be interrupted by the sudden sounding of an off-key chorus. She nearly choked on her water as she saw a group of waiters exit with cake, hats and singing and Tiamat looked absolutely horrified. Her cheeks turned as red as Tatooine's dwarf sun and possibly glowing just as hot as they continued to sing while putting a hat on her, and trying to put one on Emryc, who seemed absolutely amused by the show and her reaction. There were even others in the restaurant who were joining in the clapping and singing.

It felt like it had lasted for eons before they all cheered and left, leaving silence and the popping of the sparkler on top of the cake while everyone went back to their conversations. Tiamat hid her face in her palms, the tiny hat sliding off and onto the table; she was more than certain she had died and now this was a layer of hell she was experiencing. "For my present," she paused and took a deep breath, "I would like to go back in time and stop myself from telling the waitress about my birthday."

Emryc thoroughly enjoyed the entire display as long as no one touched him. Thankfully, outside of the near miss with the hat, no one else bothered. He naturally had a face and vibe to him that kept most people at a respectable distance. Emryc finished up his drink and asked for another by the time the festivities began to die down.

He watched her hide her face, turning almost as red as her hair. Emryc gave a half grin as he grabbed a fork. He reached over to cut into the cake and help himself, “Look, we can share a dessert,” He took a bite, savoring the taste. He kept sugars almost entirely out of his diet, and he only treated himself on rare occasions.

“That’s a sufficiently disappointing present to ask for,” Emryc eyed the cake for a moment, wondering if he wanted to have another bite. In the end, he resisted temptation and opted to take a sip of his drink instead, “I hope you can think of a better one. I’m feeling generous.”

Emryc eased back in his seat, using the Force to pull the hat over. He picked it up and inspected it from various angles.

Tiamat peeked from her hands when directed his attention to the cake, anticipating for the chorus to return with a follow-up song if she revealed herself fully. However, when she saw Emryc enjoy the first bite, she became suddenly concerned he would enjoy it all for himself without her. Her mind was still trying to recover from the ordeal and felt a sudden inability to find her fork, so the redhead busied herself by picking the dead sparkler out from the cake and laid it on the side.

Now trying to decide to eat it now or wait until later, her attention turned back to Emryc. He decided her wish was not sufficient and Tiamat smiled, but seeing him eye the cake, she found her fork, "A better one?" she questioned and looked away in thought, trying to think of something she wanted, but there was nothing she could immediately think of, "You're always generous to me." she said and took a bite of cake for herself. She too savored the rich taste; she couldn't remember the last time she had a slice of cake.

The birthday hat floated over to his hand as she took another bite of the cake, watching him examine it. "They tried to give you one." she grinned and pushed the plate closer to him, "Help me eat this," she then gently slid her chair closer to him to better share the cake without either of them needing to reach over the table.

"It would be sufficiently disappointing after going through that embarrassing performance to let this go to waste." she hummed, cutting another corner of the cake to enjoy.

Emryc’s eyes were still on the hat, contemplating the strange and obnoxious customs of restaurants when it came to birthdays. It was obvious that the customer almost never enjoyed it, and they were left feeling embarrassed and awkward. His eyes flicked up towards Tiamat after she insisted that he eat more of the cake. Emryc sighed softly. He had asked her what she wanted and he wouldn’t deny it.

He picked up the fork and scooted closer to take another bite. Emryc shook his head, the faintest grin on his face as he joined her in eating the dessert. He knew he would have to do extra cardio to make up for this, but for now he could enjoy some luxuries. It didn’t take them long to finish it, and he even let her have the last piece.

“On the space station where I grew up, they only served fruits as treats,” Emryc said quietly after a moment, moving the fork around and watching the bits of frosting still left behind.

He glanced up at Tiamat, leaning back in his seat again, “You seem different,” He said bluntly. His face was back to normal, and he brought the glass up to take a sip while observing her.

