Has anyone ever played Tale of Two Wastelands? It's a PC mod that merges Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I've been playing it lately and New Vegas's gameplay changes improve Fallout 3 tremendously.

A little thing I pretend is that The Lone Wanderer(You in F3) pretty much leaves the Capital Wasteland and travels west and becomes The Courier, and begins a new life.

I can't wait to hear all the smartass dialogue options in the protag's voice. They were always one of the highlights of the game for me, so the idea of someone saying them out loud is the best.

That's exactly it actually. They have an option that lets you play New Vegas first and return to the Wasteland (skipping the prologue).

My Fallout experience is just so wonderful.

These aren't nothing too new, but it's the exploration and combat without the fans screaming in excitement.

I'm a tiny little bit miffed about the overall graphical quality and how the art direction looks sort of samey from what's come before, the world of Fallout has great potential and I am seeing some good things here, but I'm still not as floored as I wanted to be.

Maybe I'm just still bitter about the vehicle thing....which literally every other fucking open world game has but this.

I hardly used horses in Oblivion and Skyrim, I can't really imagine cars being in this. The terrain is far too uneven from what I have seen, and it definitely was in Fallout 3. It could have possibly worked for New Vegas since they terrain there was a little more even, it's why it worked so well for RAGE as well.

Yeah, I don't think there's a way to make vehicles work if it keeps the same kind of terrain.

The hype is real! Can't wait, I'm hoping that they learned from Fallout New Vegas and give us a plethora of factions to work with, not like F3 where there were only really 2 factions, and you were forced to work with 1, and maybe give us an option like the Independent New Vegas option where you decide to rule over the wastes yourself, I very much enjoyed the Independent NV path, so I'll have a nerdgasm if there is an option like that in F4...

I kind of like the look of the perk tree, even though they looked pretty similar to the previous games. I didn't really think they needed to change anything on that front anyway.

Im worrried that the settlement building and customization they implement into the game could cause issues, as awesome as it is id hate for it to be something that may break the game.

Fallout games have always been broken. Why make something that works, when you can just get modders to fix it for free later?
