"And the one called Durane?"
"Spare him, help him for the mean time, that is what we are paying you for."
"The rest of them?"
"If they have no association with the one named Durane, they are... well let's just say you'll have your satisfaction. And your pay."
"Understood"
"Then we have a deal? I'm sure that we have the information you seek Mister Ather, it should not be a problem at all."
"And if you somehow fail to deliver, I'll find you, I promise you that much."
"Of course..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Glowing eyes and a slowly ebbing smoke, that was what the Reminder was known for. A Ghost, solely because that was all you saw before you died. Men have unloaded entire clips of slugs in this man's direction yet hit nothing, unexplainable really but that was what The Reminder was, a mystery.
He had been tracking them for days, making sure when the time was right, when it would be possible for him to make his move.
It looked like today was that day. But first he would have to ground that blasted ship, permanantly.
It would be difficult keeping Durane alive in a situation like that, not that the Reminder would feel any remorse, he just needed that information and he was planning to get it, one way or another.
Smoke seeped into the ship's hall as the Reminder's entity washed aboard.
"This could prove to be fun."
