((Apologies for short posting))

Dartel was the last to leave the ship, being of his Zabraki descent as well as wielding a large nasty looking scar for an eye he thought it would be best. He followed Nakoma and Raleigh into the local establishment but parted ways almost immediately to stay near the perimeter; again concealing his appearance as much as possible. He reached through the force and attempted to shroud himself within it but wasn’t sure just how successful he was as doing so.

He watched Nakoma’s playful act before she sat with the man in the corner. From where Dartel stood he couldn’t tell if the man was normally that shade of green or if he was ill with something. One of the waitresses flowed by and asked if Dartel wanted anything, but with a wave of his hand she was on her way again. Dartel smiled to himself as he heard the message from Nakoma about following the man. He waited until he was the last to leave again and followed a slight distance from the others in order to observe the alley for potential attackers.

Dartel followed Nakoma and Raleigh into the room that was up the rusty stairs. The Sullustian within was ringing his hands; Dartel sighed softly and expelled a rather large amount of calm and warming energy through the force in order to relax the man and compel him to be more co-operative. Dartel was patiently fueling more calm and warming energy through the room as Nakoma spoke to the man.

“I understand that you are scared, but we wish to return you to the way things were. We want to remove the people who are causing harm and then leave Sullust. It is a beautiful planet, and we hope that we can help it prosper once more.”

(OOC: we should have at least 3 dark jedi attack our characters NCPd by each of us :p I NCP against Nakoma or Pyro and pyro on me or something like that. what do you guys think?)

Raleigh was confident on Nakoma as she would have a stronger ability to reading and understanding the minds of others as a telepath. What Raleigh was not expecting was her approach and what he saw was both interesting and amusing to see as she flirted with the guy for his drink. Nakoma was beautiful and she seemed to have no problem using her looks as a tool to get the job done....she practically had that guy around her finger so easily that he could have been fooled if she said she used the force to alter her mind. Raleigh grinned at how fun the sight looked as he enjoyed his drink 'she really gets around don't she, what ever it is , no one can deny she got swagger' Raleigh thought to himself as he questioned her career with in the jedi unless he had missed any low profile aspects of her job she partook in. Raleigh laughed at the irony of it all as he saw her work; when you knew how to deal with us, man were weak and Raleigh admitted this fully.

Raleigh was hardly a diplomat in comparison to Nakoma and his padawan Khalsea, he could talk some sense onto others and maybe even show some silver tongue but he was more built for combat then anything else. Nakoma sure was an important component in their team as her telepathy helped her connect with the man as he listened to their talks with his telepathic link. Listening carefully, he not only kept in touch with what was going on but made sure to learn how Nakoma talked and connected with others to know how to do it himself. To surpass his abridge weakness in diplomacy and better approach such matters with the level of skill he learned from both her fellow knight and padawan.

Seeing how she proceeded with the Sullustian as she followed him some paces behind, Raleigh slapped the bar counter with some creds and then followed casually. Following the group with Dartel some steps behind, Raleigh looked around as he thought he saw a dark jedi roaming around a few streets away as it seemed he had not seen or sensed them yet. Raleigh knew that if they did not stand out, the dark jedi did not seem to be aware of their presence and in fact were not actively looking for them. If this was the case, Raleigh thought it be best to keep incognito until they had more info for their mission.

Following the group up the stairs to the attic, Raleigh listened to Nakoma as she made sure to address the elephant in the room that was their difference to the dark jedi. As Nakoma asked for information and Dartel ensured the sullustian, Raleigh listened silently as the sullustian talked thanks to Nakoma's warmth in the force which eased his worries. Plus Raleigh was one big guy and Dartel was of a race that were known for violence and if he was a true jedi then things might start to look up.

