Reiel was not one to make grand exclamations in front of other people then parade herself so cockily around said people afterwards. At best, she was actually an embarrassed mess after, having pulled her father to the side to ask the Zabrak repeatedly if she was too dramatic, if she did and said the right things, if she stuttered, et cetera.

After ten harrowing minutes (to Reiel, anyway) of pacing around an empty hallway with her buir as her amused audience, the pair of Crows strode quietly into the revelry, leaving their arrival unannounced. Esconced in the farthest end of the room mirroring their place in the shadows during the gathering earlier, two pairs of eyes – one gaze unimpressed but not judging and the other sharp with mirth – watched in silence as the scene before them devolved into fighting.

"So, alor," Wulfric broke the silence between the two, helmeted head lowering to regard his daughter who leaned against him for support in more ways than one. "These are the kin us Crows would bleed and die for?"

Reiel, always so unashamed of showing affection to those she loved most, burrowed ever so subtly further into her father's arm, small hands cupping a mug of strong ale. Sipping from her straw, the younger Crowholde shrugged.

"Better let them fight it out, whatever issues they're having. They can kick and punch and bite to their hearts' content, as long as they don't kill each other."

And she left it at that, her father nodding in understanding as they resumed silently watching everything unfold.

Shale’s hit found purchase. However, Blank followed up with a keldabe kiss. The Vizsla’s head jerked back from the solid hit, and she saw stars for a moment. Her eyes watered beneath the helmet. Thankfully, her leg sweep also worked, but her being dazed meant she dropped like a sack of potatoes as soon as Blank fell.

As soon as they fell, Shale scrambled to recover from the headbutt. She rolled over to straddle the other Mando, slamming her hands down on Blank’s biceps to limit her range of motion. Even if Blank still held onto Shale’s arms, she wouldn’t be able to do much. Shale gazed down at Blank, her legs on both sides of her hips as she firmly planted herself atop the Solus. All of her weight was pressed down on Blank's arms.

“I already knocked out your tooth,” She reminded Blank, her visor hovering above the Solus', “How about you yield and replace the taste of copper with an ale?”

Stars swam in Blank's eyes from the keldabe kiss for a moment as she hit the ground with an oomph, the air forced out of her lungs. She shook her head to clear her vision as she tried to scramble up, only to be pushed back down as a firm weight settled square over her hips and hands clamped down on her biceps.

The darkness and stars faded away, turning to red as her sight revealed Shale's visor inches away from her own and she gritted her teeth and snarled as she struggled against the Vizsla's grip for a moment, bucking and straining against the woman's might as she tried to get free. The words hit her brain after a moment and the red faded from Blank's vision as she settled into stillness for a moment, though her muscles still remained tense and ready.

The tenseness turned into a rhythmic shaking as laughter rang out from behind Blank's helmet.

"Aye you did, sucker punched me with my helmet off." She sucked at the empty spot where a tooth had been merely moments ago before continuing. "Copper tastes good but ale tastes better, I like you Vizsla... Share a drink with me. I yield." The words were only a small blow to her pride, nothing a little ale couldn't fix. Besides if the clan's were coming together again... Well she would have plenty of chances to earn it back.

The other Mandalorian was really good at spinning pretty speeches.

Mysha knew she wasn't one much for words--anyone who had actually talked to her could attest-- but kad, this woman made her feel like a mute. At the mention of others being jealous, Mysha merely shrugged, sipping down more of her drink before responding.

<"You'd think so... unless their partner was Kotii.">

At the mention of her man arriving, she tilted her helm to where the Rally Master had indicated--

Right as he was bodyslammed and dragged across a table by a much smaller Mandalorian. Kryze, she noted, uttering out a low oath when the sudden commotion made the drink fly from her hands...

And others into her lap.

She was staggered back from her seat by the resulting table-fight, and rolled backwards, only to pop up on her feet, hand immediately settling on her hammer before she properly assessed the situation, and eased her hand from it. She and Kotii had discussed the probability of him getting the shit kicked out of him by at least three other Clans, but for it to cost a decent Narcolethe was downright annoying.

This wasn't her fight, but it still grated on her nerves. Wiping off the ale from her front, she glared at Kotii through her visor, her voice sharp even as he battled on.

<"I can't believe you were so careless to not notice someone on a jetpack, honey badger,"> she scolded, clenching her fists.

