Drasha as a Jedi Master

The trip to Tatooine was smooth enough. Especially compared with going to Ruusan, this was as though they were floating there. Ashara meditated, centering herself, as did her Apprentice. Drasha worked on a few things with her Apprentice in the cargo hold, and the Knight allowed Tyrus to do so as well. It took a few days to get there, even on the hyperspace route, and when they finally arrived, Tyrus and Deenro were eager to get off. However, they were met with blistering heat and a harsh wind. It was a good thing Ashara suggested that Tyrus wear his light robes, otherwise they would be more than miserable. Drasha had done the same with her Apprentice as well, of course.

They made their way to Mos Espa and split up, Ashara going with Deenro and Drasha with Tyrus. They had good conversation as they worked to find out the situation. All had been briefed; a series of well organized, planned and coordinated thefts, robberies and murders had been taking place as of late. The suspects were unknown, as was the number of individuals. It was quickly discovered that there were many, at least a dozen, behind the crimes. The mastermind was not known, however. It was clear to both the elder Jedi that these could not be done by any thugs, and that it was all the more likely that someone was organizing the attacks.

The first few nights they were there were uneventful. However, they spread rumors, with the help of a few trustworthy citizens, that the Jedi had left. That night, the Jedi split up, this time with their own Apprentices, and staked out the city. Dark figures were watched as they sped along the back alleys. The Togruta followed a pair as they entered a home. She followed close behind, shrouding her presence from them. She watched as she stood right behind them while they pulled out blasters. They were about to shoot a male Rodian as he slept, but the Knight wasn't about to let that happen. Her saber streaked out and impaled one through the torso. The other whipped around only to be met with a wall of the Force and slammed hard against the far wall. The Rodian awoke in horror as Ashara stunned the man and made him completely immobile. She proceeded to disarm him which took the better portion of a minute due to the amount of weapons he had on him.

Once this was completed, she diminished his catatonic state and waited as he recovered from the paralysis. Questioning him, she found out that, indeed, they were being led by someone. However, he wouldn't give her a name, but he did give her a place. Far out in the desert there was a large cavern due southwest of the city about five miles. That is where they were getting their orders. He also let the Jedi know that something big was planned and that they would die if they attempted to go there and end his boss. She then proceeded to bring him to the Jedi transport and imprison him in a holding bay on the shuttle. She returned and met up with Drasha, who had the same story after apprehending a thief of her own.

The next day they set out in the direction of the cave in question. It took a few hours, even on their speeders they had borrowed in the name of the Order, to make it to the location. They parked far enough away that, on the dunned expanse of sand, their speeders were out of sight and their presence wouldn't be known unless someone happened upon that particular spot. The four then set out in the direction of the only solid ground in sight.

This took the better part of an hour even at their quickened pace as they sped over the sand. When the rather large stone structure, a cave that stuck out of the ground it seemed, loomed before them, they stopped several hundred meters from the gaping maw. Teams of scouts patrolled the area. Thus, the four split up to dispatch them. Ashara handled two of her own, making sure that no transmissions would be sent to alert the others. The Apprentices had been told to do the same, however Tyrus was not quick enough with one group. A short yelp was relayed over their comms, and suddenly it became unnaturally quiet.

After getting rid of the rest of them, the Jedi waited off to the side of the cave. There was an intensity in the air that did not bode well for the Jedi. It was then that a thunderous roar was expelled from the jaws of a mighty creature invisible to the Jedi. All four Jedi vibrated with an intensity not thought possible by a mere sound. It was clearly within the cave, but the origins of it went unknown for several moments. Drasha finally realized it was, indeed, a Krayt Dragon. They could only assume it was, somehow, under the control of whomever was there. After the roar dissipated, a sickening feeling through the Force crashed down on the Jedi. Ashara quickly shut it out, Tyrus doing so soon after. Drasha had no issue with it, however Deenro was not quite as adept at the skill and had to be instructed through the process, which took precious time.

Crashing as though the world was falling sounded out as the creature stepped out of the cave, revealing itself. Practically sinking into the endless sand, the huge mass turned to where the Jedi were and quickly spotted them. A voice rang out from the head of the beast, where the individual stood, and warned them that they were going to die this day. That no mercy would be shown. The four quickly stood and readied for the assault.

