BIOGRAPHY:
Jay Whest was born to a relatively average family on the bustling Republic capitol of Coruscant. His father was a political aide to the Senator of Duros, and his mother a homemaker. Jay was their first son, followed by two more siblings. As the oldest he was always a leader, and strove to set an example for his sister and brother. Whest was rather stoic growing up, not prone to affection. He passed through school with above average grades, often making honor roll, and also played in numerous sports. He excelled at both physical and intellectual activities but was not the most social.

Jay had only a few friends, but those whom he bonded with were his confidants and constant companions. They had like interests, and growing up Jay and his friends remained mostly out of trouble and stayed away from the drugs and alcohol that ruled many of their peers. Jay would not be called rebellious, but he and his father often clashed on political and moral subjects. Jay enjoyed hunting and was supremely conservative, but his father was a liberal thinker and against blaster rights. Jay's dislike of his father often exploded, and the two would often trade words over the years. He never particularly clung to his mother but still loved his whole family. As Jay graduated school he left home immediately and got a job as a junior field reporter for a small news reporting station.

Whest worked as a civilian for five years out of high school, making himself a decent foundation to work off of. He remained in touch with his family, especially his siblings, and his father and Whest eventually were on better terms. As Jay turned 23 he felt the call to service even stronger than before and enlisted within the Republic Army boot camp. Jay proved himself an expert rifleman after hunting his whole life, and also as a natural hand to hand combatant. Jay anxiously waited for his assignment after completing the training.

After being assigned to the Republic Army and passing Officer Candidate School Jay was assigned and commissioned as a Lieutenant. His skill and training was taken note of by his superiors, and he was cross trained into the SOLAG, the elite Republic Commandoes. Jay, now placing as a high ranking technical specialist within the SOLAG, prepares to serve his faction in all ways possible in the coming days of battle.

Good enough to just go ahead and be a Lieutenant. You wanted Army and not Navy, correct?

You're in and good to go. You may want to look at SOLAG. A lot of our military types on the ground have cross-trained into SOLAG.

If you want to stay just army, I'm working to get stuff for you guys to do.

When you say, SOLAG, you mean the Sector 13 Special Operations division? If not, I'm not exactly sure what you're speaking of.

Otherwise, thanks for the approval, d00d.

Yes, I'm still interested. I'll see about training / doing anything necessary either after we finish said operation or in another specific time IC if you allow that on your site.

Alright. It'll be good to have you. Your a lieutenant, so that should be fine. I always think it's good to have an operation under your belt before you do special training. It'll definitely look good for promotions.

As newly commissioned officers always look for assistance and often defer to trained and experienced Non-coms Jay will follow your lead during the Operation but also lead whatever contingent of the mission you deem necessary.

You should definitely join SOLAG. You definitely seem like a good writer, and we can always use those. Plus it is always fun to blow shit up.