<"But I suppose it can't be helped.">

She wasn't sure who she wanted to deck first, but she felt that it would be unwise to immediately leap into the fray, unless the Kryze wanted to make it her problem. Let them fight out their grievances, but if others were to leap into the fight themselves, she wouldn't be able to hold herself back from leaping in a fourth time.

Van'Aria watched the entire ordeal happen whilst still sitting down on the bench adjacent to the table that she in almost slow motion watched crumble in front of her, it was a nice table, she enjoyed sitting here a lot, there were some very fond memories to be had at this very table and the fact that Kotii followed by a Kryze, smashed through it was.... upsetting.

Infact... if this was a cartoon, one would hear a kettle whistling originating solely centered on Van'Aria.

"You destroyed my table."

Her Words were more of a formality as she now rose to her full height from her previous seated conversion and cast an incredibly looming shadow over both the Kryze and Kotii alike, angering this Woman was very hard to do, but both of them managed to do so in a very short and concise manner, some would consider it a feat.

She brought her hands up to her neck and undid both clips that held her cape in place, which dropped almost a direct second later with a solemn thud the back of her Armor now fully visible which carried the solemn Emblem of Clan Solus painted on it.

The heavily armoured Mando woman then brought her hands down to crack her knuckles, Mysha having quite a bit of foresight could more than likely notice that the previously completely content Woman was preparing herself to... "Educate".

"This hall is so grand, and you elected... YOU elected to bring your fight to me. ME. Your... host."

Without another thought about it, Van'Aria had it, she would reach down in an attempt to grasp the significantly smaller Kryze by the collar and hurl her into the crowd of Mandalorians to her immediate right side. During this, she sharply turned her head to Kotii.

"I will deal with you later."

It was a warning not to interfere, of course Raya had a reason and good cause to start this fight, but she made a poor choice to disrupt Van'Aria's conversation, Kotii earned equally a scornful rebuke, but he was clan-kin, she could deal, scold and reprimand him at a later date.

Shale’s fight was over and she chuckled as she climbed off Blank, extending a hand down to hoist her to her feet. It was only then that she noticed the other fight happening. More importantly, it was when she noticed Kotii Solus walked through the doors. She looked at the scuffle, her focus quickly shifting to Van’aria as she tried to do her typical assertion of dominance. Shale’s blaster was out in a flash, pointed at the woman if she attempted to touch Raya in any way. Shale didn't agree with destroying a host's hall either, but she wouldn't tolerate selective punishment.

“You elected to bring a Dar’manda to this gathering,” Shale called out to Van'Aria, her voice projecting clear across the hall, “A man that not only betrayed his House, but has also wronged individuals in this very room personally,” She said she took slow steps towards the woman, blaster still leveled.

“Strutting about like an ostrich and giving lofty speeches does not make you a leader, let alone the Mand’alor you pretend to be,” If Van’Aria thought her height and flowery prose would make everyone quiver in their boots, she was sorely mistaken, “Kotii Solus is Dar’manda until Mand’alor decides otherwise. This is the way.”

There was a time when Shale backed Kotii for Mand’alor, when she saw him as the obvious choice. It was because of his absence that Nox had to step up and take on that burden. It was because of his choice that Nox took a role he never wanted, a path that ultimately broke him. And took Nox away from her. None of that mattered now, but Shale wouldn’t ever let a Solus intimidate their way into lording over others. Not when that had been the case in their history far too often. Van’Aria would learn soon enough when even she needed to sit down and shut up.

Arthos watched as Blank and Shale fought each other and exchanged a few quick words with one of the other Mandos just standing watching. As the fight came to an end, he accepted the credits he had won by betting on Shale to win - he never doubted his clanmate even if the Solus was a strong fighter. Setting aside fifty percent of his winnings, he set them down on the table where Shale's drink was.

Seemed fair - she'd done the work after all.

Checking the newcomers, Arthos raised both eyebrows when the Kryze woman literally rocketed away in order to try and get her hands on someone. He was probably going to call it uncalled for... until he noticed her target. He remembered that armour and, once, it might have filled him with fondness. Kotii and his family had worked with Arthos, helped him find his feet as a warrior and as a Mandalorian.

But that was before the call of the Crusades. Before the man turned his back on the future of his own people out of his own foolish sense of pride.

His own blaster was drawn in his right hand even as he drew his vibroblade in his left. Like Shale, his blaster was pointed across the room, though his had a bead directly on Kotii.

