[The Balance]

OOC: I think this thread is before the battle of corscant.

This was not for James strange men coming from out of thin air, it made his head hurt. But how could they trust this man, four was fine, and they did not know how long he had been following them. James spoke up, "Sir, before you take another step forward, tell us your name and intentions. This group has no intention of taking the temple only surveying it."

 

[Elite]

John sighed. This was becoming a very strange day. But all the same, the appearance of another man startled him slightly, and he aimed his assualt rifle directly at the man's heart.
"Identify yourself or die."
He said in a cold, unwavering voice.

 

[The Balance]

Seeing John raise his gun at the man's chest, James was startled he didn't want another brawl on his hands. Immediately James said to John, "Lower your weapon, whether he be friend or foe, there is no need to kill him." John's shoot first ask questions later attitude, was starting to annoy him. There was no need to attract unecessary attention, and that was startin to become inceasingly harder, with the more people coming toward them. The substance was starting to flow more freely with this man around, he really wished he knew what it was.

 

[Will]

Kiri moved his hand, making mist pool around the gun barrel, turning to water, and forming a blockage. ''Do not be so hasty. He is not a Sith.'' He said in an uncompromising tone to John. He turned to the man. ''What are your intentions for hiding yourself for so long, fellow force wielder? What brings you to us?'' Kiri was still wary, and kept control over the water circling his body, just in case anyone tried anything.

 

[Elite]

John bristled slightly at the water forming around his gun. Having anything that could damage the gun that got him through the war on his homeplanet immensely annoyed him. Thankfully, his military discipline forced these emotions down and he slowly lowered his assault rifle and sighed.

 

[Dexington]

"I believe this one is a Jedi... Or would like to be."

Yi could feel the force through this newcomer, stronger than in the Mandalorian, so he could obsiously wield the force if given proper training. It was not surprising, plenty of Jedi hopefuls came from Coruscant. However, if he wanted to be a Jedi, he would need to take care of the make or break attitude, the fighting spirit. Such things were suited for the Sith, not the Jedi.

"Tell me..."

Yi shut his eyes and searched through the force user's mind, searching for only a name.

"Cheng, what could you do inside that temple that even I am afraid of?"

OOC: Incase anybody was wondering since this is on corscant, this is before the battle

Yi was the was the wisest and most capable member of the group, if he was scared of something, then it was a proablem for them all. For all their sake he hoped this new jedi, Cheng was it, was wrong, but something inside him said he was right. Preparing for the worst James began to tense as if expecting the enemy to come now

 

[Elite]

John tensed at the jedi's words and activated the motion tracker in his helmet, it would pick up any movement within a hundred yard radius. If something tried to attack them, he would know.

 

[Owneh]

"I am a jedi, not a sith. I have no intentions of harming you, I followed you to make sure you were friendly, I have not seen another jedi in a long time. I was once a member of this temple, untill it was raider, and I was taken prisoner. That was 10 years ago now, I escaped, and lived on this planet for a long time. Now i have returned to help you. When you walked towards the temple, I was going to drop behind and follow you in, I would be your backup plan. Now when you said you will not go in, i was dissapointed. Now. Anyone with me? We can restore order."

 

[The Balance]

OOC: No Problem

Cheng's attitude was starting to annoy him, this man was stubborn. There was no way they were going to take this temple, it was just illogical. If the others wanted to do it he would follow but it was definetly not his first choice of action. James replied to cheng's statement calmly, "Cheng it is great that you want to retake this temple, but is just illogical. Three Jedi, one madalorian, and one mercenary cannot take a place that is seething with dark side energy." He did not know how he knew this, but it was something inside of him. "I think we should take a vote on what to do"

 

[Owneh]

"Your words are true, yet there is another way of getting into the temple instead of barging in attacking all who we see, less people have taken over a star destroyer. We should get into the temple using stealth, then we shall find the main security system, disactivate the turrets and defence systems. We could then find the main leaders on the com cameras, we could use his own security system against them, then locking them in the rooms. The mandolorian could open the doors for us, while keeping them locked everywhere else. Stopping any suprise attacks. We could use the turrets to even turn on the sith, we have alot of choices. But I do know one thing, kill the leaders, and they will run. You are right to be weary, but there is a fine line between staying safe and cowardness. Doing this will make us heroes of this planet, we will be recorded in history, aswell as saving alot of lives, bringing justice to this planet."

Cheng walked towards the other men, looking into there eyes one by one, showing confidence, hoping it will pass onto them.

 

[The Balance]

OOC: Star Destroyers have not been invented yet

This man's words were crazy, yet inspiring. But still they could not rush into this that was one obvious vote for yes. There were still the others though. Speaking up first James replied, "As true as that may or may not be this is a group and we will make our decisions together. So thats one vote yes, none for no."

 

[Dexington]

"Your overconfidence is your downfall, young one. Your plan is fuilled with holes and includes no back up incase we are overwhelmed by the Sith, which would undoubtedly happen."

He thought the point was clear. There were five of them and probably hundreds of Sith inside the temple. At the least, a twenty to one ratio, something that not even the most powerful of Jedi could overcome.

 

[Elite]

"I agree with the Jedi. It is foolish to even think of trying to take back the temple with such a small group. You would need several armies just to make it in the front door."
John said, eyeing cheng warily.

 

[The Balance]

James keeping count said, "Two for no, one for yes, Kiri, whats your opinion." Both Yi and John had valid points, it would be almost impossible for the five of them to take the temple.

 

[Will]

Kiri thought long and hard. Storming the temple was very difficult, yes, but, here was a method that might work. All they would have to do is hide themselves...

But how could Kiri hide himself? He had never been taught to cloak his aura, and the two non-force sensetive mercenaries would be spotted straight away by 'sniffers'

''If there was a flawless method of stealth, then yes, i would vote in favour. But, as i cannot even hide myself, let alone two non-sensetives, i would have to say we cannot go through with this plan. If we had more Jedi, with the correct training...'' Kiri trailed off.

 

[Owneh]

I will train the force-sensitive ones in the art of cloaking your aura and your body. For the others, I know of a local shop that sells stealth belts, making you invisable. Who knows, we may find someone who can help us. So, shall we go to this shop?

 

[The Balance]

" Cheng, is your skull thicker then madalorian iron, its basically impossible for five men to take on hundreds of sith. I'm a gambling man and I'm all for taking risks but these are some pretty long odds. Even with all of us being invisble it would not take long for someone higher up in there to discover us, and the sniffers would find John and I pretty quick." the words were flowing through James enhancing his speech, trying to convince cheng of his foolish ways. "Besides we took a vote and it is four for no and one for yes."

 

[Elite]

This younger Jedi was seriously beginning to annoy John. His persistance of wanting to go and try to retake the Jedi Temple was irritating. His plan had many flaws, and was downright foolish.
"My armor can become invisible on it's own. But that doesn't mask my presence from the sniffers. Your plan is foolish, if not downright idiotic. I thought all Jedi were wise. Not reckless and foolhardy."

 

[Owneh]

Yet what you forget is, the security system is on the top floor. If I landed on the ceiling from some ship I could sneak past the sniffers get into the security systems room and kill the system.
