The hike was proving to be a great form of meditation for Maru as he crunched along behind their guides one step following another as the wink whipped around them throwing his hair up and around and the focus of his meditation was “Why did I agree to this?”

The mission had sounded simple enough, walk with some native guides across steep terrain as they neared the first of the generators they would have to get to repair. While this didnt sound like such a task when it was offered to Maru he hadnt realized that this would be done on a planet thats weather patterns were as fluctuating and temperamental as Bantha with a clamp on its tail. Twice now they had to dip down to cover to avoid some of the most intensive windstorms he had felt in his life and the guides joked that they had been mild!

One hand reached up planning to scratch his cheek before it knocked against plastic for probably the thousandth time, he had to hand it to the makers of the breathing masks they fit well enough that after a time you forgot you were wearing them, but without them he’d only last awhile on the surface of this planet. He resisted the urge to heave a sigh, after all he didnt want to tempt fate and risk damage to his mask so instead he stomped along.

It didnt help that by suggesting he had a strong back and wanting to be helpful that he was carrying a ton of gear in various bags and containers all hooked up to harnesses on his back and hips. Not only were there tools and spare parts but also supplies should they need to camp on this journey though due to the importance of the repairs the less time this took the better off everyone would be.

As the group cleared the trail he had to pause as he got a truly amazing view of the horizon, even able to see one of the cities that this mission would be helping out in the distance a speck of color on an otherwise deceptively barren view. Judging it was hard thanks to the dust played havoc with the lighting of the world, he had no sense of time on this planet anymore. “Well…..the view makes the trip a bit better” h e said aloud catching his breath and rolling his shoulders some or as best he could. “How you holding up?” he asked his fellow knight, turning to smile though the expression was lost under his mask.

Tiberius had arrived on Dorin only a few days ago. The planet was dark and dusty with unpredictable weather patterns. The atmosphere here was not hospitable for most species, and so the constant wearing of a breathe mask was require for survival. Tiberius had spent a couple day with their native guides, getting to know them and their ways. They were an altruistic group, different from many races that Tiberius had come across in his travels across the galaxy.

Now Tiberius, his fellow jedi and their Baran Do guides were nearing the first generator. This first generator was located at the top of a mountain. As a result the group had been hiking upwards for most of the morning. The rocky terrain had made it difficult, and it was not helped by the temperamental weather. They had already taken shelter at least twice since setting out this morning.

There hadn’t been much talk since the beginning of the trek. Everyone was mostly focused on getting to the generator and saving their energy for the hike. Suddenly, Tiberius heard a voice that was directed at him. He looked and found that the voice came from his fellow knight, Maru. Tiberius turned to catch a glimpse of the view that Maru was talking about. Off in the distance Tiberius was able to see the town that Maru had no doubt seen himself. Tiberius nodded. “It does indeed.” He turned back and began walking up the mountain again. “I’m not doing too bad.” He responded to the question. “How about yourself?” He turned the question back to his companion.

“Just a little further.” One of the Baran Do guides said. They had been telling the truth. Not long after sharing this information the group reached the top of the mountain where the generator was located. The knight walked the short distance to get to the generator. He inspected it to see if he could tell what was going on with it. Why had it stopped working. “Any ideas?” he directed his question at Maru.

He did his best to shrug "Kinda like taking hikes back at the temple only you know with deadly storms" He joked and then perked up hearing they were arriving and he marched along. While Tiberius was able to go over and start examining things Maru had to take a knee and have some of the Baran Do assist in getting the gear off him for now. Having that weight off his back was enough to improve his mood tenfold. Hearing the question he walked over and took his own look at the device. It was impressive, looking like it took advantage of the planets own winds to generate power. As he stared some movement caught his eye and he gestured

"Panels loose" he stated obviously and then walked over as the metal squeaked and moved with the breeze. He reached out and adjusted it pushing and as it moved the metal simply snapped off and into his grip "Well....bet that's not how its supposed to look" he called loudly and gestured. Behind the panel wires were torn and frayed, possibly from dust and sand that had eroded away at it.

When Maru responded by telling Tiberius it was like a hike at the temple but with deadly storms Tiberius gave a chuckle and nodded. The knight had not work with Maru before, but he always appreciated a sense of humor, and it seemed like the two would get along fine.

