A faint shadow flicked next to the mandalorian and what appeared to be a Jedi. Hopefully they had not noticed the slight malfunction in John Veranasa's camoflauged armor. He had been sent by the sith docking patrols the moment they had picked up two lifeforms aboard a freighter. The pilot had fooled the person running the moniter into thinking it was a malfunction, but not his superiors. Clearance had already been granted, but as a security measure they had contacted John and ordered him to tail these two. He was under strict "do not kill unless completely necassary" protocol and he Hated every second of it. He was a soldier, not a plaything. Still, there were bills to pay, and if this was the only way to pay them, so be it.

 

[The Balance]

Yi was right James should not kill this man, and it took all his self restraint to do it. He didn't want to draw unecessary attention to them. All he wanted to do was to speak to Pappi. But then there was that flicker James had seen as he lunged at the man. He had learned to much in his life to know it was not a trick of his eyes, he decieded to let Yi handle that matter, while he dealt with this one. He replied to Yi, "You are right my friend, but one thing I do find interesting is that flicker of, I really can't grasp it but I can't investigate it because I'm a little tied up at the moment."

He stayed out of the man's combat range as he said these words, after he was done, he sheathed his knife and roundhouse kicked the man. Dodging that the man swung at James but it also missed. James Thought, so you have gotten better. He decided to use his move, roundhouse kicking the man again, this time the man tried to block it, but at same time James jabbed him in the face. The man fell and James jumped on top of him, grabbing him by the shirt collar he threw him back into the sidewalk, and said, "Leave now or this time I really will kill you."

John immediately registered that the mandalorian had noticed him and unslung his assualt rifle. If these two started a fight with him, he would be more than happy to oblige. The mandalorian he knew he could take, the jedi......he was not so sure, but he was a soldier, so he would win, or die trying. This thought energized him and he leveled the assualt weapon directly at the jedi's midsection, the magnetized armor piercing rounds would tear through the jedi in an instant if it was necassary. He wouldn't pull the trigger unless provoked, lucky for them. John was sure that it might not be necassary to kill, but he wouldn't take any chances. Thinking like that had almost cost him his life a year ago on Corellia.

 

[Dexington]

Seeing James continue through his course of action, Yi finally took matters in to his own hands to stop it. Raising his hand, he picked the man up off the ground with the force, from under James and raised him high in the air. Fear was clearly eminating from every pore on his face. Though Yi didn't like doing it, he simply threw the man behind him and then looked to where James said he saw the light.

It would seem that someone was watching us...

Yi's hand then went to grab his lightsaber, prepared for any blaster shot that would come towards him.

 

[The Balance]

James saw Yi reaching for his lightsaber and thought it might be a bad idea. After all it was Yi's idea to keep a low profile. So he said to Yi "Don't take that out, lets try to solve this through words, we don't want to attract any attention."

James then turned to Pappi and asked, "Pappi, is there any equipment that can make a man invisible?"

Pappi thought about this and answered, "When I was a Madalorian, there was a camoflauge pack that they gave to high ranking Madalorians and those who had done good deeds for them."

James thought about it, so they were dealing with some one with camoflauge armor eh. James then spoke to whoever and where ever that person was "We do not want to fight you, make yourself visible and we will talk this out peacefuly"

 

[Elite]

John smirked and chinned the camoflauge deactivation switch inside his helmet, all the while keeping his gun trained on the Jedi.
"I'm listening"
He said in a cold but thoughtful voice.

 

[The Balance]

James located where the voice was coming from and responded, he had never been good with words but now as if by magic, or the force, he knew the right things to say"There is no need for you to keep your gun trained ay my friend." The man was fully armed and armored, but if it came down to it, it was three vs. one, in their favor. "Also do you like following people around or is there a reason your following us? Answer me these questions and maybye we can work things out." James tensed and was ready to jump for cover if that man even came close to pulling that trigger.

Instinct told John that this man's words were true, but his combat training often interfered with these "gut feelings". He lowered his weapon and slung it across his back. He turned towards the mandalorian.
"I am John. I was hired to follow you two by sith docking patrols after they picked up two lifeforms aboard your ship. I'm a former soldier from the small civil war on Corellia. After the war ended I became a mercenary."
John paused for a moment as images from his year in the war flooded his mind. He shook his head to clear them and returned to looking at the Mandalorian.
"And who are you two?"

 

[The Balance]

James replied to the man, "I am James Feron, a madalorian recruit, and a freelance adventurer, and this here is Yi Arktoo. We are here to visit an old friend, (he motions to Pappi) and to check out my old neighborhood. I can see that while the person on the monitor believed my lie, his boss was not so naive. We are not interested in a fight, but if it comes down to it we will. You are welcome to join us, but if you have any intentions of betryal don't even bother joining."

