Dona-Done!
Sometimes it benefitted the cartel to do a job that benefitted the Exchange. It wasn't often, mind you, but while the cartel reigned supreme in Hutt space and most of the Eastern Galaxy's Outer Rim it always had trouble gaining a true foothold closer to the Galactic Core where for some reason species like Hutts and Gammorreans were regarded with suspicion and sometimes even with outright disgust. It was a leftover sentiment from the Galactic Empire for sure, but then there was the Troig Eccle'baal. He operated from the sewers, as often aliens like Troigs and Hutts were forced to do closer to the Core, but managed to get a good relationship with a high-ranking Imperial officer. That opened doors, having what the Core called 'civilized humans' on the payroll and more importantly those were doors that the cartel was keen on having opened for them.
So it happened that the great omnipotent supreme mogul of the Hutt cartel, Nor'baal Desilijic Fa'athra, decided to go to the Ojoster Sector personally and have the Troig "owe him a huge favor". Some would say "the biggest" favor, even.
Preef simply tagged along. The aging rodian gunslinger was the former leader of one of the Galactic Syndicates and still the fastest quick-draw that graced this galaxy with his longevity. The Supreme Mogul had promised him luxuries to his every desire and all Preef really had to do for them was to stand nearby and occasionaly flex the quickness of his draw. Ofcourse, his Crymorah Crime Family, the Zaa Fenn, had managed to become the chief enforcers of Tatooine for the cartel and were making a lot of credits as part of this deal as well.
Long story short, when the Supreme Mogul's ship left hyperspace above the planet Wayland no one really had a plan on how to handle this. After all, how could some mid-tier Crimson Dawn ringleader really refuse to bend the knee to Nor'baal Desilijic Fa'athra? With Preef's blaster pointed at his head? All he had to do was pay his Chapakh to the Ojoster Sector Exchange.
@Nor'baal
Today's Forecast: The Crimson Dawn is blocked by a depression of rain clouds! After having suffered a giant blow to their galactic operations after having funneled massive resources to aid a maddened Vivienne Donatade in her anti-Imperial efforts, the Crimson Dawn strikes a less imposing figure than it used to do. They control a large synthetic spice facility on the planet Wayland, inside the old Wayland facility on Mount Tantiss. It was time that facility changed hands and joined the Ojoster Sector Exchange.