"This is the Way."

Arthos stepped up to stand level with his clanmate, aware that he was drawing a line in the sand. There was a very real possibility that some of the clan Solus here would side with a fellow badger... even if that badger had torn his own skin off to become a traitor to them and the Mandalorian people as a whole.

"You brought violence into this hall, Van'Aria, when you brought in a traitor to our people and expected everyone to ignore it. That is not the Way of the Mand'alor."

Daily exercise was amongst the traits that most Mandalorian’s had in common - and it hardly gave Kotii the type of closed-quarters advantage he was anticipating. Raya had a life-time of experience fighting larger opponents, and it was almost disappointing that the Solus resorted cheaply using the size difference as the crux of his defense and counterattack. Unfortunately, it hardly mattered with the Kryze’s jetpack engaged.

Raya felt her punch connect with Kotti’s jaw, and she deliberately didn’t give him much time to recover from the blow - keeping her arms up and above his waist-grab. The moment Kotti attempted to lift her, the Kryze tilted her torso backwards, allowing the propulsion of her still-engaged Jetpack to carry them swiftly into the air. It didn’t matter how strong Kotti might’ve been, there was no way he was grappling against the full force of a jetpack.

Unfortunately, this meant that the table was caught in the middle of their scuffle. The two of them would crash into the back of the furniture on their way up, knocking the drinks onto the floor and scuffing the surface.

With both of her arms free, Raya took the opportunity to land yet another hard punch to front of Kotii’s - roughly where his nose would be beneath the visor. Given that he was bear-hugging her waist, he would have little opportunity to defend himself from the second blow to the face.

Raya continued her upwards propulsion - carrying the two of them swiftly towards the ceiling of the Citadel. Whatever advantage Kotii’s height provided was swiftly turned against him, as the Kryze attempted to fly them directly into the ceiling - where his much larger, taller frame would collide with the hard surface first. She had every intention of bashing his skull into the ceiling. Even if the Solus engages his jet boots, he would have a difficult time attempting to change their trajectory.

Raya paid little attention to the scuffle below. Though her respect for Van’aria would likely reduce to nothing, the moment she realized the Rally Master had attempted to intervene in the fight.

For Kotii he was in decent shape considering his previous imprisonment by the Hutts and subsequent torture. But the Mandalorian was not as young and energetic as the woman attacking him. Still he had experience on his side.

The Solus felt his body move in a different direction than anticipated while his own feet began leaving the ground. Since that was what he had expected the Kryze to experience he was a little surprised. No contact on a surface meant his jetboots' combat mode was not effective mid-air. But it was nothing the echani offshoot could not recover from with a debatably helpful punch to his face. His head was pressed tight the Kryze's torso making it a slightly awkward punch but was far from pleasant. At least she did not crack the visor. Before she could strike a second airborne blow on his head or think of using her elbow, Kotii let go of her.

With his own weight no longer holding her jetpack down, she would accelerate faster towards the ceiling and risk impacting alone in the rafters of the grand hall. Meanwhile, Kotii used every ounce of quick reflexes to ignore the pain from the strikes to engage his jetboots in flight mode.

Alas the badger was too slow. The jetboots engaged but not quick enough before the bulk of the armored Mandalorian slammed into the table between Van'Aria and Mysha. Kotii let out a groan.

Van'Aria gave him a stern word as he recoverd. <"Aaah...seems people are collecting now...why wait?"> He half-joked a reply with a pained voice before standing up from the debris and table scraps. It probably was not the best thing to say to the woman, but Kotii had just been punched in the face twice and was still expecting the Kryze to come back down and attack him, which he was all for.

Kotii was not sure he caught everything that was being said on the ground before he returned. His visor saw the profile of a blaster leveled at him and in the hands of Arthos Vizsla no less. His shoulders sank slightly at seeing the Vizsla threaten him so seriously with a blaster. Kotii's helmet would look towards the Vizsla more directly so he would know Kotii had noticed. It seemed the Rally Master was the one being addressed despite it being Black Hand being threatened.

Tensions heightened incredibly quickly, Shale had Van'Aria's undivided attention within a fraction of a second and instead of advancing on her the large Woman stopped, she knew when to take a step and this was a moment where taking a step could decide the difference between a Clan War and not.

