Dantooine, amidst a storm swept plain..​

Oh boy what a day, it seems Cremeks task as a historian for his order was without end. Cremek had taken a shuttle to dantooine, no questions asked, a planet that has seen its fair share of history in both the jedi and the sith order, he knew he was risking an encounter with a jedi, with the planet bordering the jedis territory, but he didnt care, the chance to discover something with historical value was something cremek could not resist, perhaps he can discover records of the almost mythological revan and his time here, if he was extremely lucky, but he was equally fascinated to anything relating to the sith lords of old.

Cremek's hopes were a chance to uncover the ancient temple that once stood here, he wanted to learn as much as he could. He had always believed that the secret to ultimate power lied amongst the secrets of the sith lords of old and their lives, maybe, if he discovered enough, he could uncover a way to gain their power and share it wish the rest of his kin, and usher them into a golden age. So here he was, A gentle rainstorm had swept in, not that he didn't like it, in fact, he was absolutely bedazzled,
how could a planet be so beautiful? he thought to himself. "now.. where to begin..." he muttered to himself, out loud this time. He really had not thought this through, but oh well, this was a chance for him to explore the ruins here nonetheless.

It's been a few weeks since Hak left Corellia.He was kinda tired but he had something in his mind.During his travels and various adventures he had found an old nav map,hidden in ruins of an remote planet at edges of the Outer Rim.Something sparked his interest as he come through the documents of the map.The final update was made in a very familiar place.The planet that was the staging ground to countless conflicts..but also that was hidden secrets and ruins ready to be explored.

"R5,punch the coordinates for Dantooine." The astromech grumbled a bit but begun calculations. "Oh come on...i've heard Mos Eisly opened a new droid bar".

After a few moments R5 beeted and Hak jumped into Hyperspace.During the voyage,Hak was studing the old documents again and was trying to understand why they end so abruptly.But he attention was cut off as he arrived to his destination.As they broke the planets atmosphere he begun to follow the coordinates of the expedition.Before long,the Rust Bucket was sworing above seas of sand and rock cannions.What ever was this that they found was far away from any kind of civilasation.He did spot a caravan of Tuskins but nothing more,just desert.At some point a rainstorm swept in,that was a rare site to be honest and Hak was amazed.His radar thos picked up a signature,a ship?

"Well it seems someone is either lost...or had the same idea as me..." he relaxed attitude changed to a more aware and tense now.

Cremek continued to make his way through the plains of Dantooine, studying his map, there had to be something here.. something, this planet used to be the capital of the jedi in the old republic era, during the highest point of both their orders histories.. if there was details from that era anywhere.. it had to be here.

"now, if I can simply find the right temple..."

[Ervius Xann]

Elbow room: that was why people went to Dantooine. Ervius needed a quiet place to regain his bearings after the debacle with the exile. He had barely managed to save his personal collection of artifacts from the grabby hands of the ISB. Here, he presumed he would be safe from any pursuit. Jedi ruins were a nice bonus. He had never been too interested in jedi lore, but the enclave that produced the likes of Darth Revan, Darth Malak and Exar Kun must have done something right.

He had not had a chance to start the excavation yet: there was the matter of finding the ruins themselves after millenia of disuse. Before the split, he would have used a swarm of probe droids to locate all the points of interest. Alas, probe droids tended to fall victim to local fauna in te course of such tactics. Before, that was not an issue, but with imperial supply lines no longer available... Ervius had to be frugal.

A spark of sensation in the Force touched him. He felt someone strong in the force make landfall not too far away from his current position. They were not light - he could tell that much but only that much from a distance.

"Let's see what we have here," Ervius muttered and walked in the direction of the sensation, doing his best to conceal his presence in the Force for the time being.

The sith sorcerer would place away his map, he was rather close to one of the said ruins, he put his trust in the force to guide him to his destination, after all, it had yet to lead him astray so far, he made his way into a high walled valley, if both his map and his senses were correct, this was the place, not just a temple, HIS temple.

Cremek had always been fascinated with revan, maybe it was the seemingly dual nature he had, maybe it was the fact he slew so many mandalorians, his people made him one, he couldn't decide, the tales of this sith lords actions were as murky as their identity, but he admired revans ability to harness both the light side of the force and the dark side in equal measure.. maybe if he discovered more about the sith lord, he could too..

Another ping was now visibile in the long distance radar.Hak was a bit confused by the signatures of those vesels,they were definatly not Republic and not even any kind of Jedi.His thoughts went into a dark place for a moment.

"...I hope they are not one of them...." R5 beeped with concern as he heard Hak. "I know buddy...i am kinda scared too.Its been a while since i came across one of those people.But lets play it safe shall we?" The droid grumpled and continue his calibrations on the cockpit.The Old nav map was heading towards a cluster of rocks that opened to a cannion.Maybe he can land there and go on foot,drawing less suspission.After arriving close to the rocks he aimed towards a part of those rocks that was on a more shaded and absurd area and he begun his decent.The weather was still cloody and he would be able to move through the desert a bit easier.

