Koran didn't say anything about Jainee's father, but he looked at her with a worried expression on his face. When Kellyn suggested to go eat something, Koran patted his belly and agreed.

They headed into a restaurant and sat down somewhere. In the corner of the room played a band. Three Bith musicians and two Twi'lek singers, who also danced really well.

'You asked me about those I've killed,' Koran said. 'I can't and I won't tell you now, because it's not a conversation we should have over dinner and I don't want to speak of such things in a busy place. I will tell you in private, in a room or something like that, if that's ok with you two.'

He took off his jacket and put it over the back of the chair. 'I'm not surprised there are Jedi Hunters here, though,' he said. He leaned closer to them and said with a low voice: 'Be more careful next time. These are dangerous times.' He smiled and sat back.

"You're right. I was careless. What's been driving my curiosity was how anyone would think of putting a bounty on Jedi," Jainee asked as she sat down. She had obviously been out of the loop for quite some time now, but she wanted to know who set it and why.

"Several people do all the time, Cap'n," Kellyn said. Jainee looked over at her. "The Bogan want more to join its' cause and religion, so the hire hunters to find them so they can force them. Some people want to hire the Jedi for their own personal use, so the spend even more credits on them. And others just hate the Jedi, so they want to either kill them themselves or have them killed," she explained. She had been making deliveries the entire time Jainee was training, so it made sense she would know.

'People have different reasons for hunting down Jedi,' Koran added. 'It doesn't really matter why they hunt Jedi, it's just annoying in any case.'

Making sure nobody could hear him except for the two Amarans, he asked: 'What rank do you hold in the Order, Jainee?' He leaned with his elbows on the table and folded his hands. He glanced over to her, curiously. He remembered when he was still a Jedi. Those were good times, but at the same time he was glad that he wasn't a Jedi anymore.

"I have one more Jedi mission before becoming a knight," Jainee whispered back as she leaned in closer. "I can use the force well, but I haven't exactly 'gotten my feet wet,' ya know?" She continued to explain. She wasn't afraid of being honest. In fact, to her, sixteen was still too young to be a knight anyways. She was lucky in her opinion.

"What did you say our first mission would be?" Kellyn asked innocently. No one would suspect it of being a Jedi mission with how vague she was being.

"It was some delivery mission the Council wanted done again," Jainee said as she rolled her eyes. In her opinion, she would've rather chosen a mission where she could use her lightsaber, but she still felt as though this mission would be troublesome enough.

'A delivery?' Koran said. 'You find those boring, don't you?' He grinned. 'I've done plenty of deliveries back when I was still an apprentice. They often turned out to be rather interesting. You get to see other worlds, you get to meet different kinds of people. Some of those missions get dangerous, although it really seems like a blue milk run at first.

'Anyhow,' he asked, 'have you decided what you want to eat? I'll have a grilled Bantha steak.' He smiled. 'And of course some Corellian Ale.'

"Well, I was a freighter pilot before being a Jedi in the first place, so I've already seen most of those worlds. I admit, with my crew, the trip is fun. Guests are usually fun as well. And my first mission is taking me to a world I haven't been before; Manaan. So I see your point," Jainee said with a smile.

"There's been some regular jobs from before the Jedi where we gave passage to some shady characters. We usually tend to have some unwanted characters tailing us, but that was few and far between," Kellyn added in. She then looked at the waiter as he came up. "I think I'll have... This Naboo smoked Gualama plate, with Tarisian rum to drink," Kellyn said with a smile. Jainee ordered the same thing, feeling her stomach growl with hunger.

"Tell me, though, Koran, have you even run into a freighter called "Zues?"" Jainee asked. Zues was a freighter similar to hers, belonging to a male amaran named Kale. He was violent and dangerous, endangering her life on several accounts. She wondered, though, if she was the only one he'd attacked for no reason.

'Zues?' Koran thought about it for a while. He had encountered countless of freighters, but he only remembered a few names. Zues was not among them. 'I don't think I have. Why do you ask? Are you trying to find this freighter?'

"Actually, he's been following us. I haven't seen the ship since my training finished, but I've been hunted by the ship before. It's a freighter... But it bares cannons as well... Like a pirate ship. But I've seen its' captain. He's another Amaran but has a yellow coat. When I met him... He was evil. A twisted man. He's killed before, I know that," Jainee said. She remembered the look in Kale's eyes. He was twisted.

"His name's Kale Gared. I don't know the force or anything, but he was a force sensitive. I could tell. It seemed to resonate from him. He was... Oh, what are they... A Dark Jedi, I think," Kellyn added. She took a small sip of her rum.

'Interesting,' Koran said. 'I've run into plenty of Dark Jedi, but I don't think I ever encountered an Amaran. I'm sorry. I might be able to help you find him, though.'

Koran used to be a Dark Jedi himself and so he knew exactly where to look for Dark Jedi. It was a huge galaxy, almost endless, yes, but Koran knew how to track someone down. He'd done it a lot.

