Oh Bac. Ya haven't changed a bit.

Sure?

Any woo Kanan 8 preview teaser mentions an attack on the Jedi Temple. I wonder if it's the same one as hanger bombing in Clone Wars season 5?

That would be cool, especially if - as some have theorized - one of the new Inquisitors is Barriss.

Yeah, if it is her, it almost looks like her tattoos were removed.

I mean, I hope it's not her, but I wouldn't put it past them.

I would be onboard with Barriss being an Inquisitor. : O

Her markings almost look like facial scarring, as if from removing a tattoo.

I don't think it fits her character. Barriss was a terrorist but she was fueled by something that was actually right. She wasn't evil like the Inquisitors are. Based on what we know about her, it's hard to imagine that she'd ever get on board with the idea of the Empire.

I would, however, be cool with it if she was secretly working with Ahsoka from the inside. That would make sense.

@Brandon Rhea Unless she is still feeling the Jedi did her wrong and sees the Empire as liberators. I mean she was young at the time and could easily be brainwashed if she is still harboring ill-will towards the Jedi.

She's right... From a certain point of view. The Republic is failing (because Palpatine is turning it into an Empire) and the Jedi are fighting on the side of the Dark Side (because the Sith control both sides) but neither of these things are the Jedi's fault or doing. She is wrong about the Jedi being responsible for the war and being corrupt. The Jedi Order is ultimately the last obstacle Palpatine has to destroy to usher in The Empire.

She is a hypocrite that proves to be exactly what she condemns the Jedi Order as being. A violent and murderous Dark Sider that lies and manipulates. The cruel irony of the Dark Side.

With all the said I'd lean against it being her until I see how big a role this new Inquisitor plays in Season 2. Maybe we'll get some hints in the upcoming Kanan issues.

If the new Inquisitor is Barriss, they got the eyes wrong. Unless maybe they're continuing with the whole 'dark side corruption' element which may have them turn from blue to yellow-ish.

I do hope in some way, Barriss does come back. It seems that Rebels so far isn't afraid to bring characters from TCW and Films into their bubble of canon. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if They added a Barriss-Ahsoka dynamic, along with the Vader-Ahsoka one. May even prove to be a redemption story, if given the chance.

I thought the latest issue was OK. So far I'm not liking the First Blood arc as much as I liked The Last Padawan, but it's decent enough.

The second story arc of Kanan was alright, but I liked the first one much better. Looking interested in the next issue, or last as Doom called it.

This was a pretty good issue, better then most of this second arc, I think. Not a bad way to end this series.

I was surprised to see the return of Admiral Sloane, who was in the novel "A New Dawn".

Still waiting on some collected volumes to come out. I tire of chasing down individual issues.