 

[Elite]

John sighed inwardly as his built in COM device started beeping, indicating a transmission on standby, waiting to have a channel open to it. He clicked it off, not wishing to be bothered by those accursed sith docking patrol officers.
"I suppose it beats returning to my employers empty handed. And besides, I never really liked those stuffy uptight sith anyway. I'll tag along."
He quickly saluted, indicating his sincerity.

 

[Owneh]

As this is happening, the Jedi Cheng Sha lands to the ground, he walk out of his ship. As he takes his first steps on Corscant, he senses a jedi recently passed this way. He sets out to try and find him, it was a long time since he had saw another jedi. He was seperated by the sith, took in as a prisoner after a small duel. He was released after every bit of information about the duel and being a prisoner had been whiped. Cheng knew that he had been captured by the sith. Why else would he have a big blank in his memory. He knew he had aged, atleast a few decades. Other beings zoomed past Cheng, as he used the force to speed up his movements, more exited of catching up on what had happened in the recent years than anyone else could ever imagine. It was his freedom, and he couldn't wait to see what difference he could make after all these years.

James was glad that the man had decided to join them and in return saluted the man. He then turned his attention to Pappi, he could not wait to tell Pappi about his adventures and his acceptence into the Madalorians. Once he had done that, he decided that Yi had held up his side of the bargan in letting him visit Pappi, and then turned to Yi and said "Where to now"

Cheng soon gets closer to the men, he uses force hearing and hear him say "where to now" Cheng listens closer, just to make sure the jedi isnt being mind controlled somehow. And the other man had made him a captive. Cheng wasnt in a rush to becoming a prisoner again.

The entire event played out and Yi had not spoken a word. James seemed to be a good tactitian. He talked his way out of a fight, even though he was a Mandalorian, who were supposed to be warriors instead of diplomats. Regardless, Yi was impressed and thanked the Mandalorian with a slight bow.

"I need to see the Jedi..."

Yi stopped himself. It was no longer the Jedi Temple. The Sith had taken it over, and they weren't even using it properly. There was little training taking place, only used as a sanctuary for the Dark Lord to sit and contemplate his own greatness. Yi felt that this would change, very shortly.

"The temple. I need to see it."

John smiled beneath his helmet's mirrored faceplate.
"The Jedi temple? That place is bound to be crawling with sith soldiers, lords, whatever."
John laughed.
"Sounds like fun."
He hefted his assualt rifle and checked the ammo counter. It was full, and he had several clips on backup. If they did go to the Jedi temple, he felt he might need every single one of them.
"When do we leave?"

 

[The Balance]

The Jedi temple, eh. The Jedi temple as John said was bound to be a hive of sith. He knew they needed a plan and somehow he knew he might need to be the one to come up with it. Ever since he had been around Yi he had felt if something had been flowing through him, like a dam in his body had just been opened and whatever was behind it was flowing through him, when he was with Kylina it was like only a trickle of the substance had escaped the dam. His mind was no exception, and he replied to the John "We leave now. Were just going in for a survey so here is the plan. We need you to follow us with your camaflague armor on and back us up if we get in trouble. Yi and I will take a look around and Yi will see what he needs. After that we will decide on our next move. Give me your com number in case we get seperated."

"My COM is on 2 frequencies.THe first is my employers link to my com system. The second is a high security frequency reserved specifically for the members of my squad back on Corellia. It comes up on a com scan as frequency 42337. It password restricted, so we came up with a special codeword back home. The password to open the private channel is HADES."
John chinned the control for the camoflauge in his armor and faded from view.
"Test the private COM channel now."
He said to James.

Cheng knew they would need help, if they were to survive. And he may be there only chance. Yet, chris knew that a possible outcome might be that they will be captured, and the likelyhood is, no one would rescue them. But, if Cheng followed behind, he could rescue them, or help them when they do need help. He would be their backup plan. He force cloaked his aura, and his body. And followed behind, keeping at a safe distance so not to be heard.

 

[Will]

Kirisoto Mizubunshin found himself on Coruscant. He awoke in a corner, still with his cannister and sword. He must've been shot down with his flying boat... He sensed evil everywhere, and for a horrible moment, though he had been sent to the burning plains of the unnamed one. But, he was not impaled on the tree of spikes, and so felt minor relief. He sensed a light presence, like a candle in the abyss. He steadily moved towards it, seeking out the warm glow. He kept a circle of water spinning around his right fist, just in case it was a trap. His white clothes hid his armour, all bar the new forehead and cheek protector he wore, emblazoned with the sigil of a Knight of Azureth. He had revived the order when he had heard of the war, and created the headband for it. He came on to a road, and spotted a group of Jedi and soldiers. He froze. They would have seen him now. He hoped they were friendly, and not going to take him for a Sith.

John had a lot of security he thought, from his outward appreance to his communications array. James took out his commlink and did all John told him, he then spoke into saying "Testing, testing, lets go to the temple" and Johns breathing in return he knew they were good to go.