"That would be fine. I wouldn't worry about it now, though. He hasn't bothered me yet, so I'm not that worried about where he is. I mostly wanted to know if we were the only ones who'd run into that ship before," Jainee said as she took a bite of her food. The meat was tender and moist, tearing apart easily and filled with the most flavorful juices. She washed it down with a gulp of her rum.

"How far in the outer rim have you traveled?" Kellyn asked as she took a bite of her food, getting the same reaction as Jainee. Kellyn seemed to enjoy hers more, though. She preferred meat over anything else, while Jainee was an omnivore. Kellyn took another polite sip of her drink.

'I've seen the edges of known space,' Koran said. 'I've traveled all across the galaxy. And you two?'

He cut some of his meat and ate it. Sometimes he took a sip of his ale. It tasted rather good for space station food. It was not bad at all.

"I've traveled throughout all republic space, but never made my way into Hutt territory," Jainee admitted. She took another bite of her food, followed by another sip of her drink.

"I'll admit while Jainee was training we flew to a Hutt world called Svivren, but that was for a major job by a private client. We told her about it through holopads, and she approved," Kellyn said. Jainee continued to eat her food.

'Hutt territory isn't worth going to, believe me,' Koran said. 'It's really just scum and villainy over there. Anyhow, I suppose my vessel should be refueled soon enough. How long are you staying on this station, again?'

He had to report back to CARD soon. Otherwise they'd send out a rescue mission, even though everything was fine. He just needed fuel.

"We'll be here for a week, approximately. Out ship takes a lot of fuel and we have a huge delivery. The payout is nearly a couple million credits, though. It's a huge reward for such a mission. Though, I don't know what's in those crates. I suppose more food and munitions from the republic as a gesture of good faith," Jainee said as she finished her meal and drank the rest of her rum.

"Perhaps we'll run into each other again sometime. Want to exchange holopad signatures?" Kellyn asked. She wouldn't mind keeping in contact with Koran, and she was sure Jainee didn't mind either.

'Sure thing,' Koran said about the holopad signatures. 'We'll keep in touch.' He reached inside his backpack, which stood next to his chair to get his own datapad. He put it down on the table.

'Actually,' he said, 'I might rent a room here so I can get some sleep before taking off. Do you know where I can rent a good room?'

Sure. Kellyn and I tend to stay on the ship simply because we made it home, but there's plenty of good inns and hotels on the station. One of them would be just outside this restaurant which has a beautiful view of the Keranian Nebula," Jainee said, pointing to the western entrance to the restaurant, which was marked with the character that meant west on it.

"Cap'n really did put time, credits, and efforts into making the inside of our ship class A, though. Some of the entertainment factors of the ship, you wouldn't realize she was a freighter until you got to the maintainance, engines, and storage levels. Crew quarters, mess hall, cockpit, and guest quarters are really decked out," Kellyn said as she pulled out both her holopad and Jainee's. She knew Jainee would've forgotten it so she went and got it before they left. Jainee cast a thankful glance at her.

'Interesting,' Koran commented about the ship. 'I'd like to see that, if possible.'

He was curious. If it really was how Kellyn described it, it'd be quite the vessel. Koran wanted to see that with his own eyes. His own ship wasn't all that special at all. It was just a quick, small freighter with a hyperspace engine. Nothing more, nothing less.

I wouldn't mind giving you a quick tour of the ship. That'd be fine. I'll admit, the outside of the ship can fool you, but her engines and her cannons are top of the line for her class. And after this tune-up, I'm anxious to see how much smoother my baby is," Jainee said with a smirk. She was proud of her ship. It was technically a gunship cruiser with the cannon structure and placement, but Jainee had the cargo space and guest quarters added when the ship was being built. She only wanted cannons for defense. The ship itself was meant to be a fast heavy freighter.

"She may not look like it, but she's one of the fastest heavy freighters in the galaxy," Kellyn added. They were bragging, sure, but the ship could outrun a republic carrier or a Hutt battle cruiser. The Harriot was a fast ship for its' size.

'I have to admit, you two have really made me curious,' Koran said with a smile. He finished his meal and reached inside one of the pockets of his trousers for his wallet. 'I'll pay for the dinner, if that's ok with you?' He looked to Jainee, then to Kellyn, then back to Jainee, and then sought eye-contact with the waiter.

The waiter noticed Koran and came to their table. 'I hope you enjoyed your meals,' the waiter said politely.

'Sure did,' Koran answered. 'How much?' He opened his wallet.

"You don't have to. We appreciate your kindness," Jainee said with a polite smile. She looked at the human waiter, eyeing him up and down. Kellyn remained silent, looking through her backpack for a datapad she remembered she needed to look at. It had information on whether they had reserved hotel rooms or not, and whether there was also any side jobs it picked up from the stations' network.

"We'll head off to the ship once the bill is paid," Kellyn said as she rummaged through her pack.
