Maybe I'm a filthy casual, but i don't see why people have such a big issue with how battlefront looks. It looks fantastic and fun, even if its a scripted battle. Swtor expansion looked like an interesting story too.

But then again, almost everything I've seen from e3 looks great. It all looks fun and enjoyable. But especially battlefront and fallout 4.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is marked for Holiday 2016 and shows the return of N7 armor and the Mako.
After the utter disappointment of ME3 I can safely say I could not care less. I have little faith in Bioware these days.

I've been at work all day. What's the biggest reveal from today?

Telltale is pretty consistent with their games. If you enjoy a more story-driven experience as opposed to the common 'fields of badguys broken up by story exposition' you'll enjoy their games.

If you liked those two then you'll definitely also like TWAU.

Because one bad game means all hope is lost for a company. I will say I am no fan of EA, but I got over their ending after their Extended Cut, Citadel DLC and Dragon Age Inquisition. But to each their own, I'm waiting to see what Andromeda will have before I get too excited.

Try 3 bad games, one after another, all of which were 'huge' blockbusters. After the mediocre DA2, SW:TOR, and ME3 I stopped caring about Bioware.

I have yet to play DA:I, and I've heard good things from it, so once I've upgraded my PC I'll try it out, and if I enjoy it I'll purchase it.

After having been burned three times by Bioware I no longer see the Bioware name as any kind of indicator of quality. I did not care, at all, about DA:I and I won't until I've had the opportunity to try it and I'm not going to be excited about a new ME game until I get a chance to try it.

I can't say anything about TOR since I have not tried it. But like DA2, I hear they are more dissapointing then bad.

Not getting excited for Inquisition or Andromeda though until you try them isn't exactly a bad way to go into them. And since you seem to want to try them before you judge them, I will still say this. Inquisition is am far better RPG then DA2 is.

I will agree rough that the Bioware that made Baulder's Gate, KOTOR, and Mass Effect is by far no longer the same as the one we have today. So far, the only RPG I am really excited for is Fallout 4, and since mods will also be for Xbox One, that is a bonus.

Well it's better than The Walking Dead Season 2.

It's my favourite of the Telltale games by far.

On the Mass Effect front... yeeaahh, I'm in the same boat as Gregor with this one. After having absolutely no expectations for Inquisition I was pleasantly surprised when it was actually very good. Mass Effect 3 (and SWTOR to a degree) have just left a permanent sour taste in my mouth for their games however.

So uh.... this is now happening. Not a big FF7 fan as it is, but a remake could possibly topple FFX for me.

Anyone else a Final Fantasy Fan??

As someone who more or less loathes the entire franchise, I don't really see a point to this aside from the obvious cashgrab.

Other then their appearances in Kingdom Hearts, I don't care too much, but can see how those who played it are hyped as all hell for this.

I'm sure if a remastered edition of the original Knights of the Old Republic with a fully voiced Revan, a lot of people would be hyping all over it.

Only because there are a serious lack of quality Star Wars titles. Final Fantasy comes out with some new installment in the series (be it core, Tactics, HD, etc.) that getting some shinier version of an older game that has itself been released on multiple platforms already.

A new Walking Dead mini series by TellTale staring Michonne and a new Hitman game both coming out near the end of the year? Not a bad way to start the morning.

Well, yea, if you hate the series of course that's all you'll be able to see. That's not what this is (well, it's not only a cashgrab, considering every commercially developed game ever is a cashgrab). This is SE finally giving the fans what they've been asking for for years.

SE recreated a scene from FF7 to illustrate the PS3's performance at the E3 reveal for it years ago and ever since fans have constantly returned to the possibility of a re-imagining of FF7. It's clear that they've finally listened to what the fans want.

Is it going to make them butt-tons of money? Of course it is, it's a FF7 remake. Everyone who played that game as a kid is now in their late 20s, early 30s who will want to relive their childhood excitement.

I'm curious what you don't like about FF. I don't consider myself a "FF Fan", but I've played a number of the games and have enjoyed them thoroughly.

There's been a serious lack of quality Final Fantasy titles these past couple of years too. FFVII was also only ever released on Playstation and PC, with subsequent systems being able to play the original version. I don't follow your rationale at all. Just because SE makes a lot of games connected -very loosely- to FF means that a remake of their most-popular game of all time isn't big?

I'd have been more interested in seeing what happened to Christa than Michonne, largely because she's not a character in the comics who ever interested me.
