So I think I'll go with someone that goes on derpy adventures in a series of open threads. That'll give me the info to flesh out a profile. OR I was also toying with the idea of making some Diverse rps. What's everyone else doing to flesh their newbs out?
Exploring the core meaning of "Jedi" while generally getting in to trouble, struggling to keep up with Jedi with far more training and generally trying to make the less explosive parts of of the story more interesting.
Diverse RP is where you can do alternate reality rps. A lot of people have done zombie rps and other stuff which have been awesome. Before this timeline started I actually rped Andraste as a kid in Diverse RPs to develop her as a character.
I will make a padawan eventually, but I want to wait until the new timeline is in swing; so I can make a poor innocent youngling, who gets corrupted by the ebb and flow of war >:3
I love the feeling of spending hours writing something up, taking a 5 minute break, coming back to look at it and saying "Mmm, nah." and deleting it all.
I... should probably elaborate on my previous post! Can't really drum up interest with nothing. Heh.
I plan to play a jedi padawan who is astoundingly mediocre in most respects. The interesting bit, at least I think so, comes with the evolution. Along with the paddy/master relationship, I plan on having him be a bit of a coward, but one who develops a bit of an undeserved reputation of heroism as a result of dumb luck and some guile. He'll still be a jedi, of course, good boy who does as he's told and fights for the light, but I've always liked stories where the character in question doesn't even want to be there.
Think.. Harry Flashman, or a certain Commissar 40k fans will probably be familiar with.
No doubt, my char will be a total dumbass at the beginning. Believe it or not, my char Andraste was the same. I had her trying to pee in the woods and get surprised by a rancor, had her almost drown, fall off a tree, etc. those are only to start >__> Starting chars at the bottom is/has always been my favorite way to rp. I'm super happy to see others wanting to do the same ^_^
Same. At least, when I write, it's always better to show the evolution of the character itself. From Padawan to Master, and the training he endures, the hardships, the losses and the gains. It's always a fun ride.
My characters do tend to come into the fray in an intelligent way, though. Most of the time.
