Zur-Kor considered what the young Zeltron said then spoke in a low and menacing voice.

"I never said anything about taking her alive..."
His voice became lighter and slightly more cheerful; "Yet, I admit it would be... better."

He now turned to Caru who was trying hard not to be noticed.

"If I was you I wouldn't even think about trying something funny in this of all situations."

He looked back at Bishop. "I assume you have a pair of cuffs to restrain her?"

As he waited for a reply he was alerted by a little beep that sounded in his helmet that only he could hear. It was a small device that let him know when Murdoks thugs were getting nearer as well as Murdok himself. They had got his message and were coming with speed. It was only a matter of time before their little stand off would turn into all out war. Then his plan would be complete, he would have the girl and Bishop would be dead.

Kryte lowered his gun to waist height.

This was news to Kryte. And it came right after she had almost crippled him with greif.

If he wanted her alive or dead, why was he trying to negotiate? It seemed like the merc should have just stalked out in front and waited, shooting her as she came out. Unless... If he tried to kill us all indiscriminately with the thermal detonator at first, and now he just wants the girl, and ALIVE at that... He must have receive some sort of change in orders.

Well, at least he doesn't want to kill me and Bishop anymore. Argh, what can we do?

Kryte was forming an idea, but had no idea how viable it would be. The interior of the building seemed to be in a standoff, his only thought would be to shoot wildly above everyones head... well maybe AT the mercs head, in a spread fire, force everyone to get down, and jump on the bike and run... But...
He'd never even fired a gun at a living thing before!

OOC: Sorry for the delay, I was in Belgium for four days.

This merc in front of Bishop spoke like he knew who Bishop was. Bishop had an idea who he could be, but he wasn't too sure. He could be anyone.

"Mate, I honestly don't give a damn whatever happens to the girl. Kryte and me got a job to do, and you're wasting our time." he said as he lowered his guns. Trusting on Kryte, and knowing he had his gun aimed at her, he continued aiming his blasters at the merc in front of him.

"Now, show me your face." Bishop said. "Show me your face, Zur-Kor!"

It was useless to hide it anymore from Bishop. He swung his cloak and hood back revealing the Blood red Armor underneath.

"Now, now Bishop, we don't want to frighten your friends with what face I have left"

He took a step forward, the cold expressionless mask still fixed on Bishop.

"Let's not make this personnel Bishop, you wouldn't want to do something you will regret"

Zur-Kor looked towards the Zeltron who had the gun fixed on Caru

"Bring her here, boy. This is almost over"

Kryte saw no other option than to do as he was told. Hopefully this Caru girl could take care of herself, even if she is a little... spacey.

"Follow me Caru, just keep walking forward" Kryte said as he lifted his already aimed slugthrower and started walking back towards the two Mercs.

If we play our cards right, the rest of these negotiations will be a breeze. he thought.

Caru shook her head slightly as she heard the bounty hunter's comment on keepng her alive, it didn't frighten her because he needed the information to collect the bounty, not a dead body. And he needed her body-alive-to get the information. She froze as Kryte moved his weapon lower, her own hand on her blaster in her pocket, down where Bishop and Zur-Kor couldn't see. Caru's eyes were fixed on Kryte and him alone as he started moving. She stayed rigid in her spot, halfway leaning against the speeder behind her, debating what to do. Kryte didn't have cuffs, which was a curse and a blessing all in one, she supposed. Although, should someone have gotten out the cuffs, she doubted Bishop would take action-they obviously hadn't worked together before-if she took his new partner as collateral.

Her free hand drummed incessantly on the speeder's outer shell, she just stared at Kryte as he tried to move her up to the front of the room. Her eyes flicked to the back room, Garen wasn't out yet, hopefully he had left. How convienient that the man named Zur-Kor had said "everyone" and named Garen, and now didn't pay the least attention to his absence. Was it with Garen's help that the bounty hunter had learned of..the target? Who was the target, it appeared that Zur-Kor also didn't really know who he was hunting, he had attacked all of them, then Bishop individually, and now her, but none of them were related. She was concerned with that, it meant that the man was either realllly indecisive, or just went for the most money he could collect. Which meant that the bounty her parents had placed on her head was considerable. Damn, that was kind of exciting. The fact that the information she has was worth so much money, she could probably sell it off for much, much more.

