Lillianne seemed relieved to see the man conscious once again. "I believe your sword was what got you into this mess," she chided but in a pleasant voice. "It is good to see you are well. You sword is here somewhere, yet you should rest for now. You would not want to open your wound again."

She turned her face to the other two who had helped. "Thank you, Isiah," she said to her previous companion. Then turning her attention to the other man, she smiled at him. "Thank you as well, sir."

She looked ready to offer her hand, but a quick glance to the blood dried upon it caused her to hide it behind her back instead.

Picking up the blade the unfortunate apprentice, Mordecai wipped the blood off on the grass. Sliding it into the man's sheath, Mordecai turned to the girl, smiling back at her, he ripped off a small patch of his cloak that was dangling from a few threads and handed it to her: "There, wipe it off, it's unbefitting of you." He told her, his voice clear and calm, a tenor tune resting on the grass. "I am Mordecai." He added, bowing his head.

"You know, this may look easy, but if we just sit here for another hour gabbing then I might get tired. He may be patched up but I believe we should atleast get him to someone soon, just for good measure," Isiah wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything, he resorted to some humor to calm himself down.

OOC: Shane, dear, he's patched up and the bleeding was stopped for now. ;)

She reached out, trying to stop him from tearing his robes, but was too late.

"Your robes," she said mournfully as he handed the piece of cloth to her. "You didn't have to do that," she said as her eyes met his own. "Now your robes are ruined."

However, no matter how sorry she appeared for him having ruined his robes, he could tell she was touched that he would do so.

*Marius groaned in Isiah's arms. His pale faced head turned, and his arms moved, but just a little. His hand moved out to Mordecai, his fingers moving fast.*

"My sword, if you will. Can you guys get me help? I feel like the bottom half of my body no longer exists."

OOC: I believe that Mordecai thought that your sheath was on you. He put it in your sheath so if it sin't on your body sorry for even posting this.

"Well, that is usually a signal to get moving. I know there is some infirmary on the grounds but I have never been there and haven't really explored the place too much."

Isiah shifted his weight a little. Marius was becoming a bit uncomfortable to carry. Not unbearable but if they stood here for much longer he'd end up dropping the poor guy. That wouldn't make the situation any better and Isiah would most likely get yelled at. Isiah started to turn and started to look to which door he was supposed to take that would lead him to some authority figure. To bad there were no 'You Are Here' signs.

"Noted." Mordecai returned curtly to Isiah, before laughing at the girls response. "They were already beyond salvation, dried blood is not easy to clean." He replied, a jovial smile on his face. Turning to Isiah, before moving to share some of the burden of the man: "Alright, what say we go and fetch a healer?" He added, looking at the small group of Bendu. Turning to the girl he motioned with his head to the food arayed in wicker baskets: "Shouldn't have it go to waste, and this guy'll need some food after loosing all that blood."

OOC: :unworthy:

"Well no sense in wasting time here, you take the lead Mordecai. Lilliane, please grab the grub."

He hadn't eaten anything all morning and he could use a nice grab from the basket, being sure to leave some there wounded comrade of course.

OCC: I am using banana since it is my favorite fruit.

*Marius used one of his hands and took a banana. He gulped it down fast, and ate another soon after. It wasn't until thirteen banana peels littered the ground that he felt another groan from his stomach.*

Lillianne nodded and immediately went to one of the unattended baskets. Grabbing it, she looped it onto her arm and hurried after the others.

It was funny how men could even eat after the ordeal. She was still a little sick at her stomach from seeing all the blood and smelling it's metallic scent. She'd always hated fighting and bloodshed afterall. If people would listen more than act, they would often find that bloodshed was not needed. Still, she could admire those who used such training techniques to keep physically fit.

OOC: Oh, leader, take us to a new locale...lol.

Darien had stood there, watching over the shoulders at how they worked together, and not simply to gain status, or better themselves, but to help someone else, someone they had no need to help. It wasn't something he'd seen before, and it left an odd feeling of guilt within him, and he decided it was his time to help and stepped in front of the group pointing down the right hallway, he'd been doing a bit of investigating before he walked into the courtyard and thought he had passed the medical center.

"The infirmary is this way I think." he said, guilt apparent in his voice.

Though he wouldn't relish in helping the apprentice who probably would not help him had it happened to him, but knew that the others would look down on him if he was the only one in the courtyard that didn't do anything at all. Then he turned back to see that everyone was going to follow, rather than just taking off around the corner.

"Good, I had no idea where it was." Mordecai returned, shifting Marius' wait to a more pliable position. The wound was starting to swell, and it had turned to a garish purple colour. "Hmm, that's not good." He added, more to himself. "Well, lead on, don't want to get lost, now do we?"

(((Short, but not much I can do.)))

OOC: *plays heroic horn song* Never fear, Izzy is here!

Upon learning where the infirmary was Isiah tokk quick action, "Hold on to your bannana kid!" He took the full weight of Marius and started to run to the door. The faster this guy got medical care, the faster he could get back to his day. Not that helping him was a hassle he'd just rather be doing other things than holding a bleeding guy. Isiah had to manuever himself so Marius's head and feet wouldn't smack into the doorway. He turned to his right and saw a door with a red croos like symbol on it.

"Well, whaddya know. I've got a bleeder here!"

Isiah lacked the ability to be calm in situations like these. He tried to kick the door open but after some cursing and a short pain in his right leg, he found that the door opened towards him. Once inside he layed Marius down on a cot and waited for a healer to come to them. A small guy with a bandaged leg and a guy with orange hair will definately stick out good enough though, so the wait should be short.

(( Sorry all, I only let Nexus know that I was sick of the SWRP. Nobody here is a direct cause, so I havnt really been looking at this site for a while...))

Priestess Navere sighed, she was tired, all of the younglings where eating, and her brothers and sisters in the faith where in a meeting, something to do with the Yale. The only on-staff healer, Navere was alone in the infirmery. Leaning forward the young woman rubbed her eyes and studied the medical volume in front of her.

... and so it may be, in times of discouragement, that even those not blessed by Yahweh have proven that even they could heal minor lacerations and cuts. Be warned, such methods are dangerous, and can easily backfire. Please refer to chapter III for more details..

Suddenly a loud pounding was heard. Someone was banging on the infirmery door. Walking out into the main room, the Priestess found herself staring at two apprentices, once was very pale, and wasn't moving. Not sparing even a second, Priestess Navere leaped forward. Opening a small drawer she held a small cannister of Kolto.

"Move child."

The healer bent over inspecting the wound. It was too bloody to tell how bad, or how deep it was. Spraying the Kolto over the wound, she sat for a second, watching. After a minute she reached under the cot, and pulled out another cannister. Opening it, she withdrew a small tablet and put it in a nearby cup.

Looking down at her patient all she said was: "Drink."

She was a flurry of activity, only stopping once, to re-arrange her attire.

Lynn was tired, not physically, but mentally. He watched as the apprentice with the sword was taken to the infirmery. His friends all sat eating, except for one who carried him off. Lynn didn't really know any of them. He made his way to a different blanket and surveyed the pickings. Sitting down next to a young female hopeful he started to eat. Across from him one of the apprentices was talking, quite loudly in fact.

"Hah! I heard what's going on! Supposedly the teachers are going to hold a Yale!"

Lynn raised his eyebrows but said nothing. It seemed this apprentice seemed to be in a debate with a female of the same age.

"I doubt it Oal, the teachers havn't held Yale in years! The newer apprentices dont even know what it is!"

Oal laughed.

<span style="color:#FF0000">"Too bad for them, huh?"