"I must admit that I have been working for the dark jedi at the laser sword's point for some time and been doing jobs for them. I don't know if they worry that the jedi will catch on to their vigilantism because they never openly express it and are normally calm most of the time....in their own way at least. They wouldn't be so bad if they were not so rigid in their beliefs and pushing them on to others but some times they seem almost like a gang now and practically control this sector of the planet now, maybe even the whole planet. you saw no one out in the streets, correct? That is because they have control of the government, specially here and have forced a sector wide curfew with infractions punishable by tax or even incarceration. They have forced the jedi code on all of us believing that it is the path to salvation and happiness and punish all those that do not follow it. Alcohol is banned and has to be smuggled, weapons have been confiscated and we are forced into sermons every seven days. It was....ok at first but they grew to be stricter and more aggressive as the months went by. The pinnacle of their cruelty came when a jedi.....I mean dark jedi came with a robotic arm and tattoos in his face. He rose through their ranks and now is their leader, some how either the other dark jedi are fine with it or are too scared to speak up but they even started to deal with crime lords and smugglers, calling it "a needed evil" and using me as their supplier. Its all just not right, we want things to go back to normal when we sold our volcanic soil and ores like nothing happened" the Sullustian looked down in shame as Raleigh walked over and rubbed his back wile whispering "shhh its all cool man, you could not have been able to do anything so dont beat yourself up over it. What is important is that you came to us for help and here we are. Its all going to be ok and once we convince the dark jedi of their errors, we will bring take them and help them. They are sick and they need our help.....but I feel that robot armed dark jedi may not be so easy to sway by the sound of things. What are your thoughts Nakoma?" Raleigh asked as he tried to reassure the man who clearly felt guilty for his forced part in this things. He needed their help more then ever.

Nakoma's brows furrowed in concern as she listened to the Sullustan speak in a trembling voice. He was visibly shaken and a step beyond paranoid at this point. The woman shook her head as he described the mistreatment that he and his people had received at the hands of these wayward Jedi. "My heart aches for you and for your people, my friend. Do not fear, though. We will put an end to the tyranny." Raleigh looked to the woman and asked for her thoughts on the situation. She cast a glance over to Dartel and wished that Raleigh had asked the question bilaterally.

Just as Nakoma was about to speak, there suddenly was a wave of darkness that rippled through the Force like tremors from an earthquake. Without hesitation, the Knight pulled the silver hilt of her lightsaber from the heavy utility belt around her waste. "They're here..." she whispered into the minds of her fellow Jedi. Without warning, a strange hum accompanied by a zephyr shot past the woman's ear, but by the time she reacted by turning her head in the direction of its origin, it was too late.

Protruding from the informant's neck was a dart about the width of Nakoma's smallest finger. Her golden eyes grew wide and her lips parted slightly as she stared in disbelief at the Sullustan. His eyes grew dim as he dropped to his knees and fell over in a lifeless heap upon the floor. The raven haired woman's jaw clenched as her finger slid over the raised ignition button upon the silver cylinder within her tight grasp. A bluish green blade shot forth from the hilt with a hiss and hum.

Seconds later, three figures emerged from the shadows along the perimeter of the massive upper room. They laughed maniacally and exchanged glances while beginning to slowly circle the Knights. "So you actually think that you can stop the work of the Force? That you can stop us" a large man with tattoos upon his face growled as he spat the words from his lips. "Others have tried..." a second man with cropped blonde hair spoke in brash tones. "...but, they failed," the third member finished with sadistic hues coloring his words.

"You have drifted from the truth...it is not the will of the Force that you are working for by terrorizing the Sullustan people. What has captured your hearts and pulled you astray?" The woman's gentle words left her mind and entered those of everyone present in the warehouse attic. The men stopped circling for a moment as they shared a look of disbelief before the silence erupted into a guffaw. "That's rich, woman. You should learn to hold your tongue," the tattooed leader hissed at her as he spoke. Nakoma gritted her teeth together and swallowed hard in an attempt to push back a hint of acid filtering into her emotional sphere.

The negotiations were brief and in the blink of an eye, the three darkened Force users lashed out at the Knights in an unprovoked attack. The blonde man who stood just a little over six feet tall pulled a saber hilt from his waist and ignited it as he lept toward Raleigh. His finger hit the ignition switch and suddenly two blades shot forth from each end, both a dark ruby color. He spun the weapon in his hand while coming down upon the Knight. He stepped in close and swung the blade downward toward the Jedi's left shoulder just seconds before pulling the bottom blade upward and to the left, intending to lay a slice in the Knight's right side.