Maru gave the generator his own once over and found the loose panel. After his fellow knight had removed the panel Tiberius walked over to look at what was beneath. “Well, that’s not good.” He stated the obvious. The wires looked like they were beyond repair at this point.

Luckily, the group had come prepared to fix the generators and had various tools and equipment that they had carried in with them, mostly by the generous Maru who had offered to carry the brunt of the load. Tiberius walked over to where the bags had been unloaded from the backs of the travelers. He rummaged around for a moment and then emerged with a spool of wire and the necessary tools for the job.

He wandered back over to the generator. “I think I got what we need here.” He said setting the tools and wire down on the ground beside the generator. “Let’s get too it.” He knelt down and set to work repairing the generator. He removed wires, replaced wires, he removed panels and put them back on.

After about an hour of work it seemed like the job was completed. “Alright, let’s fire it up and see if it works.” He said. One of the Baran Do walked over and flipped a switch. The machine came to life. It seemed like everything was in working order. “Well, I hope the rest of the generators are as easy as this one to repair.” He said as he looked up and watched the wind turbine spin. “Where’s the next one?” The knight ask. One of the guide looked and pointed to the adjacent mountain. Tiberius took in a deep breath and let out a sigh. “Alright, let’s go.”

It was just past mid-day at this point, and Tiberius hoped they could get to the next one before night fall.

While not a certified mechanic he could at least spot obvious breaks and he worked shoulder to shoulder with Tiberius as they measured cut and reseated the connections. Then after a bit of work on the panel to make sure it was flush to the machinery again to keep the dust out he couldn't help but feel a little elated when the generator hummed to life "She livessssssss!" he cheered though he couldn't remember if he was referencing a book or a movie but he knew he had heard that line before.

"You jinxed us" he said flatly turning to cast a mock glare at the knight then he chuckled and walked past and patting his shoulder once before he went to get repacked up arms looking into straps and he took a few moments to prepare himself before with a grunt he stood and all the gear rising with him. He had high hopes now though until he looked seeing where the guides were pointing and he sighed shaking his head. "Jinxed" he muttered playfully as he marched along and the group set off towards the next generator.

The only mercy as they slid along was that gravity was a bit more merciful as they moved downwards moving along another mountain pass. At least until he heard the Baran Do pointed up at the sky and they spoke in their own language for a moments before they translated

"Flash storm!" and then as if the words summoned it a bolt of lighting cracked across the sky. The weather on the planet changed so rapidly he wouldnt have had any clue one was arriving. "We need cover!" Maru called back raising his voice over the rising winds. He had been part of a few of this sudden dust ups since they had been on planet but this was the first that lightning had decided to join the wind and dust. As the wind picked up he paused to dig into one of his pockets pulling out a pair of goggles and slipping them on over his head. The visibility would be bad enough without dirt in his eyes.

“Yeah, I probably did.” The knight responded with a short laugh to Maru’s assertion that Tiberius had jinxed them. Everyone began packing up as they prepared to make the trek to the next generator. Tiberius fit his arms into the straps of his pack and shrugged a little to get it to sit comfortably on his back.

The group began to descend the mountain. It was easy going as they started out starting out, but Tiberius wasn’t looking forward to climbing up the next mountain.

Tiberius heard the noise of the native’s voices speaking in their own language, and then they told the off worlders that there was a flash storm. Almost immediately there was a flash followed closely by a peel of thunder. The noise was almost deafening.

The wind was picking up and the knight barely heard the voice of his fellow jedi calling for them to take shelter. The dust being kicked up by the wind made it difficult for Tiberius to see. He saw Maru put on a pair of goggles and then remembered that he had also brought a pair. The knight slide his goggles on.

One of the guides waved for the jedi to follow them. The Baran Do were of course used to this unpredictable weather and would know the best places to take shelter while waiting for the storm to pass. “This way.” Tiberius heard one of them say. He diverted from the well-defined path and found himself weaving between larger rocks. The Baran Do led the jedi to a cave in the side of the mountain. “We’ll rest here a while.”

Tiberius walked into the cave. He took off his pack and sat on the cave floor with his back resting against the stone wall. “Well, I suppose this beats being on the front lines, eh?” He said to Maru. Tiberius didn’t know much about Maru’s experience in the war against the sith empire or the increasingly aggressive mandalorians, but he assumed he had some experience with it, he was a knight after all. As bad as the weather was there didn’t seem to be much threat of life or limb on this mission.

