Kotii's left hand still hurt. The cybernetic arm was still healing after the events in the gladiatorial fighting pits. The expert care he received from Doctor Morata helped him recover but he knew he needed to take it easy. For Black Hand, that meant continuing to only take on work where he could rely on his non-dominant hand.

The palms of both hands were fitted with black gloves and faced the emotionless T visor that looked down at them. Behind the visor the scarlet irises of the Echani offshoot would not have been able to tell the left was artificial. The man wasn't sure he liked the synthetic skin and had debated just having the plain metal exposed. Ultimately he accepted the offer. Something about effectively having the nerve endings connected and draw-speed decided the debate. The Doc had worked her magic and then some it seemed.

The Alor in Exile was not going to remain idle and rest in bed. His clan was scattered for their own safety and it would be a few more weeks before Kotii would get to see his son, Hauron again. The young Mikkian was probably training with the other foundlings and hopefully Atin was teaching him how to fly.

Looking up from his hands, the Mandalorian looked at the blue tunnel of hyperspace. A sensor alerted him to the fact they would be dropping out of hyperspace soon. Taking hold of the controls the solo crew eased the ship first into a field of streaking stars and then just as quickly the bounty hunter would see a star system come into focus. The patrol ship began an approach towards Ventooine's surface.

From what Kotii knew, the planet was a backwater world with a population of a few hundred million. Descending through the atmosphere the badger took in the view of the mountains and mesas. It reminded him of a few other planets like Savareen or Tatooine but with a sort of uniqueness that all astronomical bodies had. A monarchy was the last local authority until they were killed over a century ago. Now Ventooine could be a haven for a despotic warlord or worse.

Kotii wasn't hear to kill a warlord though. Instead, he was tracking a bounty by the name 'Dewback'. Thus he was traveling under his bounty hunting alias, Black Hand. Using connections with the Bounty Hunter's Guild the Echani offshoot tended to keep an eye out for bounties that had certain crimes on their resume. Smuggling, trafficking in sentient species, and arms dealing. Dewback was wanted for all of them and then some. So when Kotii eventually escaped the gladiator pits, he had a lead waiting for him and a likelyhood of this trandoshan still being on the run.

After House Solus had attacked and blown up the Zyggerian Royal Palace, Kotii intended to chase down every last one of those who may still be at large. But as soon as he had returned to Mandalore with the freed slaves, Darth Raze was already on their doorstep. The Tor'la Akaan'ade were scattered and in essence, fighting a war on fall fronts including internally against other Mandalorians. Even their people were divided. But for now he needed to focus on the task at hand and hope it yields results. The payout for the bounty was not why he took the job, the man wanted intelligence on the bounty's operations and associates and he had the means to squeeze it out of the trandoshan, if he could find the reptile.

The Bevrag'ad's engines kicked up dust as it came in for a smooth landing in the city of Goyoikin. The ship would wind down as it cooled in the triangular shadows of the architecture. So far the city seemed relatively civilized and no fighter craft or hostiles seemed to show up on his scans. Taking one last look out of the cockpit, Kotii made sure the ship was locked up tight and wouldn't lead anything back to any old coverts.

After making sure his equipment and weapons were charged and ready, Black Hand left his ship behind and began walking towards what could be considered the 'tourist' district. Hotels and restaurants would eventually come into view. All the while, Kotii would walk calmly and evenly through the streets, looking for a sign of a Trandoshan or where he might see them. They liked meat so he wouldn't be hiding in a place next to a vegan restaurant unless he wanted to risk having someone deliver him protein or risk going out to get him himself. The Mandalorian's stomach grumbled and he made a note to grab something to eat before he left.

It took some time to track the tranddoshan to this planet. Apparently, he had something to do with the cult she'd taken out. If he was still active, well, she needed to make sure he stopped.

Emilia was pleasantly surprised when she touched down on Ventooine's surface with the Defiant. It wasn't a dusty, hot planet. Though if it had been she probably wouldn't have been too disturbed. She was getting use to Sernpidal ever since a rebel base had been built there.

Today she wasn't wearing anything particularly notable. Just a simple dark brown and white outfit that helped her blend in. Her lightsabers were hidden in pockets on her belt, but the handle of her blaster was somewhat visible. She wasn't sure how rough the planet was, so she didn't want anyone to think she was unarmed.

It took only a few minutes to trek to a tourist district. She wasn't exactly sure where to start, and it wasn't like the tranddoshan was going to run if he saw her. She wasn't a bounty hunter and most of what she'd done she'd done with her face covered. The district was probably thick with people. Very few people paid much attention to the small, platinum haired Sephi.

Her purple eyes scanned the crowd. Just briefly, she thought she caught the tail end of a tranddoshan. Maybe. He'd entered a cantina, so Emilia followed. When she got into it, however, she once again only caught the tail end of the man, this time entering the back room. She stopped and stared for a second before leaning against a wall and crossing her arms. Emilia wasn't certain she wanted to burst into the back room or wait to see if the man came out.

Walking the streets of Ventooine's Captial city would earn him some stares. Kotii's emotionless T-visor occasionally looking to one side or the other to let the outside world he was looking back. As a Solus, he was not one to delay things. There could be any number of reasons why he was on the planet. But in this tourist neighborhood, equipped with the amount of hardware Mandalorians were known for, other people might begin to get nervous. That was fine by the Alor in exile. He wanted this Dewback nervous. He wanted the Trandoshan to feel a hint of fear so he knew that profiting off the suffering of others had its consequences.

Kotii was not here for the pay day. The credits this bounty would earn him were considerable. But Dewback was associated with the Zyggerian Slave Empire. It would serve his goals to hunt down everyone in that organization until it was nothing. Once the bounty was captured, Kotii would also have a chance at more intelligence on hi former operations before the Hunter turned him in.

The red and black armor plated figure did not quite catch the Trandoshan heading into the building. Instead he did stop a moment outside the carnivorous Deli and Butcher restaurant combo. The smell of both cooked and raw meat reached his nose and he found himself both hungry and mildly disgusted simultaneously. But a petite silver haired girl entered ahead of him by a few heartbeats.

Before entering, the thought occurred to Black Hand there was likely more Trandoshans or maybe hired help in close proximity to Dewback's abode. Tilting his head up to look at the second story of the building just beside the restaurant. Maybe that was where he stayed.

Kotii stepped into the restaurant and looked around its interior. The young woman from outside was leaning against one wall with crossed arms. He stood there, looking over her and the other patrons in turn but none made a move. Still, he had a feeling that the silver haired stranger was watching the exit.

Approaching the counter, the Mandalorian looked back at the four armed besalisk on the other side. "You lookin fer some chow, Mister?" A hint of nervousness entered the reptilians voice.

The Mandalorian reached towards his belt with his right hand. The besalisk's eyes' darted down to the man's hand which was moving at normal speed. The Hunter only pulled out the tracking fob which beeped somewhat rapidly. "A trandoshan." The steady pace of the red light gently blinking and the beep from the device indicated the target was close. "Have any scaly customers recently that match that description?"

From behind the intense stare of the visor, Kotii was looking at the man wondering if he was hiding anything. The subtle shift in his eyes and the fidgeting with his hands followed by a step away from the counter said enough before he spoke. "I get all sorts of customers, Mister Mando. I just don't want any trouble."