It wasn't that hard to fix Kryte with huge doe eyes and emanate fright, she just had to loose those animalistic inhibitions. She didn't dare move, either to cooperate or retreat. The only comfort was that the two men who could actually shoot without having second thoughts were staring each other down at the moment.

Kryte suddenly became scared. Zur-Kor didn't care if he had to kill Kryte to get to Caru, Bishop had no strong ties to Kryte, Caru was probably packing and ready to get rid of Kryte if she had to, and--to top it all off--Zur-Kor had that damn thermal detonator.

"AARGH, Please Caru, I don't want to take you to him anymore than you want to go, but we don't have a choice, we're all dead if we don't comply."

(OOC: Thanks Phil, I mentioned a few posts back that Zur-Kor had contacted Murdok and given the position of the Garage to him. A whole bunch of thugs should turn up right about now)

"Let's not make this personnel Bishop, you wouldn't want to do something you will regret"

Bishop looked very angry at Zur-Kor. He then said: "What can I do to feel regret? I don't regret things I do anymore, Zur-Kor. You know me. I fight till the end, no matter what. So, fight me. Me alone."

He put his guns away and unsheathed his vibrosword, he kept hidden underneath his coat all the time.

"C'mon, Zur-Kor. I want my bloody revenge!"

Bishop was now driven by his anger. The hatred he felt for Zur-Kor had made him blind. He did not realise Zur-Kor had a detonator and he did not care who were around him. He just wanted to fight the merc in front of him and he wanted to kill him.

Caru jumped when Bishop yelled, and, making eye contact with Kryte, nodded towards the back door slightly. She edged closer to the counter at the back of the room. If a fight was going to go down others would come, that was a given in this district. And she wanted some capable weaponry when that was going to happen.

"Kryte..." she said slowly, pulling her hand out of her pocket and leaving it at her side to make it clear she held no malicious intent. She had figured out now that he was easier to play than Bishop and Zur-Kor. She didn't have much finesse in getting herself out of shit, but he was so green at this and not nearly as uptight as the other two."I'm just going to go into the back room and get myself an adequate gun, cause I can bet you a month's worth of pay that some hired muscle is going to show up any second, both of these guys look like they know half the lower levels of Coruscant..."

She started sliding off the bike and heading towards the back slowly, almost casually, keeping an eye on Zur-Kor and Bishop and beckoning the Zeltron."I think it would be to your benefit to just comply and look like you're taking me to the back or something, because I don't wanna end up dead in some stupid skirmish over egos and honor." To elaborate on her point she glanced back at the pair of men.

Kryte heard Caru's quiet words, and decided to go along with it. "Alright, I wouldn't mind more firepower, lets just go quickly and quietly. Well, mainly just quietly." Kryte walked up to Caru, grabbed her by her wrist and whispered in her ear "Just play along." Scanning his surroundings to make sure that the mercs were too busy dealing with each other to notice him, he than started making his way to the back room with Caru.

"You will fight me again?" Snarled Zur-Kor clearly in no mood for this.

"You will die Bishop, you will die right here at my feet. We are now fighting for different things this time." Zur-Kor had forgotten all about Caru and Kryte, he lowered his hand with Detonator and switched it off. Then, letting his cloak drop to the floor he pulled out his twin Vibroswords.

Zur-Kor lived for close combat, he was unmatched in Strength and speed with the blades. However his opponent had nothing to lose, and seethed anger, it would be an interesting battle.

Zur-Kor twirled the blades in his hand, taking a fighting pose he waited.

"If you are ready to accept your fate, step forward and I will finish the job I started all those years ago."

OOC: Right, here comes Murdok!

IC: A loud speeder was heard in the distance, and within less then a minute, a rather large Speeder that looked like it was a mobile home pulled up infront of the garage where a hole was blown in. The mobile home was reinforced with armor plating and looked like it was more like a Mobile armored home then anything. The back door of it slid open and a small gang of light armored thugs consisting of mostly men stepped out, armed with slugthrowing rifles. This was the area the beacon was, and where Murdok would put a stop to this whole mess that was already draining him of his funds.

A small security camera outside the trailer looked around and spotted several sentients inside the garage with a hole blown into the door, and Murdok recognized several inside.