"Ok...this is a good place to lay low.R5 you stay on the ship in the occasion that i need a quick extraction" R5 blurred out a bit of droid speaks and twirled his head "i know buddy...i will be in touch."

Hak prepared to depart from the Rust Bucket.He put on his full gear and wore a desert camo cloak for extra concilement in the desert,and off he go.As he moved from shade to shade he was looking at the map to follow the steps of the expadition.He pushed on forwards,untill he started finding markings and bits of expedition gear,he was in the right track.

[Ervius Xann]

As he got closer, his senses cleared. Whoever the newcomer was, they seemed to have made no effort to hide their alignment. Ervius could tell they were sith. The Dark Side of the imperial knights had a distinct feel to it: less a gaping black hole and more of a leashed rancor. Dangerous, yes, but not as overwhelmingly irrational and hungry.

“For a Jedi world, there are two sith too many here,” Ervius muttered to himself with a wry chuckle.

The distance between Ervius and his destination was fairly short, so he unleashed his own presence. A sith would always presume they could be discovered only by a fellow force sensitive anyway. Perhaps Ervius was projecting, but he cared too little to contemplate the matter.

”What brings a fellow traveler here, I wonder?” he asked, projecting a copy of himself a couple paces ahead of his true body. A primitive illusion, but even one’s awareness of it would change little in the event of an altercation.

cremek felt the plain grass of dantooine, then looked up to the sky, he felt something... odd.. but he dismissed it, if there was something here it wouldn't be able to stand for long against him, not with his signature control of the force. And if that failed, his krayt dragon pearl focused saber would cut through them instead, if the howl didn't send them running first. There it was.. one of the so called temples he had been searching for, at last, he would pace in front of the door way, contemplating, for the first time in his life, he was honestly thinking if the knowledge was worth the price.. The way of Revan was not an easy path to tread, even for a man like cremek.. he could go mad, or crumble completely.. Was what he was seeking worth that?.. He continues to pace indecisively, then he turned, steeling himself, if his order was to survive the split fully, and regain the power they once had, they would need to grow, evolve.. with a motion of his hand, he opened the door, knowing he would most likely not exit the same, if he found the knowledge he seeks..

[Hak Te'Jaris]

Hak was scaling the rough terrain,and he reached the top,the temple were clear.He took a moment to marvel at them,a time capsule of a forgoten era.He checked his ma and woulf you know it? right up that door was his destination.He sighed and took a moment to regain his strenght.As he was looking tho he noticed a figure at the door.He wemt prown and stayed low,with the cloak making him one with the rocks.

"Its definetly one of them" he murmured under his breath.

Suddently another figure appeard literaly from thin air.Hak was taken aback by this but he continued looking towards the gate.At that point the figure at the gate made a handgesture and the door began to open.

"Bingo...it was that kind of temple then...this is going to be interesting".

"Well, what a self-absorbed fellow," Ervius mused and followed the other sith. He spotted another figure, barely a spike to his Force senses. Feeling a little cheeky, Ervius gave them a wave (his illusion did, at any rate), before following the other sith inside.

"I do wonder. You don't appear mute," he looked at the sith and have a wry chuckle. "Or is the mystery of the temple so tantalizing? I suppose I can sympathize: Jedi sure can build grand structures."

Cremek gingerly made his way inside the temple, amid the aincent corridors, a wonder that they hadn't collapsed completely, the again, the force users and proto sith here were miracle workers.

"My primary focus is texts, stay out of my way and we won't have an issue here, Likewise for that other fellow who thinks he's sneaky.. "

Hak didnt move but the cheekiness of the force user and the body language of the other one confirmed his suspissions.Took a deep breath and going against his survival instinct,he stood up.His armor dustided and the visor of his helmet reflecting the desert sun.His cloak was flowing in the winds,he then gave a quick shrug like he was saying "Welp i atleast i tried" and he began climbing down the rocks he was hiding in.As he approched he had a better look from the figure that waved at him,a dark robe and cloak.Hak looked up at the grand structure and under his breath said,"It is pretty not going to lie.".As he draw closer he raised his hands as sign of non hostility, and he entered the ruins.A grand temples with tall collums and longs wide coridors.He looked at the two figures and he spoke,his voice been affected by the voice modulator in his helmet,making it sound a bit more droid,

"Well its seems that all of us had the same idea today huh? Its been a while since i did some tomb raiding."

Then his tone turned a more serious one and he lowered his hands.

"I have my own buisness in this ruins,and even better,i have no interest involving myself in yours."