Insults aside it was not Shale that made this decision incredibly difficult for Van'Aria but rather the fact that Arthos backed her up, a Mandalorian that Van'Aria grew increasingly more fond off, her gaze flipped between Shale and Arthos repeatedly the confliction could be practically read in her posture, Shale spoke things that were almost uncontestable and that is what bound her hands.

"I respect your words, however much it pains me."

She directed this directly to Shale, there was no intention to fight as of current, but the large Mandalorian could not fight the urge to hover a hand over her Holster in case Shale does decide to fire away regardless, however the more time was spent on considering the odds and the words that Shale said more and more, eventually she conceded, in the end Creed was Creed, she was in no position to speak out over it.

"I Concede. This is the Way."

It was rare that she was humbled, but she was. Itll be a lasting memory for certain, a bad one? Uncertain. Her head turned to look at Kotii. "She is right. I cannot make this choice."

Blank was still grinning beneath her helmet as she took Shale's helping hand, grasping her around the wrist as she found her footing. It seemed things weren't over yet however as another scuffle was taking place that drew her opponent's sole attention. Blasters were drawn and Blank found herself watching a Kryze take the dar'manda Kotii up into the air to be smashed on the table as a tense confrontation carried out between Shale and her Rally Master.

Blank's eyes remained glued on Kotii, glaring daggers from beneath her helm.

For the most part, Clan Solus had accepted the Rally Master's word in allowing the former Alor a path to redemption. Blank hadn't been there when it had happened but held qualms with the decision personally. She knew Kryze held a grudge against the man, his decisions and actions after turning his back on the people and their crusade had sent ripples through the fabric of their society, ripples that resulted in lives lost.

Blank's hands hovered above her blasters as her visor remained locked on the traitorous Alor.

She had sworn to hunt him down and gut him when it had happened, and though many long years had passed since that day, she still felt a simmering resentment to the Alor turned dar'manda. She had begrudgingly accepted the Rally Master's word that Kotii was walking the path to redemption, but Shale had the right of it.

It wasn't her decision to make.

Van'aria could tell Clan Solus all she wanted that the man was no longer dar'manda, but held no authority outside of her own clan to force them into line and accept him. There was too much blood spilled and bitter feelings.

"This is the Way." Blank echoed the statement of the others around her as her eyes remained glued to the fight. She would not interfere, and she wasn't sure what she would do when the scuffle was over, but she stood with the Vizsla in this moment as they held firm.

Just as her second punch connected, Raya felt as Kotii abruptly released her waist, dropping like a sack of potatoes while she continued to sail upwards. Unlike most, Mandalorian warriors were trained extensively in the use of jetpacks during combat - and the fact she hadn’t been struck meant the Kryze was far quicker to react. She only sailed a few feet higher before abruptly cutting the ignition of her jetpack, bringing her upward momentum to a halt.

She used the opportunity to tilt her torso forward and back towards the ground - both hands brought out in front of her body - before activating the jetpack once again. It quickly allowed the Kryze to change trajectory midair, sailing downward and following Kotii towards the very fancy table that Van’aria was attached to. Her fingers reached over to engage the gauntlet buckler built into her vambrace, fully expecting for Kotii to draw a blaster during their fight.

For the moment, the Kryze ignored the confrontation around her - blitzing down towards Kotii. The Solus would barely have time to both joke with Van’aria and stand from the debris, before Raya attempted to slam directly into his torso with her shoulder, bringing them both to the ground and amongst the ruins of the keg table. The impact would likely be enough to knock the wind from Kotii’s lungs, and Raya was prepared to follow if the man attempted to veer off to the side to dodge.

“Yield.” She hissed through her helmet. She had no intention of letting Kotii off until their fight had properly concluded - one way or another.

<"Aaah...seems people are collecting now...why-"> Kotii cut his sentence short as Raya Kryze had a follow up attack. It was to be expected and unlike the first strike, the Solus was already warmed up. The blue glow of the Mandalorian's armor buckler encouraged the Solus to use his own devices.

Dropping down to a kneeling position for more stability, his right arm would point up towards the Kryze hurtling towards him. His left hand reached over to both stabilize and to activate the wrist mounted repulsor on his right gauntlet once Raya was in range. Even if she was moving at full speed with an energy shield, she was facing a direct repulsor blast from the ex Solus'alor and would risk being sent back up into the upper levels of the grand hall. She seemed adept at the rising phoenix so chances were she would come back around for another charge. He needed to come up with something else by then.