He complied with sharing the cake and scooted closer, seeming to enjoy the treat as much as she did. They alternated between pieces, and he left the last for her, to which Tiamat was more than happy to snatch for herself. As the last piece, she made sure to savor it, she was uncertain of the next time she would be able to get another sweet treat. Though she wondered if she could make a cake as good as this one...her mind started to wander when it was pulled back by Emryc's statement. He had been moving around the remnants of frosting, lost in his own thoughts when he revealed a piece of childhood.

Tiamat studied him for a moment; she would have known what to say for anyone else, but for him, she was uncertain of what to tell him. It sounded so somber and it would be short-lived as though he realized he had spoken a thought out loud instead of in his head.

He looked at her, and Tiamat saw his gaze return to well...his typical self. He leaned back in his seat with his drink and she felt she needed to push her seat back to the other end of the table, but would stay in place, turning slightly to more comfortably look at him. "How so?" she asked feeling slightly caught off guard and her attention turned to the waitress who brought them their food, setting the plates down before them and left, feeling she was intruding on the couple. Tiamat draped the napkin across her lap and pushed around some of the vegetables, trying to decide where to start first.

"I can go after this if you're not comfortable with me here." she glanced at Emryc, feeling herself starting to become more reserved.

Emryc heard her ask him to clarify what he meant and then withdrew into her mind. His expression and posture didn’t change, and he continued drinking. Their food arrived, his own meal entirely vegetarian. He finally leaned forth after a moment, focusing on his food. When Tiamat spoke about leaving, Emryc had to bite back a grin. He finished off a couple bites and dabbed his lips with a napkin before speaking.

“You’re twirling your hair, acting coy, giving me far more compliments than...well ever,” He rattled these things off matter of factly, taking a sip of his drink before looking up at her again, “So I was curious about what changed.”

Emryc took another bite and swallowed before he spoke again, “And don’t worry, I don’t believe you’re capable of making me uncomfortable,” He said deadpan as he continued with his meal. His demeanor was as relaxed as always, his face still neutral. Emryc was clearly having a decent time here and occasionally glancing up at Tiamat to see if she changed colors again.

She had begun to reach up to find a lock of her hair when it was the first thing he listed in his observations and she quickly dropped her hand. She tabbed a bean with her fork and popped it into her mouth, looking to occupy herself from grinning. It would not stop the shades of pinks and reds begun to brighten her cheeks, speaking louder than any smile she tried to hide from him. Chewing slowly, she carefully considered his words, thinking about what has changed about herself; her eyes drifted from Emryc to the stars above. "Hmm...." she shrugged and then looked back at her plate, now wondering what she would have to do to make him uncomfortable.

She glanced at Emryc, her cheeks probably bright enough to power a small village, "I decided, perhaps I am strong enough to be myself." she looked back at her plate, cutting bite-size piece of her stuffed pasta dish, deciding if she would have told him anything else, he would have seen through it, "Plus I discovered I like playing with my hair, its soothing, and I got a new conditioner that makes it super soft." Tiamat explained, feeling her walls fall once more and her shoulders relaxed in response.

Falling quiet as she ate, she let her words settle; there was something about saying what one felt out loud that seemed more satisfying than only thinking about it.

Emryc was almost finished with his meal, a habit from his military efficiency. He glanced up at her as she spoke, pausing for a moment, “You’ve always been strong enough to be yourself. You simply needed to see it was as simple as making an active choice,” He stated while looking at her. He looked back down to continue with his meal, silently pondering on her journey to becoming Tiamat from...whoever she had been before. He had never bothered to ask, but he certainly liked Tiamat more.

He looked up and could see that she was flushing again, her skin tinged with pink. Emryc finished eating and reached for his drink, unable to hide a grin then, “Well it certainly smells nice,” He mentioned following up the commentary about the conditioner. He swirled the drink in his hand quietly as he looked at her for a moment.

“You are far more appealing when you are yourself,” Emryc said with a grin, lifting his drink and tilting it towards her in a cheer before he sipped from the glass.

Tiamat focused on her food, finding the dish rather delicious and it seemed like ages since she had anything similar. She stole a glance as he gave his uplift, seeming to know her before she knew herself. It drew curiosity from the girl and she silently thought about his own upbringing and hardships he had gone through which would make it possible for him to see patterns before she did. Him mentioning about the fruit earlier was the one of maybe a handful of things she knew about him prior to their first interaction.