From the back of the room, Dartel listened to everything around him. He felt the enveloping force and how it flowed through everybody within the room. He calmed his mind and breathed slowly. There was something that the force was attempting to pull his attention to, but the conversation was more important. Things needed to be heard and it would be rude and counterproductive if Dartel was caught ignoring the Sullustian. Dartel was able to notice the twinge of annoyance within Nakoma's graceful features and wondered about it, clearly he had missed something.

Then it was there, the ripple in the force. Dartel's attention had been ripped away forcibly by the dart that now stuck out from the Sullustian's neck. With a quickstep and a bit of force speed, Dartel was away from the walls and closer to his friends. Had it been a trap set for them? How long were they outside? Dartel's hands flinched to the lightsaber hilts on either hip before letting go and taking another deep, calming breath. The darkside energy had triggered something within Dartel and it took several seconds before Dartel was confident he wasn't going to lash out at the intruders. He was angry, there was something there that would need Dartel's attention later, but now he needed to focus. It was his first actual fight since coming back, it was the first time that his life was in danger.

"You have drifted from the truth...it is not the will of the Force that you are working for by terrorizing the Sullustan people. What has captured your hearts and pulled you astray?"

Dartel could hear Nakoma's words resonate in his mind, it was calming despite the clearly on guard tone. Dartel took some more time to clear his thoughts for the inevitable fight. He was the closest person to the three men and knew that his fight was going to be important for maintaining the ground they had; just like last time. Dartel closed his eyes for one last breath of peace and could hear the three men lash out. He was ready.

"May the force be with us all today."

It was but a whisper, but it sent an eerie tone through the force. It was how Dartel used his Battle Meditation. Delivering a calming neutral message was Dartel's signature. He fuelled the message with empowering warmth for his allies, but flooded it with insecurities for their opponents. The man with several tattoos lurched for Nakoma in a somewhat unorthodox manor. He gripped his saber and spun quickly while igniting it. The saber would roll through her torso from left to right while the man would continue to push through with some close combat attack.

"I will show you how to hold that tongue, wench."

Raleigh saw the Sullustian die before then as the poison dart punctured the informant's neck injecting the deadly chemical into his system. As the surprise attack caused Raleigh to quickly draw his light saber, he saw 3 figures appear out of the shadows surrounding the 3 jedi causing him to activate his light saber as the lead spoke with Nakoma. If their brief chat was any sign of diplomacy then Raleigh immediately figured the Jedi's doubts had unfortunately come to pass. This was not how Raleigh wanted things to end and it was obvious the fallen jedi had been deceived by this trio of darksiders. If the whole cult of dark jedi was this evil then they should have been here to help their masters so only two outcomes made sense; either the other jedi don't exactly follow their mindsets and had their eyes veiled by trickery or the dark jedi were so sure of themselves that they believed to be capable to take on the trio of jedi themselves.

Whatever the case, the fight was on as the trio of dark jedi charged forward.

Feeling Dartel's intention to battle meditate the group, Raleigh took in a deep breath as he followed with his own supplementation. Joining Dartel in Battle Meditation to bolster their abilities even more, sending a wave of focus and determination to win in the minds of his fellow jedi in contrast to the calming of Dartel. Against the sith the effect was no different to Dartel's, feeling their minds with discomfort and doubt about the situation to make them slightly better targets in battle. "lets harmonize in the force for peace through superior fire power" Raleigh telepathically followed with Dartel's message weather it was acknowledged or not with in the minds of his fellow jedi.

Seeing the bigger dark jedi, a blond charge him with a furious attack of his saber staff, Raleigh glared and ignited his own blade as he steeped forward letting the dark jedi approach before stepping to the side with his light saber parried his first attack as he stepped to the right with a power blow aiming to brake the blond's balance but strong enough to be able to parry the upper cut if his initial power parry had not worked. As his primary saber fighting style demanded, Raleigh needed to push on the offensive brutally hard once he saw an opening or once he made one. Needing an opening to TRY and finish the duel quickly, hopefully in the flow of the battle he would find and exploit one as soon as it appeared to him.