He turned to the one that waved at him and threw a thumbs up,

"Cool trick there dude hehe"

“A bit grumpy, are we?” Ervius had to make an effort to avoid chuckling again. “No need to be so sour, I am quite fond of archaeology myself. I’ll aid you even, ancient lore could be interesting, if only from an academic standpoint.”

He took out a pocket scanner and took a holographic image of the entryway. The chamber it led to afforded a lot more space, featuring ostentatious reliefs and good acoustics — but little else. Whatever used to occupy it withered long ago. Time had an insufferable habit of grinding the most interesting things to dust.

“Ah, an appreciative audience,” Ervius smiled at the man who looked like a bounty hunter. “I do like it when unexpected company makes conversation in words as opposed to blaster fire.”

The words echoed against the walls of the chamber. Ervius looked around.

”Let’s hope we find what we seek,” he shrugged. “I wonder if we get to attend a soirée with local ghosts? If there are any, of course: Jedi have a boring tendency of dying peacefully.”

cremek maintained a defensive stance, walking deeper into the fetid dark that was this temple, keeping rather silent, this was it, either he finds what he wants, or fails..

Hak looked at the man that waved at him and raise his shoulders.

"Believe me i like it to when i have a civil conversation without shooting first and asking questions second."

He looked around and a piece of stone garnered his attenntion.Approching it he saw that it looked like a symbol.Whipping away the dirt and rock he was taken aback a bit.

"This is...old...very old...the old...Republic...".He scanned the tablet on the wall and some screpture was able to identified."Maybe later,after you get out of this mess.",he mumbled under his breath.

He faced back again towards the pair and heard something about ghosts before seing the hooded figure walk fast deeper into the temple.He walked closer to the more polite of the two and said,

"Well they are a grumpy one arent they?" and let out a chuckle. "i like archeology quite a bit as well.Where i am from exploring places like these are only in books and rumors.I hope i dont cross path with that one tho.But where my manners...names Hak..." and extented a hand for a handshake.

"Every temple is the temple if you want it hard enough," Ervius shrugged. "We should look for the archives, unless you have the equipment for a proper expedition."

He halted when the mercenary approached him, letting the other sith go deeper into the ruins. With that fellow, he would probably feel dark satisfaction in the Force if the other sith found anything.

"Ervius Xann," he accepted the handshake. "Shall we be off then? With the sheer scale of this structure, even after an orbital bombardment, it might take us some time to find the archives. Unless, of course, you happen to have a floorplan on hand?"

His tablet gave a ping.

"Well, carbon analysis confirms our observation," Ervius said. "The material dates back to the Old Sith Wars."

"you know what this temple could be, wether we know it or not we stand at the precipice of evolution."


With a howl of his krayt dragon pearl focused saber, and a brilliant show of Orange light, cremek ignited his saber, walking down the aincent steps, cremek would turn, the archives, where.. he had to find them, it was the only way to be certain, he wandered, using his saber as a light, his senses drinking in his surroundings.

Hak shook Ervius's hand and nod.Tho he felt a cold,a dark feeling,this is way out of his depth but its too late to turn back.

"We shall..."Hak looked up to the high celling as rays of light broke through from some of the cracks."Yeah...i can see that.It was definetly built to withstand a lot of damage.But currently no,no plan.The trail went cold but i think my target had the same idea as we do.But hey...i love some ruin exploration" he chuckled under his helmet.

Hearing the ping of the Ervius's tablet cought him a bit off guard but when he heard how old this place was,it made his mind race.
"Sith wars? That was centuries ago...anyhow...lets keep mooving,the grumpy one might fall into a pit or something."As he moves forwards he activaded his flash light and begun to venture into the dark corridors.Before long he heard the loud ignition of a orange lightsaber.

"Well you dont have to show off..."he mumbled under his breath.

“Try millennia,” Ervius remarked in response to Hak’s assessment. “And of course we need to show off. We’re sith, as I’m sure you’ve guessed. Though I would not advise spreading the news around. By the time you do it, we will have left the planet.”

With that, he ignited a ball of purple flame in his hand. It illuminated the smooth walls of the enclave and cast long shadows on the duracrete. The corridor they chose offered ample space, but debris littered the floor. Ervius had to mind his step. The datapad in his other hand displayed a stream of data pertaining to the history of the structure and its eventual demise.

”Honestly, I’m not sure about evolution,” he commented. “It’s a gradual process which be definition can have no set precipice.”

"that's what's so special about what I'm looking for, if I can find the knowledge of the ancients, I could spread it amongst the order and propel us into a golden age, without the empire. The ancient lords could wipe out entire planets with their will of the force, teleport across the galaxy without the need of a ship, and consume a city with their command of the dark side. Revan is who I am choosing to focus on.."

ever since the split, and the near fall of his order, cremek had been DETERMINED to find a way to tip the scales, slicing his way through a piece of rubble that blocked his path, cremek pressed on.

"A predator needs to evolve, or it will become prey, as must we, or we will go extinct."