A plan was exchanged mentally among the four Jedi. Ashara was to distract the individual as the other three were to work and disable the great dragon. The three sped out towards the great beast. Just when they entered the range of the entity upon the creature, Ashara's mind assaulted his own. She hoped she was skilled enough to at least keep him distracted and hoped to the Force that it wouldn't take long for them to kill the thing.

His mind, as it was certainly male, was far more protected than she anticipated. However, her mind washed upon his and battered at the cracks and dents that she could find. He was strong, that much was for sure. However, he was also deeply corrupted, which was not surprising. As such, his mental defense was far from impenetrable. However, even as she attacked him, he retaliated in kind. Back and forth they went at the speed of thought. Moments were filled with several attacks and counters from each, and each moment was excruciatingly slow yet was too fast to truly comprehend.

The Knight managed to hold her own as the remaining three Jedi set upon the giant monster. Deenro distracted the best, releasing his blade from his hand at the face of the creature. A swiping hand and whipping tail greeted this as Drasha sped underneath the dragon and cut deep into both left legs. Deenro only narrowly escaped the retaliating dragon as it roared out in pain and stumbled with its wounds and flinched from the harsh burn upon its face. Tyrus came up on its right flank. Jumping, he stuck the creature in the side, his sabers up to the hilt within the creature. Drasha came back the way she had come with her blades facing upwards, gutting the beast. Tyrus slid down the side of the dragon as steaming blood gushed out of the wounds. The mighty creature fell and the being jumped down from his perch.

At this point, Ashara ended her assault and sped to meet with her comrade. However, she would end up being too late.

The man fell upon Deenro and clashed blades with him for only a handful of blows. Even before Drasha could reach him, a red blade skewered the man through the chest. In a final effort, he stabbed the man through the stomach before releasing his blade and dying upon the sands of Tatooine.

In a righteous fury, Drasha fell upon the man. He managed, even with his wound, to fend off a few of her attacks. However, he was quickly stabbed once again through the chest. As he choked on his own blood, she pulled her blade back and decapitated the man where he stood, already dying. It was only then that Ashara reached the enraged Twi'lek. Her chest heaved and her eyes were filled with tears. She screamed at Ashara and blamed the Knight for the death of her Apprentice. She accused her of releasing her grip on his mind too quickly and allowing him the time and ability to kill him. She pleaded with her to see reason, but she released a barrage of lightning upon her. Tyrus came to her side, but Drasha was already well into the distance. She vowed to have her revenge.

Ashara believed that such a day would occur.

With his minimal knowledge, Tyrus attempted to heal what he could of Ashara's wounds. She appreciated his efforts, but urged him to stop. She wasn't all that hurt, regardless, and she could mend her own wounds. They returned to their speeders at a slower pace than they had left them. Once they reached the transports, Ashara relayed a message to their pilot and told him the situation. They returned to Mos Espa and boarded the shuttle. Once there, she relayed a similar message to the Order.

Their return to the Temple seemed much longer than before. The Knight was unsure of her future. Would she be blamed for the death of the young Jedi and the fall of her friend? She almost wanted to be.

It has been quite some time, but a small group remains around the crazed Twi'lek. Snatching them up from the obscure, the dark crevasses of the galaxy. She takes the forsaken, the untouchables, the tarnished. These are her Disciples, her students, her followers, her worshipers. They have been promised money and power, to exact revenge against those that have wronged them. Most of all, though, is to reveal the Jedi for all that they are - liars, cheats and hypocrites. The galaxy is held back by them. A new Order needs to rise up and bring forth a new era in the galaxy. One of progress, of luxury and ease. The end is all that matters. As such, any means will be taken without hesitation to reach this goal.

I very much liked this character reading Ashara's profile the first time. I'm very interested to see where you take Lady Atra.
Curious: How did you come with the name? Are you going to try to make an Indie Faction?

The name is Latin for dark/darkness/terror.

As per the OOC thread I made, an Indie faction would be cool, but not really necessary.

But yeah, I plan on getting into loads of mischief with her. It'll be fun. >D