She noticed he was already finished with his meal as her plate was still over half full as he commented on her hair. He was smiling again; if it were any time prior to this evening, she would have thought he was ill or had lost his mind. Though he had several drinks so far this evening, but did not say anything finding the time with him pleasant; she was in a good mood, and so was he and it seemed like the galaxy didn't exactly fall apart.

Eating quietly, he spoke up again, commenting on her demeanor. Tiamat giggled, seeing him toasting his glass to her; she was not used to this, it felt incredibly awkward and far from their normal banter.

"You sure?" she coyly teased, "Its not because you're buzzed, is it?" she was starting to get full and it did not even look as though she had eaten a significant portion of her food. Tiamat pushed each of the portions together, "I don't think I've seen you smile this much ever." she observed.

"Its a good one, all the teens on Tweeter fawn over it any time the Holonet posts your still shot."

Emryc had several wine and dine experiences with diplomats by now, and he finished his meal first each time. It was a habit, and it allowed him to nurse a drink or two and sometimes have a smoke with some company. He could tell Tiamat was caught off guard by his words, and her face and posture betrayed as much. The giggle that followed was new, and he decided he liked it.

“Do I have to be buzzed to find you alluring?” He flipped the narrative instead, quirking an eyebrow. Satisfied with both dessert and a meal, he reached for another cigarra, bringing up the lighter to click a few times before igniting it. The smoke trailed off into the open air of the balcony, the warm breeze settling down to something a little cooler now.

Emryc offered a half grin at her comment on the smile and the subsequent one about the girls that saw him on Holo. He exhaled smoke and ashed the cigarra in the ashtray, silver gaze flicking back to Tiamat.

“And what do you do when you see me on Holonet?”

Deciding she had played enough with the remaining food on her plate, she laid her utensils down and sat back in her seat. Her smile faded for a moment's time as she found it odd to hear herself be described as alluring. Striving for years to be invisible, perhaps cute was how far she would find it to be an acceptable compliment. Though when she was in front of hundreds during a performance, she certainly could be described as alluring as she beckoned the audience to follow her story. Tiamat watched as he used the lighter to light his cigarra, she certainly liked the other trick he did with the Force to ignite a flame for their fire on Dantooine. Seeing a lighter take its place seemed lackluster.

She picked up her water glass and her gaze went to the stars overhead, he asked her what she did when she saw him on the Holonet and it gave her a pause and she shrugged.

"Sometimes I watch them, sometimes I don't."

Tiamat thought of all the times she saw him on the Holonet and the waves of conflicting feelings that came with it. It was a longing, yet the need for her repentance for those feelings she knew where dangerous. The Jedi spoke of the dangers of attachment, she remembered it well from the Jedi holocron, and yet it seemed it was a concept that could just be as dangerous within the Sith, leading down a path that would consume one ultimately.

She felt herself find a lock of her hair and then took a sip of her water, setting the glass down as she saw the waitress come to check on them. Letting them know they could take their time and pay whenever before leaving the couple to attend to other tables; Tiamat then looked at Emryc, no longer lost in thought as she gave him gentle smile, "I picked this place, so I'll let you pick the next spot if there is another place around here you want to check out."

She didn’t offer an interesting enough response to his question and he subsequently moved on. Emryc ashed his cigarra, glancing over to look at the stars that lined the skies. For a moment his thoughts were elsewhere, drifting back to his personal ship that he hadn’t seen in weeks. He missed the shelves of books there, the soft echoes of a hallikset, faint hints of citrus. He lowered his gaze from the stars and out at the dunes that looked empty and vast.

Emryc didn’t look as he reached a hand back to pull out a card, tossing it where the check was. He finished up his cigarra before turning to look at Tiamat again, “Would you like to go dancing?” Emryc asked quietly.

The waitress returned and he wrote in a generous tip, flexing his fingers for a moment before setting the pen down. His left arm was still a bit stiff, even though there was no pain. Emryc rose from his seat and grabbed his jacket before putting it on, giving his trademark jut of the chin to signal it was time to go.