"Damnit, they were right! Alright boys, get rid of them, all of them!" Murdok yelled through an intercom outside the trailer to his thugs outside. Receiving their orders, a group of about eight men ran into the garage, guns blazing.

The bullets flew though the air, but missed Bishop. He stepped forward towards Zur-Kor and did not seem to realize the backup had come that Zur-Kor had asked for.

"I don't care, Zur-Kor. I only care for your very death! If I have to pay with my life for it, I will, but I will take you with me!"

He then raised his sword and ran at Zur-Kor. He slashed very powerful towards Zur-Kor's left arm.

Caru had just led Kryte back into the locked armory when her datapad 'ding'ed more than half a dozen times. She pulled it out of her pocket and tugged her other hand from Kryte's grip. She set it on the counter and pointed at it, the screen had fizzed to life and was now showing men armed with weapons-albeit slightly outdated-that were meant for destruction and death on a massive scale. "See? What'd I say. You woulda been dead by now. Of course they'll know we're back here..."

Her voice trailed off as she was distracted by heaving crates from shelves onto the floor. Quickly keying open several she set some burly looking rifles on the counter, choosing the nasty looking one she had shown him earlier for herself. The wide stubby barrels of the three weapons she had set on the counter all pointed at Kryte. She pulled a bandolier off a shelf and shoved power packs and gas canisters into it, swinging it over her shoulder. She pulled one of the blasters off the counter, the prototype disintigrator, powered up both cells, and switched the safety off. SHe then hooked it onto her back, sliding all the crates under the counter with her boot.

She looked determined, and maybe slightly spooked as she loaded a power pack and cartridges into the weapon she then handed to him. This one's simple, it's got a bit of spray though, but that's ok, your aim isn't that good.." She loaded the last weapon and grabbed it, tucking the datapad back into her pocket. She grinned all of a sudden, holding her rifle with one hand as she rubbed her eyes. Caru pulled her contacts out and stuck them in a small pouch on her belt, fumbling slightly for the first time.

She scooted around the corner, back to the door, and glanced at him, her eyes now devoid of iris or pupil. "You ready? I don't know where they are now, but.." She pulled her datapad out and glanced at it, the thugs still hadn't started towards the series of back rooms. She pused open the door into Garen's office and found the Togruta cowering under the desk, his horns making the task somewhat impossible. She spat a curse at him but was more distracted by the sounds coming from behind the door that led to the front of the shop.

Her finger slipped to the trigger as she looked at Kryte once more, "We're going behind the counter ok? It's right outside the door to the right. They have slugthrowers but we have no way of knowing what type of ammo they're running until they fire at us. So...just don't get hit.." She shook her head slightly, neither of them were wearing armor. And she was SO late for work. Caru started to have second thoughts, she could just hop out of the window in this room and book it..

"You are so in my debt if I get you out of this, kid." She smiled and opened the door, sliding under the counter and coughing as the breath was knocked from her lungs. She fired a bolt through the counter at close range, it was solid metal all the way through, but from a foot away the pure energy chewed right through it. She looked through the hole, forgetting all about Kryte, and looked at the men who had just entered. THey weren't wearing too much armor, and most of them were human. That would make life..easier. She could see where their body heat glowed through the places where the plates of armor fit together, she picked out several vulnerable areas and scooted over to the right several feet from where she had fired through the counter.

Carudyc popped up and fired off a couple rounds. She had no clue if she had hit any of them, and there was also Bishop and Zur-Kor in the way. She wondered if they were now targets too...

Zur-Kor Raised his left Blade and the Swords struck with screeching sound. Using Bishops momentum against him, Zur-Kor swung with Bishop around so his back was facing the oncoming thugs.

A stray bullet glanced off his shoulder, not penetrating the armor but throwing him off balance. "That two-timing son of a bitch!"
Zur-Kor realized that standing here and slugging it out with Bishop would just get them both killed. Bishop was a man possessed and would ignore the thugs, only coming after him. Zur-Kor sighed, it was to be a running battle then and Zur-Kor would unavoidably save Bishops life.

Turning around Zur-Kor scooped up his cloak and started running for the back, draping the cloak over himself as he went. Bishop wasn't far behind...

OOC: Sure, NPC's are fare game, though I'll just NPC Murdok, who is in his trailer.