Tiberius could see outside from where he was sitting. The dust had almost completely blocked out the light from the sun. It was dark out there. The wind whipped around and created an eerie howling noise at the entrance to the cave.

Maru didnt have much choice but to follow, after all the natives knew where to cover and the only mercy with these storms is that they flared up and died down rapidly but he was still amazed that not only had life thrived here but that it had developed into what it was. This was not a merciful planet after all. He stowed such thoughts as they found a spot to cover while they would wait for this flare up to pass and once again he unloaded all the gear and found a rock to sit down on. With dust obscuring what little light the planet got he dug into a pack and cracked some glowsticks, they likely weren't going to camp here so the temporary light would be nice.

When asked that question he chuckled and leaned back resting his head against the rocks behind him as he thought "I'm not sure, at least in battle you have an opponent that you can try to predict and plan for what they will do but this world and its weather?" he said gesturing to the duststorm outside he had seen battle a bit here and there and knew the chaos of things. "I cant challenge a storm to a battle of wits" he joked shaking his head and chuckling warmly at the idea before he dug into one of his pockets pulling out a small sealed container. His precious supply of sweet leaves for snacking. He took a breath to hold as he pulled one from the container and then slipped it under his mask trying not to inhale until the mask was secured again. Not that a small lungful would hurt him he was more worried about how stupid his voice would sound if he breathed in the helium.

He chewed nibbling his snack under the mask before swallowing to ask his own question "And what of you brother Tib?" he asked knowing the preferred nickname for his fellow knight. He could related to wanting a shorter name after all. And by now relaxed enough now that he had fallen into his habit of adding a title to others. "Is this the way you envisioned being a Jedi Knight would play out?" he asked curiously

Tiberius eyes followed his fellow Jedi as he, too, took up a resting position. Maru had brought up a good point in his response to Tiberius. This weather was unpredictable. One moment everything was calm, and the next you were taking shelter in a cave so you didn’t get zapped by lightning. In battle, however, you at least had some idea of what to expect from your opponent. Tiberius nodded in agreement

There was a pause in the conversation as Maru got himself a snack. There was another flash of lightening that illuminated the small cave. After finishing his snack Maru asked Tiberius about his thoughts on being a Jedi. The knight took a moment to consider all that had happened since he had joined the Jedi. He had made many friends. He had made some enemies. He had helped others. He had crossed blades with a fair amount of combatants. He had even helped to liberate his homeworld. “Yeah,” He began his response. “I suppose it has lived up to the stories I heard as a child.”

And just like that the storm had passed. There was some conversation that went on between the guides. Tiberius couldn’t understand what they were saying, but then he heard the words “Let’s go.” Tibierus pushed himself up off the ground, picked up his pack and headed out the mouth of the cave. “It really is amazing how quickly the weather can change here.” He stated as he exited the cave and began to descend the mountain once again.

They made it safely down the mountain with relative ease, and nothing too eventful took place. Now they began the uphill climb to the second generator. After making it about a quarter way up the mountain there was the beginnings of another storm. The winds started to pick up and there was another deafening crack of lightening. This time Tiberius saw it strike the ground down below them. “This way.” Came the voice of the Baran Do guides. Tiberius once again slid his goggles down over his eyes and followed the guides to another cave. Again he took up his post resting against the cave wall. “So how long have you been with the Jedi?” Tiberius asked Maru as they settled in.

Like the other storms this one rushed past so quickly and like before the group saddled up their gear to resume the march to the next mountain. They managed to reach the other with what little light the evening of the world received was dwilingly and guides or no a climb in darkness wasn't going to be an option as they settled into another cave to brace another storm. As before he settled in perhaps planning a little longer stay this time. Maru couldn't remember the solar cycles for the planet but they were probably in for a few hours rest this time until they could resume the march.

Once settled in and the question was asked Maru paused thinking calculating the years he had never been good with gauging time. "Forty years now" he said with a small measure of pride "I was brought in when I was young, this life" one hand waving out gesturing the cave as if a repair mission on a dark dusty planet somehow summed up his life in the Order. "Is the only one I've known" there was no bitterness in that statement it had not been a bad life sure there were ups and downs and struggles and challenges but those were just a universal truth.