The place he had in mind was for more cultural dances and not so much a night club. The music was upbeat and catchy and the dances involved a lot more lead, follow and spins. Emryc came to stop near the entrance where there was a bit of a line. Within moments, he was recognized from Holo, allowing the two of them to go right up front. He ducked past several women reaching for him as he entered the club. The floor was packed just enough for a cozy fit, and everyone danced in pairs.

He glanced over at Tiamat and extended his hand, “May I?”

Her blue eyes widened with excitement to the request, "Yes, always!" she did her best to keep her voice at a reasonable level and not look too eager to get up from her seat. She watched as he again used his left arm and hand, having noticed a few times already this evening; she guessed now no one couldn't say he never listened to any advice she game him. Patiently she waited as he slipped back into his jacket and left when he was ready.

Tiamat walked beside him as they passed a couple of places that offered live music and dancing, her curiosity growing until she saw one building that seemed to be the most active. A line turned around the building and back, and Tiamat glanced at Emryc to see his response, if there was any reaction, and almost started to wonder if he was going to coax her into mind tricking the bouncer to let them inside. Though come to find, his face was pretty well-known and was given a spot to the front of the line. Tiamat was quick to realize how many women were looking for opportunity to grab his attention, quite literally; she wondered if it had always been like this or it was new because of his recent fame.

As they entered inside, there were two in particular who tried to impose themselves between Tiamat and Emryc. There was a faint bend in the Force and both women were suddenly rushing away to the refresher, their noses suddenly dribbling blood. Tiamat bit back a smile and her gaze looked around the hall and then to the dance floor where a particular dance was being performed. She quickly recognize the pace in the steps and the music helped it along. Her own muscles were subtly tensing and relaxing as she followed the dance in her head; her attention of course would then be drawn to Emryc as he extended his hand and Tiamat gently relaxed her palm in his as he brought her to the dance floor.

She would follow his lead, her steps a little clumsy at first, some from nerves in anticipation she would step on his feet or bump into another person. Though the more would begin to trust herself, the more fluid her movements would become.

Emryc dropped his jacket and tie off at the coat check, unbuttoning the top few buttons of his dress shirt. He watched quietly as he saw the women suddenly bleeding from their noses and rushing away. The only indication he gave that he noticed Tiamat doing it was the single quirked eyebrow cast her way. No words were mentioned about it and he grasped her hand. The music switched from something very upbeat to something more down tempo and flowy.

One of his arms was around her waist, the other grasping her hand. He stepped back into the floor, guiding her back with effortless grace. His feet seemingly skated across the surface of the floor, and he released her to twirl her to the elongated legato. Each step was sweeping to match the song, and she would feel as if she were floating. His gaze remained on hers the entire time, the low lighting of the club accenting his face and especially highlighting the silvers of his eyes.

The song then switched to something more upbeat and higher energy, and his entire method changed.

Fingers were entwined with hers and he easily swapped her between hands in between some of the spins to go with the beat. Emryc stepped to the side and spun her a few times, tossing her out and then expertly reeling her back in. At one point he released her, spun around and danced his way back to catch her with his other hand and draw her back against himself.

He faced her as he stepped back, stepping back and forth with his feet so his hips followed, his entire body fluid as he moved. Emryc pulled her into a spin again so her back pressed against his chest, momentarily embracing her into his cologne and the contours of muscles just underneath. His free hand traced up along the length of one of her arms starting from the wrist up, fingers teasingly grazing along the side of her neck and barely dipping into the fiery hair before he abruptly spun her out again. That air of confidence joined him with each step, the faintest curve of a grin tugging at the corner of his lip as he gazed at her.

It had been ages since the last time he was this close to her, it was before she constructed her saber and fought the Krayt dragon, and went back to when she started training. In order to show her the beauty of combat, he showed her the parallels it had with dance, the closeness stunned her then, but now she welcomed it; he had slid his arm around her waist and instead of tensing, she relaxed under his touch, eager to reach the dance floor.