Kotii did not want to kill the Kryze. He did not want to kill any Mandalorian. He also did not want to escalate things and give others a reason to go too far. He knew there was tension all around but that was the whole point of this brawl. Kotii Solus had no intention of stopping until he or his opponent was unable or unwilling to continue. Other Solus knew this was the way to sort things out even before there was a Creed to follow.

Throughout the entirety of this ordeal, Mysha had kept silent. However, rage simmered and burned in her veins, both at their words, this situation. True, when she first realized Kotii was in fact, alive, and had turned his back on their people, she had brawled with him, intent to make him hurt as much as his betrayal did. There wasn't a part of her that didn't agree with the others that he had much to atone for, and that his own redemption was not the Rally Master Solus's claim to make.

However...

The right to overturn this decision was from a leader that had been missing in action, if not worse. And yet, when Kotii wanted to make amends, to heal the pain he caused, she couldn't contain the struggle to want to keep him from this path, that threatened pain, or worse, at the hands of fury. And yet, she couldn't blame them. She would have done much the same to her father's murderers if she ever had the chance to challenge them, which was why she couldn't intervene either.

This was Kotii's path. And he had hurt so many with his actions, even herself. Yet still, she couldn't hate him, even though she sometimes wanted to. He had also led so many to their deaths.

Still, when Arthos pointed his blaster at her man, she couldn't help but shift a little, frustrated not only at being in this difficult situation but not being able to help him without betraying her own strict holding to the Creed. Gritting her jaw, she settled her hands on her hips, and stared down Shale(@Sreeya), her voice low.

<"Then the Mand'alor must make that judgement.">

She glanced between all of them. Some of them seemed particularly eager to sink their grievances into Kotii; she could do little to stop that... and she wasn't certain if she would even try to. And yet her heart, her traitorous heart, just couldn't give him up. He came here for redemption, but she wasn't even certain if she fully forgave him either. Still, she would be on her guard as well, letting Kotii fight his current battle on his own. It wasn't her place to stop him, nor the Kryze.

<"This is the Way.">

Raya kept her buckler positioned in front of her body - prepared for whatever defense Kotii attempted during her downward charge. Her eyes narrowed behind her visor as the Solus dropped down to one knee and steadied his repulsor, prompting the Kryze to keep her head behind the protective barrier and tucked her elbow against her side. She knew there would be no time to dodge or veer out of the way, given the speed she was traveling.

Bracing herself, Raya grunted out in pain as the repulsor went off - sending the Kryze hurtling backwards a few feet, though not nearly as far as Kotii intended - the jetpack pushing her forward. She tumbled backwards as the ignition cut once more, allowing her to drop and roll across the floor of the Citadel a few times before bracing into the balls of her feet.

Rising from a crouch, Raya pulled the vibroblade from her hip - activating the blade in her left hand. She kept the buckler up defensively, her eyes fixed onto Kotii like a hawk. Once more, the Kryze began to close the distance between the two of them, prepared for whatever the Solus attempted to do next.

Kotii watched his repulsor's defense successfully thwart the airborne Mandalorian's charge, if but for a moment. With a momentary reprieve, Solus rose to his feet among the snapping and cracking pieces of the table and its contents, rolling his shoulder and causing some dust and drink droplets to shake free of his form onto the floor around him.

Kotii continued to keep an eye on the Kryze but she was clearly not satisfied. The Mandalorian would be lying if he said he was satisfied since he drew his own vibroblade in a reverse grip with his right hand. The weapon's edge blurred beyond the hilt as the Solus held it off to his side. The appendage spun the blade into a forward grip as his opponent approached him again, readying to slash or stab as needed.

The Mandalorian kept his cybernetic and dominant hand free to grapple in the ensuing melee that he expected to come. It also allowed Kotii to switch his hand held weapon from either hand or to use his repulsor if he wanted. Even though the warrior attacking him had a buckler and blade, that would only do her so much good in the long run.

The ex-Solus'alor was reminded of when he fought Song Wren, and how aggressively she had tracked and chased him down only to be bested by Black Hand. Kotii had not held back, but he had also not engaged Song in what could be considered "honorable" open combat. She had been a real threat and had intended to bring Kotii back warm or cold.

Now in front of an audience of other warriors and armorers Kotii was not wielding his weapon in his primary hand but that did not mean the Exile was not a threat. Every part of a Mandalorian was a weapon, even their mind. <"Finish what you started little one."> He dared the Kryze to come at him as he bent his legs and strengthened his stance. He wanted the mysterious Kryze to know he respected the threat she posed to him in turn. He was taking this seriously.