He stretched out some rubbing stiff limbs and enjoying the freedom of movement now that he wasn't weighed down. He took off his own goggles and ran his hands through his short black hair shaking dust from it. He was going to need to shower for a week, and he'd still be finding dust and dirt on his body he had no doubt. With idle time he dug into one of the packs pulling out the data pad. The mission was five generators and as he looked he saw the green dot of the one they had repaired and then looking at the map he saw that this mountain had two generators, the summit being larger then the one they had worked before. As he adjusted the map to get a better view he saw how one was situated on an upper slope near the peak and the other was essentially on the peak itself. "Lots of climbing tomorrow" he warned turning the map to show Tiberius what he was talking about

Darkness had fallen on the sky above them, and not darkness like in the previous storm. This time the sun had disappeared. It was now night time. It seemed like the group would be hunkering down for a little bit of a longer stay this time around. Tiberius got up from his sitting position against the stone wall and began setting up his own spot in the cave where he would be sleeping. He listened to Maru’s answer as he did so.

More and more it seemed like the Jedi he encountered had spent most of their lives in the order with no experience of what life was like on the outside. He wondered what that must be like. Of course, this was not out of the norm for Jedi, but the recruiting process of taking children when they were young wasn’t as popular as it once was in the Order. He himself had grown up on Dantooine with family and friends. It wasn’t until he was 12 that he joined up with the Jedi.

Now that his area was set up, which didn’t take too long, he heard the voice of Maru again. His fellow jedi was showing him what to expect tomorrow. Tiberius leaned forward to get a better view of the map. He saw where the generators were located. Tiberius took in a deep breath and blew it out. “I suppose we should get our rest, huh?” Tiberius said shifting his eyes from the data pad to Maru.

Tiberius was already feeling the fatigue in his bones from the day’s hike, and he imagined that Maru was even more tired since he volunteered to carry more equipment than Tiberius had. The knight plopped down on his sleeping bag. The Baran Do had started a fire in the cave. Tiberius watched the shadows dance on the cave walls as he drifted off to sleep.

He gave a tired nod at the suggestion of resting "I suppose this is home for the night" he said getting out a mat to at least soften the hard ground a bit and he dug through his packs pulling out some rations eating carefully only exposing his mouth to eat for a moment or two to avoid breathing in the local atmosphere. It wasn't that bad to breath it in but still, small doses would be safer.

Before long he shut down laying down onto his mat and drifting off only to be awoken early with a small shove from their guides and Tiberius would be given the shame. It was what qualified as first light for the planet and he could tell it was brighter then when they had laid down for the night. He bit down a grumble, Maru was not a morning person but still he sleepily started to pack up and he had a light breakfast, grateful mostly for the caffeine packets he brought that he could mix into water to give him a bit of a jumpstart.

"Alright" he said yawning loud "Two on this mountain will make it three and after that just two more to go" he said aloud mostly for his own memory and soon enough he was loaded up ready to start marching again.

"Dont" he added glancing towards the other Jedi "Start us with a jinx" he warned playfully

Tiberius slept in relative comfort that night, at least as comfortable as one could be sleeping on the stone hard ground. He dreamt that he was hiking up an endless mountain and every now and then large rocks would fall down and knock him back to the bottom of the mountain. At one point in his dream there were several smaller rocks that came raining down on him, but he awoke to find that it was just the foot of their guide shaking him awake. It was time to get moving.

He pushed himself up and began packing up. Afterwards he made himself some coffee. Like Maru, Tiberius was careful not to breathe in too much of the native air between sips of his hot liquid. Once they were all packed and ready to go Tiberius shouldered his pack once again and made his way to the mouth of the cave. He heard his fellow knight talking to himself. Tiberius looked back at Maru. It was then that Maru warned Tiberius not to jinx them. “Wouldn’t think of it.” He said with a smile. He knew that the jedi was only joking of course.

The Baran Do exited the cave and began to make their way up the side of the mountain. Tiberius followed suit. He leaned forward slightly as he traversed the incline, it was a steep one. Luckily, the weather behaved itself on the way to the second generator.

Upon arrival it was clear what the problem was. The panel that they had removed on the first generator was now missing on this second generator. Tiberius looked around and found it stuck between two rocks. Perhaps it had been blown off by the wind. The knight grabbed the panel and took it back over to the generator where it appeared to be the same problem as before, frayed wires that had been exposed to the harsh elements.

“Same song second verse.” He said to Maru. Tiberius dropped his pack and began rustling around for the needed supplied. He pulled out the required tools along with some wire that could be used to replace the damaged hardware. The knight set to work fixing the generator.