No doubt he moved with a level of finesse that Tia never thought he had, then again, she felt there was still more to him that she still did not know and decided the mystery made him just as alluring as he found her to be. He twirled her and Tiamat stepped lightly, moving with the ebb and flow of the music; it reminded her of the ocean's waves under a still evening, washing against the shore, slowly pulling back grains of sand and the smallest shells back to the greater body of water as the moon shone down and watched. She could feel his silver eyes watching her, they nearly glowed in the low light and Tiamat thought what it would feel like to run her fingers along his jaw line, to touch his lips, to feel his breath against her cheek and neck and as he pulled her back from another twirl, she begun to reach to up to touch him, but instead ran her finger tips through her hair to push it back out of her face.

She no longer cared who was watching them, greatly hoping that all his fangirls would envy over the redhead as she stole him and the dancefloor. The music changed, increasing speed and Emryc moved to match the music; she followed his lead, grinning widely as she tried her best not to step on his toes. Moving from side to side, front to back, he would then spin her several times, which was her favorite, expertly moving her feet to keep steady and in control of her body until he caught her, pulling her into him.

Tiamat gasped, but he did not stop, his whole body moved and he moved her; she felt liberated in a way, letting someone else take the control for the moment such as she done in a pas de deux. It was a mutual understanding of roles, to rely on the other to know their part to ensure the show did not fall apart. He spun her again, but this time when he pulled her back, she did not face him, feeling her back press against his chest, his hips still moved, a hand ran along her arm and up her neck. Now her cheeks were not just flushed because of the dance and instinctively she felt her head tilt, her red hair falling over to the side as she reached up to pull his free hand to where she wanted. However, he would spin her and Tia felt sudden unsatisfied and grinned, seeing his own grin while he watched her.

She would make him come to her, the redhead not only beckoning him in the reciprocity of their dance, but also in the Force, intertwining her finger tips in her red hair and reaching along the threads of their bond in the Force. Gently she pulled, wrapping herself in his presence, turning the threads around her being as he approached her.

Emryc watched her as she pulled back and gazed back at him. He didn’t miss the flushing of skin, the tinge to her face and the way her hair cascaded down to her shoulders. He felt her manipulate the Force, tugging at him on a different plane of existence. The maneuver broadened his grin, and he didn’t fight it. He moved closer, still swaying and dancing to the beat.

He didn’t come directly towards her, however, circling around her in a wide arc with sure and practiced steps. She would notice that he was always just on the fringes of her grasp, weaving through the Force as gracefully as he did physically. The Force would trail down her spine, tracing along each vertebrae with purpose while he gazed at her the entire time.

Emryc finally closed the distance between them, one arm around her waist again and only there as he pulled her close. He stepped backwards quickly, challenging her to keep up, spinning them both around just from that casual grip on her. Emryc moved her with ease, though he still teetered on the edge in the Force, always elusive and just barely out of grasp.

There was a point in the song that had a brief pause and he moved his leg in between hers, leaning her backwards into a low dip. His face moved in close, lips just barely hovering up between her chest, up along her neck to where she could feel his breath against skin, and then along her jawline. His lips just barely brushed her skin as they reached close to her ear. It was then that he allowed her to have her way, immersing into the Force and weaving into her energy.

It was all part of the dance, but he took his time bringing her up from the dip. He moved his lips back down that same trajectory, hovering just barely above down her jawline, down her neck, down between her chest and then away. The front of his thigh was pressed between her legs for the dip and he brought her up agonizingly slow to stand upright again, slowly sliding his own extended leg back to support her up.

Emryc grinned as he resumed the dance, stepping back and jumping into the beat once more.

He expertly evaded her grasp entirely, psychically echoing the movement as he arched around her, teasing her from entirely ensnaring him in her hold. Tiamat could feel him respond in the Force, goosebumps trickled down her spine and the hair along her arms and neck stood erect. She grinned and closed her eyes for a brief moment to feel the sensation entirely, her own hips swayed as she stepped on the off-beat of the music, creating a rhythm the complemented Emryc's own as he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her close to him. The movements picked back up and she suddenly focused on keeping up, unable to savor the sensations that rode through her body for as long as she wanted.