Hokaan waddled with a heavy crate in his arms while the chaos of Mandalorian merriment ensued. The contents of the crate was a collection of the slicer's own music instruments. When he approached the fiddler he did not open the boxy cargo right away but did set it down.

<"You're pretty good. Do you have a whole set you want to play?"> He asked the Skirata clan member with precise Mando'a diction. The Mandalorian had only learned the language from data tapes and from protocol droids. As a result his own speech sounded like it came from a textbook pronunciation. <"I have a lot of songs I can play but I am fine drinking in the mean time until it is my turn.">

His visor looked to scan at the party around the grand hall. The Veren clan member could not help but notice Genova in the middle of a scrap with another Mandalorian. There was a Kryze and Kotii Solus both air borne for a bit. Things were certainly lively. The slicer would keep an eye on Genova from his elevated place on the stage but he did not jump in.

This was the first time Hokaan had come to a party with other Mandalorians. Hell, it was the first time he had been to a party period. The young Armorer had drunk before but never with members of his own clan until today. His fingers tapped against his thigh plate to a beat in his head. Damn it. I just worked on that. Well at least I'll have a chance to practice my craft.

Tensions were still high and Arthos didn't lower his blaster but he did move it away from the fight - he wasn't going to make the social mistake of even looking like he was interfering with a fight in progress. Fights over honour, like this one, were to be respected above all others. Instead, his blaster pistol came to aim in the general direction of @Mysha Kelborn and @Van'Aria Solus both for a significant number of seconds before he lowered his aim to the floor, very pointedly not holstering the blaster.

"Then the choice made by the last Mand'alor and our people stands; regardless of the outcome of this fight, @Kotii Solus is Dar'manda and he will leave."

His voice was firmer than it had been before, noticeably far more authoritative as he used the tone of voice he had used during the crusades, when commanding forces. He had done his best to grow into a position of leadership, even if he was only a Rally Master. It helped that then, as now, he was not merely commanding something to happen.

He was relaying the wishes of the Mand'alor.

It was only after he had spoken that he turned to look at @Shale Vizsla to see how she was taking the change of events. He had made his stance clear - Kotii was not welcome until Mand'alor declared otherwise and there was no Mand'alor any longer. If his clanmate was willing to leave it at this, including the verbal submission of the argument from @Van'Aria Solus , then he would accept the de-escalation.

And resume his search for the hard liquor because he needed it for a drink and to throw at Kotii as he left the gathering.

Though masked behind her visor, Raya couldn’t help but aggressively roll her eyes when Kotii.. Effectively stood around and did nothing at all. The Solus had put up little offense during their entire engagement, and it was growing increasingly clear that the man had little interest in the fight. She promptly ignored the taunt that he tried to lodge her way, continuing to steadily close the distance between them.

It didn’t take her more than a few seconds to step back into melee range with Kotii. At once, the Kryze whirled in with a quick jab with her right first - forearm still covered by the protective barrier that her gauntlet provided.

She kept her left hand - and thus the vibroblade she wielded - kept out to her left side in preparation.

Doing nothing was sometimes the exact thing to do. In this case, it seemed to at least annoy the badger's enemy and lead to her making the first move. She did not want to talk, that was obvious. Usually striking first only helped when one had the element of surprise but in this case Raya was coming straight for him.

Kotii's body visibly tensed as she came close, measuring the distance he knew was his own strike range and what was her's. Before she entered his reach the Solus would step into the beginnings of her punch rather than be forced on the backfoot. Leading his step he would jab forward with his left towards Raya and would likely connect with the Mandalorian's gauntlet buckler. The vibroblade would be enough to short out the buckler in one strike if it landed and even run the risk of cutting into the Kyrze's armor underneath.

The attempted punch was possibly a feint, but Kotii expected it be genuine. The blue glowing appendage the Kryze used to lash out of him would be deflected enough from the blow of the vibroblade that Kotii would not be hit by the strike. Meanwhile, the Black Hand's dominant remained opened and splayed as a defensive measure. Behind his own visor, Kotii's crimson irises remained aware of the Kryze's own knife hand out and to his own right. If it came close to hitting him, his cybernetic left hand would move to intercept her weapon hand and keep the blade holding it from landing a blow.