Mau marched along keeping good time and they were making good time since they at least started at the mountain rather then making the trek from the city. Still aside from the rough path leading up wasn't exactly the most welcoming of walk ways. Just as before when they arrived he unloaded and began to study the generator only to glance over when the other Jedi pointed out the problem. Part of him wanted to make some comment about the durability of the panels but then again they were here to do the job and so he grabbed the the spare length of cables and some welding gear to repair the panel.

His mouth opened to make a comment about if they were all the same repairs then they would probably be done either later in the day or early next but he bit his tongue. He had learned that such thoughts and words seemed to invite the universe to spoil the fun. "Next gen's a little different" he warned as they were wrapping up this one. "From what I understood its a mix of wind and lighting convertor" he explained. Such tech was always impressive, he was no real scientist but he could at least grasp that lighting had far more power then it would appear, a single flash generated so much in a single moment.

"But" he added as they finished up and he closed the panel and moved over to the control panel to begin the generators start up sequence "At the very least its simple by design, just a rod, capacitors and then of course the relays sending it back to the city" and after giving the display a few taps he grinned under the mask watching the green bars suggesting output rising.

“Good to know.” Tiberius replied as they finished up the repairs. He slipped the panel back onto the generator and Maru got the machine up and running again. The generator purred as power began to surge through it once again. Everything seemed to be going well so far and the repairs seemed simple, but the knight kept his mouth shut. Maru seemed like a superstitious guy and Tiberius didn’t want to take the blame for jinxing them again if things started to go downhill.

Downhill, that sounded nice right about now, but the group would actually be travelling uphill once again. As they had seen on Maru’s map earlier, the next generator was on this same mountain just a little higher up. With the repairs done, Tiberius shouldered his pack once again. “Shall we?” He looked at Maru and then to their guides. The Baran Do nodded their heads in agreement.

The knight’s eyes look at the path that would take them to the next generator. *Almost half way done* he thought to himself. He took several steps forward before he was met with the incline. The hike was a little less steep this time around, but it was still an uphill climb. After navigating the rocky terrain for about an hour the third generator came into view. This one looked a little different than the other two generators they had encountered. “This must be one of those next gen generators you were talking about.” Tiberius stated turning his gaze to his fellow knight.

The walk had only gotten steeper but as he looked up the generator he gave a low whistle, it was more impressive, he looked spying what he assumed were turbines though they looked still despite the wind up on the summit should have been turning it somewhat. Then a rod pointed straight into the sky.....or it should have been but as he looked he saw near the peak that the rod had been turned to slag likely from a particular aggressive bolt.

He gave a sigh "Well this should be fun" he said and he gave a small gesture to the turbines "Lets start with what's lower to the ground" he suggested and he walked over to take a look pushing on the turbine blades but it felt stuck fast. Curious he focused channeling the force. His talented was always focused on channeling it internally rather then projecting and in doing so his strength grew as he focused more and more power and he pushed gritting his teeth testing the metal. The metal gave and with a screech started to turn but he could feel there must be debris in the mechanical sections as it should have been free spinning. He stepped back dusting his hands off and then set about pulling apart hatches wanting to see what had gotten inside. "Dust dust and......dust" he back "This ones gonna take a bit" he warned

Tiberius watched as Maru examined the generator that laid before them. This generator seemed to have several different problems compared to the others that they had already repaired. There was a light breeze, enough that the turbines should have been turning, but they were not. Maru began his inspection here. Tiberius clapped his hands to his ears as they were met with the loud screech of metal on metal. “That doesn’t sounds good.” He stated with a grimace.

Maru opened the hatch to access the internal workings of the machine. Tiberius walked over and peered over his fellow jedi’s shoulder. It was just as Maru had said, the inside of the generator was caked in dust. Tiberius nodded, acknowledging the jedi’s warning. “I’ll see what else there is to do.” He said and began to circle around the machine, inspecting it for any other defects.

The only other issue that Tiberius could spot was the rod that should have been pointed towards the sky. Instead it was bent over into an almost U-shape. The pointed tip had melted off and now lay on the ground below. *I wouldn’t want to be around when that lightning bolt struck.* He thought to himself. He reached out with the force and wrapped an invisible hand around the bent metal that was still attached to the generator. Luckily, the component was only screwed in. With some effort Tiberius was able to unscrew the rod and bring it down to his level.