It of course would only leave her wanting more as he continued move between the threads of the Force that she wrapped herself in; he spun her and himself and the moved closely together as he took advantage of a slow movement in the song. He tilted her back and Tiamat arched back in a controlled manner; she suddenly felt open and vulnerable, her hair fell behind her head, her neck exposed, chest open, and then Emryc who just barely hoovered above her bare skin.

Tia closed her eyes to feel how close he was not only physically, but in the Force also. She could feel his breath along her neck and beside her ear, it was almost torturous to not have him just ravish her there. Though he must have sensed her hunger and Tia gasped as he allowed for her to submerge in his presence, leaving her to consume - or was it him consuming her - as he slowly pulled her up, allowing her to feel all of him just long enough that she would want more before stepping back and resuming to the beat of the music.

As for Tiamat as she watched him coax her into returning to the dance, she felt her head spinning, her heart clearly beating faster than prior, and her cheeks were still bright as ever. It took her a moment to bring herself to speed, feeling as though she had stayed at the bottom of the ocean for a tad too long and now needed to find her breath at the surface. Her blue eyes studied him as her own sway and step caught up with him, finding it for just a moment that the rest of the galaxy did not matter as she was pulled back into him. This time, she did not want him to let her go as she caressed his jaw and cheek with her finger tips until he would twirl her out and back.

She pondered as the music slowed what it would be like if his lips touched her, how he would feel and certainly how she would feel with him and nothing to inhibit their desires. Her fingers danced down his arm, adjusting it slightly along the small of her back, "Can we get a drink?" she asked almost breathlessly.

Emryc heard her breathless words, distinctly aware of her touch. Her face was still flushing, a whirlwind of emotions crashing against the calm resolve he had in turn. She wanted to play this game with the Force, and immersing herself into him allowed him a glimpse into her thoughts perhaps far more clearly than she would ever want him to. Emryc didn’t betray this knowledge, simply offering a grin as he led her towards the bar.

The club was packed, but two seats were quickly cleared when his face was recognized by a few people. A girl smiled brightly as she asked for a selfie, and Emryc didn’t hesitate, flashing a charming smile to allow her to take one. He took a few more selfies with women, careful to keep enough distance to avoid any unwanted smooching. Emryc pried himself out of their grip after a moment, taking the seat next to Tiamat.

Sweat lined his hair and skin, and he ran his fingers along his forehead to move errant strands aside. Emryc ordered himself a shot, deciding to forego the whiskey this time. Another glass slid towards Tiamat. He looked over at her and clinked their glasses together.

“To your birthday,” He said simply before tossing the drink back.

He respected her wish to go to the bar for a drink and walked with her off the dance floor. She watched as people seemed to move for him even with how packed the club was; he was admired by complete strangers and even with as packed as the counter was, two seats were made vacant for the politician and his dance partner. She was bemused by the display but did not question it or complain as she took a seat, getting herself a glass of water while she watched as a few women came up to Emryc to ask for selfies.

He flashed his signature smile and Tiamat observed quietly, unmoved by jealously or spite for the girls while finishing the glass of water. When enough selfies were taken, Emryc ordered a drink and a shot was given to Tia also, who frowned at the glass. She really did not like liquor, but in spirit of celebration, she took it. He clinked his glass against her own as she lifted it, tempted to smell it, but she knew it would not smell too good. However, she grinned when toasted to her birthday, "To many more!" she tried to toss the drink back like him, but failed horribly, the potent liquid touched her tongue and she was instantly repulsed. She pressed herself to contain a cough and felt it burn down her throat and up her nose as she swallowed hard.

At no time did she want to spray it out back at him, and set down the glass and faced the counter away from Emryc as she coughed and gasped, her eyes starting to water. She felt ridiculous.

Tia turned back to him and glanced to the dance floor, "Where did you learn to dance?" she asked him; she was curious, as she had spent a majority of her life dedicated to an art, she was uncertain about him. For as far as she knew, he could had have a similar life, but it seemed far-fetched that the Sith were anything close to a normal life. This moment on the dance floor wasn't the only time he had shown his skills, it wouldn't bother her to not know and even expected him to avoid the question entirely or not reply at all.
