Hey guys,

I just signed up for the website after spending a few weeks looking for a decent starwars rp website. This place seems nice and very active so that'd be my reason for joining.

A little more about myself maybe, I'm an 18 year old girl from California. I enjoy reading and watching movies, along with hanging out with friends nad having fun in general.

I'm hoping to get into some nice roleplays here and maybe (preferably) make some new friends along the way.

Hellooooo, and welcome to the board! This site is pretty big and organized, and that can seem intimidating if you're new, so I'll try and break it down to you.

First things first, you gotta get familiar with the Rules and Guidelines. For right now, you really just gotta pay attention to the Site-Wide Rules. That's pretty much the Do's and Don't's and codes of conduct for around here, with the most relevant being the General Out of Character Rules. It seems like a lot, but it's really not. You'll probably read through them in about five minutes or so.

After that, we gotta get you writing (can't RP without a profile). If you're unfamiliar or new to the whole roleplaying experience, check this board out especially; Role-Play Guides.

Once you've got that down (or if you didn't really need it), the next thing you'd want to take a look at the Story, so that you can tell what's going on, ICly. Also, take a good look at the Technology and Disallowed Species and Planets listings. This is to make sure you don't pick a species or planet that may not have been discovered yet, or that is not allowed around here.

Now, after that it's time to decide if you want to be part of a faction, like the Jedi Order, Republic, Hutts, and so on, or if you'd want to out there on your own (which we call Indies, for Independent). These here are the Factions; Galactic Republic, Hutt Empire, Jedi Order, Bogan Empire, and Independent Factions.

So you'd drop by, check em out, and once you've decided, your next stop is here; Role-Play Profiles. That's where you're gonna write your characters up, where they'll be kept, and where people will comment on them, so keep an eye on this board.

To write up your character, you'd probably want a template, most folks would. You can find those right here; Character Sheets. That link takes you to the standard profile template, but if you scroll down, you can find a literary template, if that better suites your taste. You profiles don't have to be approves, so once your done, and no one points out any problems, you can start RPing.

Well, I think that's about it! Any other questions, you could ask an admin. They have grey names. Hope this helped!

We like to give the illusion that we know what we're doing. Mostly though things are ran by a bus ****er, a couple of canadians, a furry and a guy with a gay crush on the winchester brothers and superman.

Just read all the stickies and the like first there mate. We're also doing a time jump here in about a week, might want to wait till then and familiarize yourself with the site and people more. Also, welcome!