The knight examined to deformed metal. It would be difficult to straighten the cold steel back out without breaking it. With the rod laying on the ground in front of him Tiberius knelt down on both his knees and closed his eyes. He held his hands out over the metal rod and began concentrating the force into the rod, heating it up as he did so. After a few minutes the metal began to glow red. Tiberius now used the force to straighten the malleable metal.

With the rod now straight Tiberius breathed out a heavy sigh. Using the force reshape the metal was no easy task, and there was still the matter of reattaching the tip, but he needed to take a quick breather. The knight looked over in the direction of Maru. “How’s it going over there?” he asked, raising his voice slightly so that his fellow jedi would be able to hear him over the distance.

Maru dug through the tools they had until he finally found something that could help clear out the debris that had gotten into the gears and workings of the machine, compressed air hissing as he blasted out the sand and dirt his hands reaching in to throw larger chunks away and it was a slow process but he was meticulous. Then realizing that this would only solve the problem but not prevent it from happening again he dug through their materials again.

Using the cutting tools from before he carefully carved a cover for the turbine, one that would lay down ontop the gears without getting in the way. Seeing how dust had invaded every nanometer it could on this planet he had no doubt that this wouldn't actually prevent it but at least delay it from happening again. With the repairs done he gave the turbine another shove channeling his power again through his core and pushing hard and the blades began to spin rapidly soon catching the wind and spinning all on their own and he grinned. "Wind side's looking good!" he called back looking to see and he looked at the corrected lightening rode and flashed a thumbs up

"I can get that back into place" he called out walking over rolling one shoulder then the other and he grabbed onto the rod. Some knights had their talents and Maru's was his gift of improving his bodies strength and he put those skills to use with this task. Holding the rod he took a few breaths to steady himself before he raised his arms lifting and then pushing the rod almost throwing it to help get the sharply pointed end up and into the air before grabbing the base. Gritting his teeth under his bask he focused the weight of it to point it clear into the sky. Once it was back into its mount it became easy enough to screw it back into place "Looks good!" he praised but even ask he spoke he noticed the light was fading rapidly "Oh f-" but his words were drowned out by the thunder and the repaired rod got its first test as a bolt struck it as a sudden storm had sprung up again. The sound and pressure wave were enough to knock Maru to his stomach like a blast.

The clattering of tools on the metal workings of the generator filled the air as Maru worked on the turbine and its components. Soon the claxon sound vanished and was replaced by a light breeze that came from the turbines that Maru fixed. Maru’s response to Tiberius’ question was carried on the breeze. All that was left to do now was replace the lightening rod.

Maru approached Tiberius with a roll of his shoulder and picked up the large rod. Tiberius stood blinking at the strength displayed by his fellow knight. It was most impressive. “You’ll have to show me your workout routine.” Tiberius stated still amazed by the physical prowess of the jedi.

Putting the large rod back in its place, Maru made it look easy. With a few twists the metal rod was in place and the generator appeared to be good as new. Maru seemed to have similar thoughts based on his words after putting everything in its place. The victory was short lived though.

The sky became dark and without warning there was a loud crack as lightning struck the newly installed lightning rod. The noise had been deafening. The force of the lightning had knocked Maru down. Ears still ringing, Tiberius rushed over to his fellow knight. “You okay!?” Tiberius asked placing a hand on the fallen Jedi.

The group needed to find shelter from the storm. Sooner than later would be best.

The first things Maru became aware of was a ringing in his ears and he blinked away dirt from his eyes. He was a little shell shocked all sound reduced to what to him oddly like a tuning fork held close to the ear. Slowly the tone faded and he was aware of more of the world around him. He was on his stomach, the on a very dusty world and slowly his brain processed his most recent memories. He had been working on the generator......then, and his eyes widened as his brain put every back into its proper order he pushed himself up shaking his head.

"WHAT!?" he yelled seeing his fellow Jedi seeing his mouth moving but his ears were still ringing from being so close to the blast and as he looked the guides were gesturing to some cover near the generator and he took a few wobbly steps towards the covering leaning on Tiberious if he offered. By the time they had gotten under the cover of rock he was a bit more steady on his feet but as he clapped his hands over his ears a few times he frowned. HIs hearing was coming back but he was worried about how much damage he had just taken to his inner ear. "I'm willing to blame that one on me!" he said over the storm "I was feeling pretty cocky there, universe had to balance it out!"
